An amazing house in a beautiful setting. Paul and Alan are fantastic hosts and we were given a very warm welcome. The breakfast was wonderful with a great selection to suit all tastes. An easy walk downhill to the centre of Rye - uphill on the way back obviously but if I can manage it then most people can! The rooms are beautiful and a lot of thought and care has obviously gone into making them special including a bowl of fruit and fresh flowers on arrival. We spent a wonderful few days here and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone who wants a peaceful break in beautiful surroundings.

Paul and Alan have made Saltcote a truly memorable place to stay. My husband and I celebrated our 27th Wedding Anniversary here and what a delight it was. Never have we felt so welcomed into a place, the views were amazing, the breakfast was 1st class and the little touches we just loved. Could have stayed forever!! Thank you both for a perfect stay and being such wonderful hosts.

Absolutely fabulous house, gardens, views, rooms and service. Paul and Alan, the hosts, could not have done more to ensure we had everything we needed, their attention to detail, conversation and breakfast offering is first class. Very quiet too despite being minutes from the centre of Rye. Would highly recommend!

What an amazing place to stay! Made even better by the very entertaining and attentive hosts Paul and Alan. Beautiful rooms, spectacular views, best ever breakfast in the magnificent kitchen. A pub with superb meals at the end of the drive. What more could you want. Would definitely like to stay here again.

We could not have been more pleased with our stay at Saltcote Place. The hosts, Paul and Allen, went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. They gave us great tips on things to do in the area and made sure we had everything we needed. The room was clean and spacious, with a beautiful view. Breakfast was delicious and we even enjoyed a glass of bubbles. We really felt like we were able to relax and enjoy our time here. We will definitely be back!

We stayed at Saltcote for 2 nights for a romantic winter getaway and boy were we left with our hearts full. Paul and Alan are delightful hosts who go down to the most minute detail to try and enhance the luxe factor of your trip. From perfectly crafted breakfast complemented with bubbles to nightcaps left at your doorstep the whole trip was a dream. That, coupled with the warmth and wittiness of our hosts set this place apart from others. The house is also very accomodating, rooms comfortable, amenities exact to specs and location a stone throw away from Rye town centre. We will be thinking about this stay for years to come.
