    No respect for patients and their accompanying people. If the ambulance does not take emergency cases there, I never recommend there. Now that I am writing this, I am in hospital. Since 12 am until this moment that is 1 am , 13 hours .!!! And I am not sure how long more should I wait. All processes are that much slow that just for one x.ray had to wait 6 hours. I do not want to talk about the medical teams experience and competences, but really a patient should suffer 13 hours just to know if her hand is broken or not ? The patient accompanying person need to stay in yard, which is cold in winter, and they hardly inform you what is going one with your patient. The waiting environment is dirty and dangerous as you may see in the pictures and no body include the emergency crow , medical team respect the sign of no smoking ! Really a public hospital should be like this? It's a shame.

    Worst hospital ever! Over 4 hours of waiting time. Staff is unfriendly. I can’t stop bleeding and no one has call my name since my arrival. I came in by an ambulance and even like that, no one cares. The waiting room was disgusting! Full of pee and blood. Cleaning lady was pretending to be cleaning!! Not even to mention that the corridor has over 30 in beds, all next to each other. NOT COVID FRIENDLY AT ALL! Let me repeat. WORST HOSPITAL EVER!

    Worst hospital in Portugal. Why bother making an appointment if it is not respected. Most doctors and nurses should find another career. Unfriendly, disrespectful. Hospital is also very dirty.

    Do not have a baby here unless in an emergency and especially not if you are a foreigner because you will be treated horribly. My requests were ignored during birth and after and my perfectly healthy baby kept from me for many hours as i was pushed up against a hallway wall waiting for a bed in recovery. There were a few shift changes people simply forgot to bring me my child — for HOURS. The recovery ward was downright abusive so many horrible things happened I cannot even list — go elsewhere!!

I was in immergence care 1:00pm after 5hour 17min letter doctor attend me and he ask me for one test mistakenly his nurse took my another exem 30 min letter they realize and took the right one at 6:50pm now it’s time to wait morr the 7hour waiting for simple exam report Between this time ask every single person whan my trun will coming nobudy no about this Magical moment. Well i was thinking i am the only one who is waiting that much long but i was wrong most of tham come there before me one lady she there at 7am in the morning and she is was waiting there more than 15hour.     One of the worst exeprience I had in a hospital - I waited for 6h with my baby, the nurses were so rude and unfriendly, the hospital is simply dirty, old and disgusting. I really don't why we are paying so many taxes when I see hospital like this... It's a shame !

    Horrible. I’m not sure if this hospital is public or private. But seems like public but I had to pay a lot for an emergency. The service is terrible had a panic attack nurses are very unfriendly treat patient very bad. I was waiting in a wheelchair for 2 hours. The doctor was ok. What a terrible experience.     Great hospital with hard working personnel. They do an amazing job with what they have and I appreciate it. They work with old equipment and still the outcome is great. If something is wrong with the hospital don't blame the workers, the blame should be on the politicians filling their pockets while privatizng everything. Portugal is for the rich not the poor. To get good school, kindergarten healthcare etc you now have to pay where in reality it should be financed by the 30%tax you pay but no, let's build a new parking lot or roundabout. Not saying public is bad or expensive just the line to get the service for free is long due to underfunded.

    Not respond for patients.I visit 5 times with my same problem they just said me go to the centro I visit there because of emergency but they referred me saude.they don’t care what I am suffering for unbearable. They can check in there history how many time I visit with same thing but they never respond me they always ignoring me.very very bad experience in this hospital

    My husband was admitted to this hospital as a urology patient. Dr's were looking out for him from moment one. He ended up being transfered to hematology and was diagnosed with lymphoma. He was treated with such repect and care and the Dr's went to lengths to find a diagnosis for him.

    This is the worst Hospital in my life .The Urologist Doctor gave me harassment by asking so many nonsense questions and he has bad attitude .i had been referred from centro saude Almada that to visit Urologist .i have a epic pain in my left side of testicular and he checked it too and asked me that it’s paining or not. And i said now its not(because he pulled my testicular up and feel relax for a moment)and he decided its not paining thought that he act like it’s paining.pathetic and worst hospital..i am really disappointed by the doctor and hospital .

    It was a very beautiful memory. I was surfing in Caparica and unfortunately broke my toe. The doctors and nurses were all very kind. I love it here.

    I had to get picked up with severe kidney pain caused by a Crohn's flare. Arrived at the hospital at 14:21 and was discharged at 01:51. Upon arrival, I received an orange band due to the severity of my pain, but I was left in that pain until roughly half past 5 in the afternoon... 3 hours I was left in the exact same position as they picked me up in, all while sitting on a hard plastic chair for the entirety of my stay, which I also voiced I wasn't able to do due to obvious issues with sitting down that stem from Crohn's disease. I understand they were completely full, but at least offer your patients appropriate care and don't leave them in situations that will make their symptoms worse! The doctors and nurses were splendid and I can't fault them. They were working with what they had available to them and despite pressure were friendly and kind in manner. Secondly, I was meant to have a CT scan in the evening, which didn't occur until almost midnight, as nobody came to pick up the patients, turns out the person responsible for transporting patients simply did not turn up. When I had to go to the toilet, I was unable to lock the door as the handle was missing, the toilet didn't have a seat and there was urine all over the floor and it stank abnormally bad for a hospital which should be sanitary. And then I was slapped with a €307 bill and told my SNS number has no value here? Ok, so you're trying to tell me despite paying taxes, despite being part of the Portuguese health system and normally resident here, I am not entitled to free care? Right. Not a fan of the administration here.
