After
seeing
so
many
pictures
on
Instagram,
we
decided
we
needed
to
check
out
Portal
to
see
what
it
was
like.
The
entrance
is
pretty
clear
on
Tryon,
there's
a
sign
pointing
you
around
the
corner
and
down
a
brightly
colored
staircase.
We
got
our
tickets
online
ahead
of
time,
so
they
were
scanned,
we
were
given
some
info,
and
we
were
free
to
explore.
There's
about
10
different
rooms
that
you
can
explore
at
your
own
pace.
There's
no
order
to
them,
so
you
can
go
wherever
you
like.
This
is
nice
if
someone
is
already
in
one
of
the
rooms.
Each
room
is
really
designed
to
be
Instagram
friendly
and
interactive.
My
favorites
were
the
sideways
room
and
one
with
a
fake
hole
that
was
really
just
paint.
I
thought
it
was
really
well
done.
It's
not
big
and
only
took
us
45
minutes
or
so
to
explore.
I
believe
they'll
be
rotating
the
rooms,
so
I'd
be
interesting
in
coming
back
when
they
do.
