Was here with a group of people. I am a veteran and know how to be respectful to a cemetery. We were all parked on the side of the road, and we were standing together quietly. A black woman came up to us and started yelling at us and told us to go immediately. Made some guy call 911. We'd had previous permission from the manager to be there as long as we parked on one side of the road. She didn't care, wouldn't even acknowledge us as adults. Just kept yelling to call 911 to some guy that didn't even work there, then wouldnt talk at all when we tried to talk to her. We had children with us and she was unprofessional, rude, ignorant. If I was the manager, I would fire her for what she did. We did NOTHING wrong. I can tell you now that I wouldn't have anyone buried in this cemetery if that's how they treat guests. Edit: spoke with a few friends and they also said they spoke to the female manager and she said as long as we were not disruptive or disrespectful then we were fine. The unprofessionalism provided by this woman had me shaking with anger. SHE was the disrespectful one. I was teaching my five year old of the sanctity and honor we provide our dead and fallen and she came to us like this. I will make sure I tell everyone what type of cemetery this is.

It is an old cemetery. Still has burial sites but it's getting crowded in there. My grandparents as well as my aunt and uncle are at rest there. My grandfather's plaque was obviously hit by a mower or something that curled the edge and it has been like that for a long time. They obviously don't repair any damage they cause....

My mother passed away in September of 2017 I wanted to bury my parents together. I had his ashes since 1997 my father was military so there fore they were going to handle his plot. I was told to get a copy of his DD214 and a copy of the obituary and I brought it down there long before my mother passed away, I just wanted to make sure everything was handled before my mother's death. Grandview called my house on a Friday and said your father plot has arrived and has been installed so that Sunday on my way back from church I stopped by because it was close to Christmas and needless to say they had the wrong date of death my father died on 9/10/1997 they had it on the stone 9/8/2012 I would say that is a significant difference needless to say I was livid on the flip-side though I understand that people make mistakes. I called Valerie who evidently runs the place and she told me she will see what she can do since it was the VA"S fault well I signed a something that I thought was just the OK for the plot to be done and unfortunately nothing was explained to me, I said to her do you really think I would have signed off on that with the dates wrong well she asked me to come down and speak with her on December 22nd 2017 about this. I went there at about 3:00 pm and she was extremely busy with grieving families and being the kind of person that I am I did not want to create a scene although I was still grieving myself said I will come back another time and Valerie said we will get together next week, well next week came and I did not hear from her so I called and spoke with Amber on a Tuesday and she let me know Valerie was on vacation and I said don't you all think you should let me know something it is now January 9th 2018 and I still haven't heard a word. What a disgrace this has been for my family. I am wondering if they will get my mothers right. I would suggest that do your homework on this place before you lay a loved one in there it is very obvious to me that they do not care about your feelings just about that mighty dollar

Valarie Reilly was so understanding and patient while we were going through the surprise dead of my son. She was very knowledgeable in the steps we needed to take. Happy

It is kept neat. The wind sometimes blows the flowers off of the mosoleum. It is a quiet place to put your loved ones to rest. The staff are good to work with.

We have multiple generations of our family laid to rest here. I was extremely disappointed to see the grounds, trees, statuary, and landscaping in such poor condition when I visited today. The Good Shepherd section is particularly poorly kept. Families have entrusted their loved ones to this business for years. It doesn’t seem that this very personal matter was placed in capable hands.

I have multiple family members and friends that are laid to rest here and I am very disappointed in the way that Grandview has let the lawn care go down. From grass not being cut around the marker and covering up the marker, also tire marks from the lawnmower on the markers, and leaving the grass covering the marker. Also all the geese and geese poop everywhere. Something really needs to be done.
