I have been taking my children to Stoker's for a number of years and we always receive wonderful care and advice. Abi is wonderful and makes it a really fun experience - the children really look forward to going. Recently I was able to access a same day appointment when I was concerned about some headaches my daughter was experiencing. Stoker's went out of their way to accommodate us at short notice and provided excellent advice about next steps. I would highly recommend this opticians.

Stokers is definitely the place for our family! They have been there for us not only for routine eye exams, and getting new glasses but also during times of emergencies. Abby is brilliant, caring, explains things in a manner that is easily understood and is always there to help. Hilary and Phil are real assets to Stokers. They go above and beyond to give the service you need. AND Stokers has a safe lovely atmosphere! We won’t be going anywhere else!!

Friendly and professional practice. Have been a customer for many years and have always found the staff really helpful, responsive and attentive. Appointment are never rushed and the opticians always have time to explain everything.

Absolutely amazing service and as this was the first time I’ve been to Stoker Opticians I will definitely stay with them. I was very impressed with the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. Chris the optician was extremely kind, patient and very thorough with my test. He advised me on the choice of lenses and offered to check if they could put the new lenses into my current frames as he thought they may be compatible. However they had such a fantastic choice of frames I opted for a new set as well as having my old ones reglazed as sunglasses. After spending a while choosing the very stylish frames ( no pressure but again everyone was very helpful) I thought I’d lost my purse!! I hoped I’d dropped it in/near the car (fortunately I had) but before I went to look, Phil (the dispensing optician) gave me a pound to renew the parking so I wouldn’t incur a charge and then wouldn’t contemplate taking it back when I returned to measure up for my frames. I cannot recommend the overall experience and first class service enough.

I've been going to Stoker's Opticians for 30 years, and it still has the feel of a family business. The staff are friendly and very helpful: they always make you feel welcome. I have the highest regard for their skills: several years ago they picked up on an eye condition which required laser treatment; I'm so grateful they found this. A "proper" opticians - a small team that feels like the customer is the priority. Moved from a high St Chain to Stoker and have been very safely and carefully guided through age related eye issues with great support to a very good outcome. Oh - and great glasses stocked too!
