Wonderful venue at the heart of Bristol cultural life. Famous for its outstanding acoustics, as often heard on BBC Radio Three. We were glad to be back there last night for the welcome return of Exultate Choir and Bristol Ensemble performing their always-uplifting annual Christmas celebration.

Nice venue, not too big so more intimate experience with concert. Acoustics (sound) could have been a bit better, not sure if it's to do with the room itself or the setup of the amplification system. First time I have been to a concert here.

The venue is nicely refurbished and quite atmospheric. Offers a wide range of concerts, of various music genres. There's a bar area on the first level. The seating is not the most comfortable and sitting on the sides means a lot of neck stretching.

The venue has superb acoustics ,the seats aren't too uncomfortable. The stage is clearly visibility for 90 percent of the seating. Good cafe but wise to pre order if you're eating before a show. Photo shows Eddie Reader previous lead singer of Fairground Attraction she has a fantastic vocal range and a good range of songs and genres. Funny bright and very entertaining

Great venue and boasting an enormous extension since my last visit. The foyer and bar are now spacious and modern while the charm of the Chapel style space with the stage area remains. Good selection of bands and very easy to park nearby in College Green.

Went to a live music gig here. I thought the venue was fantastic. Modern, clean interior. Ticket desk on the left as you walk in. No queue there or for the bar. Friendly bar staff who impressively remembered our order at half-time. Seated throughout, apparently seats about 200 people in the main hall. Beautiful lighting. A civilised live music venue which supports really high quality, alternative artists. Highly recommend a visit.

Myself and my husband had our wedding celebration here and it was genuinely the most amazing day. The venue was beautiful, the whole team super friendly and organised and everything ran so smoothly. We love the cafe and would absolutely visit again. Thank you so much!

We went to watch a choir and orchestra here performing some famous classical pieces. It was a highly enjoyable evening! We were on the upper floor, roughly inline with the front of the stage. We had an excellent view but the wooden pew-like seating made it necessary to twist slightly, which got a little uncomfortable after an hour or so. Next time I would probably book seats further along so no twisting was necessary, or sit at the far end. The bar has a nice relaxed and open feel to it. A very nice experience all in all.

A superb music venue with wonderful acoustics, a great bar and restaurant, and modern, comfortable facilities. The world’s finest classical musicians have played here together with an interesting mix of folk, roots and country music from around the world. There is also poetry, Philosophy and other spoken word events. I recently attended spine tingling concerts by the Tallis Scholars and Ladysmith Black Mambazo as well joining in for community singing sessions. A beautiful building too with accessible access from Charlotte Street

Lovely little venue for a more intimate concert. Looks like it's a converted chapel of some denomination, so has kept the seated balcony as per its original use. Will try and get tickets for the main floor when I return.

Fantastic little venue hosting the more classical or unusual. Great bar area for one to wait before a performance.

The concert was wonderful but accessibility as a stick user was difficult. A wheelchair user would not be able to enter and navigate independently. Obviously it's a beautiful old building and like most old Bristol buildings, it isn't made with that in mind, but it is important to know.

Beautiful small concert venue in the heart of Bristol. It is a converted church and has fantastic acoustics.

Lovely venue but I would take a cushion if you're sitting in the gallery as the seats are quite deep and not that comfy for a shorter person.

Daniel Martinez....Art of Believing was stupendous!! Exciting, emotional very talented and Daniel was humbled by the audience appreciation. Wonderful, flamenco at its best and from the heart.

Historic chapel now makes a great music venue. Seats on the balcony are not the most comfortable, but good view.

Great venue, I saw Rob Bell here recently and a wedding the year before, both brilliant occasions, big enough to feel like a proper event but small enough to still feel intimate. The bar area /extension downstairs is also really nicely done.

Great venue....not enough tables and chairs outside for the afternoon live music...no where near enough staff behind the bar...some drinks a bit overpriced ...a very small wine for £6. Could be a great venue and they could afford to cheapen the drinks if they can sell them faster.. I could not be bothered to wait 20 mins to get a second round of drinks...

Wonderful performance from Red Carousel at St George's. Their music transcends any expectations & takes you into a wonderful space. The sound quality in the Glass Studio was excellent. St George's Hospitality Package was good value. It was our first concert since Covid-19. We were all wearing masks & it felt very safe with plenty of ventilation & socially-distanced seating. The evening was perfect. Looking forward to coming back to St George's soon.
