Excellent time gorge scrambling on Tuesday, instructor Paul was professional and very funny, super way to spend an afternoon!

What fun we had!!! Dave took a group of us paintballing and it was excellent. Brilliant woodland setting and Dave made it so much fun. Would definitely highly recommend for any groups wanting an outdoor adventure. You will not be disappointed in the standard of equipment, quality of instruction and there will be lots of fun thrown in!!! You might even get to meet Quakers the Duck. Thank you xx

Had a genuinely fantastic time at adventure 21 from start to finish. Ketty was amazing at putting together a really enjoyable day for us at such short notice ( we rang at 8am and we were doing our first activity by 9:10am, though I'd recommend booking to avoid disappointment). We did the archery and rifle shooting and had a fantastic time. Ketty and Dave were professional, funny and let us vary how we did the air rifle shooting to what suited our group best. All in all it was a genuinely fantastic time and would 100% recommend adventure 21 to anyone who wants a fun filled day in coniston and I'll definitely be rebooking next time I'm in the area. Oh and can't forget quackers the duck, star of the show.

It felt like a truly personalized experience. It being just the two of us resulted in us having an entire day to learn new things with Dave, practice to our heart's content and compete with each other. We started the day off meeting Dave's lovely duck named Daphne followed by warm up exercises and lessons on keeping ourselves healthier going forward. Soon after, we got into archery during which we were taught the basics with personalised tips for improvement along the way. Got plenty of time after to practice to better ourselves after which we started a fun competition between the two of us to see who'd fare better. Dave made it a point to keep the scores to himself to keep it interesting. We then got into axe throwing and rifle shooting after, which were fun stress busters. Same pattern of training, improving, practicing and competing followed for each activity. Dave was such a champ through it all. He ensured we were safe and looked after while being a master at work with the training and photographing. We also tried canoeing the next day and it was a pleasant experience too but would prefer a less windy day to try it again.

We did raft building with Adventure 21 as a hen do activity and I couldn't recommend them enough. We all had such a great time and everyone was able to get involved. Aaron and Louis were so up beat and kept us laughing throughout the day, they were pretty good photographers too 😉... I would definitely recommend Adventure 21 to anyone wanting to try something adventurous in the Lakes!

Me and my partner booked in for a morning activity of gorge scrambling and canyoning and what an experience it was. We had a great laugh and enjoyed the little games our instructor Paul had us do. Paul also explained things and showed us the safest routes to take he was very friendly and patient towards us. We also appreciated the photos Paul took while on the experience. I would 100% recommend this activity.

Brilliant morning gorge scrambling and canyoning. Started off meeting at the lake which was easy to find paul took us to the changing room where we got changed into clean and dry wetsuits. We then had a short walk uk to the beginning of the gorge which wasn't as cold as I thought it was going to be, we scrambled up the river, swimming in pools and climbing up waterfalls which was amazing. The last bit was the canyoning where we were pushed out of our comfort zone jumping off and sliding down rocks into deep pools which I'm so glad I eventually pushed myself to do. Paul was very friendly and patient with us would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a great energetic morning out.

What a day!- certainly one we will remember for a long time. Dave was the best host anyone could ask for! We were spoilt with activities due to being a small group and he went out of his way to make us feel at ease, even took an abundance of photos for us. The surroundings and views from the lake were beautiful. Great value for money! Also have to say thank you to Ketty who was ever so helpful with our booking over the phone- much appreciated! It was such a fun experience! Me and my friend did aqauaseiling. Paul and Dave were awesome and made us feel comfortable even though we were both very nervous to give it a try! It was such a great activity to do - I would definitely recommend 😊

7 of us participated in a spot of Archery and Rifle shooting which was great fun. The day was made by our host Dave, what a great guy. If I closed my eyes I would of thought it was Paddy O'Shea 😂 what an asset to Adventure 21. Would definitely recommend.

