I think this is the fifth time we have been to the cheese festival and it's always a good day out. As well as the various cheeses and other food products there are some great craft gins and vodkas to sample and a lot of crafts to browse. Lots to enjoy including food, drink and ice cream plus a beer tent with local ales and live music. Have I sold it to you yet 😁

We had a lovely trip to this festival, this was the 2nd year we had attended, the big long tents were filled with cheese, gin, all sorts and a toasted sandwich stall which I enjoyed! The beer tent had good ale and I guess good cider. Nice shady trees out the back for picnics!

We visited on Sunday and had a wonderful day. Plenty to see and do - great cheeses and produce to try. Live music all day - amazing atmosphere - a big thank you to all those involved in organising such a great event. We will be back!

Once again the Sturminster Newton cheese festival is an absolute winner...even in this heat. Plenty of parking and lovely spaced stalls. Plentiful drink and food (shout out to the Greek Souvlaki stall, the wait was absolutely worth it...yummy!! Next year, please more places with shade and squash drinks for kids.

Another great event run by the community for the community. Excellent food produce, not just cheese. Some great crafts on display too. If you're planning to go next year think about buying entry online to save a few pennies. However, proceeds go to support local charities etc. Well done the organisers 👍

Day got off to a bad start. Marshall directed us to the disabled parking area to find no other Marshall there parked behind another car marshall eventually came over as about to leave car being rather rude saying you can't park there I'm telling you you can't park there explained to him that no one was there but got even more stroppy. Other than that a very good day, could of done with more shaded areas instead of just the one

Always a great day at the cheese festival. £8 for a whole day of food, fun for the kids, great local alcohol and music. Highly recommend this to anyone, if you don't like the music you can wander the tents and sample foods from cheese, fish, crackers, olives, venison, charcuterie, fudge, chocolate, cider etc etc etc All local and very yummy. It is well organised, very low key and prices are reasonable (what festival nowadays can you water or a can of pop for £1 and pints for £4!!!) Toilets and welfare well done and to top it off, there is also a craft area. Free parking right by it all too.

We really enjoyed our visit to the festival. It was well covered, very popular and busy. We got some great crafts as well as tasty cheeses.