What a fantastic afternoon! We spent the afternoon in the shade of the mountains and trees (under the watchful eye of some baby pheasants) shooting arrows and firing guns! Dave and Kety are the most welcoming couple who made us feel at ease and at home. The tuition was thorough and after some guidance, we were all able (ages 50, 45, 12 & 10) to hit our targets even though we were all new to archery and rifle shooting. I cannot recommend Adventure 21 highly enough, they are brilliant!

We had a really great morning adventure Ghyll walking and canyoning with our guide Paul. We were lucky to be the only people in our early morning group on a Friday (not school holidays) so had some extra time with our guide to do more big jumps and slides. All the equipment we needed was provided, we just had to bring swimwear, a synthetic t-shirt ( I would recommend for under the wetsuit), hiking trainers and a change of clothes for afterwards. A wetsuit, jacket, trousers, buoyancy aid and helmet were provided. The water was quite chilly even on a hot day in June so the wetsuits were very much needed! We walked up the river, climbing up waterfalls and taking a dip in some pools, then at the top was a slide and some big jumps (optional) to get that adrenaline hit! Paul was a great guide and it was great value for money too. He took pictures for us along the way and sent them over the same afternoon. We would recommend to anyone staying in the lake district wanting a bit of a different adventure!

We have just completed the Gorge walking. Our guide was called Col, who was fun, informative and very patient! We had a fantastic few hours, we all laughed such a lot. Found the adrenaline was pumping and photos that the guide later sent were genuinely fantastic too. Would highly re recommend 👌

Absolutely loved it!! Ive had such a positive experience with adventure 21. Prior to booking, I was so unsure what to book especially as we were only in the Lake District for a day. I had 2 relatives coming from abroad and I really wanted to make sure they had a good time. But after speaking to Ketty who was so lovely, she advised canoeing in the morning and then gorge scrambling & canyoning in the afternoon. And what can I say?! Everything has been so well organised and instructors Dave and Paul so lovely, so easy going and fun. Both activities were so amazing and nothing like the activities weve done before. I have been to the Lake District before - but this time was very different. I would definitely recommend!! Thank you Dave, Paul and Ketty for making sure we all had an amazing time.

Great day out with the lads at Adventure21, cracking set up and lots of good craic. Paint balling, archery, shooting and axe throwing are just some of their activities on offer. All good fun.

Top notch instructors, you'll have a good laugh no matter what activity you do.

On Saturday we spent the day with Dave and Arran from adventure21 for my friends hen party. From booking right through to the day of the activities I can't recommend them highly enough. I spoke quite a few times with Kety on the phone to sort numbers and get everything booked, she even called the day before to check everything was ok and make sure I knew what time we needed to arrive. She was super helpful throughout! On the day we were greeted by Dave and Arron who took us to a nearby feild for a morning of archery and rifle shooting. They both made the whole experience so much fun and gave each member of our group help individually when we needed it. After lunch we spend the afternoon canoe orienteering which was also brillient and with their guidance we all really enjoyed ourselves. They were both so friendly and helpful I really can't thank them enough for making our day!

Absolute quality day spent with Dave and Kety for Woodland Target Shooting. Would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a group activity day

Afternoon of gorge scrambling and canyoning for a stag doo. The whole process was done well. The initial booking was easy and the staff were very accommodating. On the day Paul was excellent as a guide and Quackers is a brilliant mascot. The experience was amazing and definitely value for money. Wouldn't hesitate to book through Adventure 21 again.

Went gorge scrambling, and also did archery and rifle shooting on a pal's stag weekend. Had an incredible time. All well organised ans great fun. Terrific banter from Paul, while also been patient and professional. Would 100% recommend.

Great routes for the Scrambling, Paul was funny, laid back and experienced and it showed. Highly recommend this company and Paul made the day very enjoyable 😉

Firstly i want to think Big Dave, This weekend we had a stag doo at the paintballing and Big Dave (our nick name for dave) couldn't be more helpful but also couldn't be more apart of the lads . The moment we arrived Dave was welcoming and fun, he put us all at ease and let us have the best time possible. Dave joined in with the laughs and really is a credit to the team.
