As a single female traveler for work this is an amazing place to stay, just tell the manager and female bar manager you are travelling alone and they have your back! left my drink behind the bar with female bar manager whilst I went to my room (didn’t feel confident leaving it at my table) locals very welcoming (I love a chat) and will also leave you alone if that whats you prefer…rooms 5***** beautifully presented, BBC if your looking for more than a commercial I’ve stayed here a 5000 times purple then come and see what’s on offer, you won’t be disappointed!

We stayed here in our campervan (free in the car park). The staff couldn't have been more delightful when I phoned ahead and asked if we could stop for the night. We had some amazing food in a lovely atmosphere and a good night's sleep. Strongly recommend this pub for a drink, meal or stay

Very nice b and b - modern, clean rooms and comfy bed. The pub offers really good pub grub - simple but very good. Possibly the best pear and almond tart I've ever tasted!! Good selection of food for breakfast and, again, well cooked.

Booked for lunch midweek (definitely need to book - it's popular) had a lovely lunch, good food and a good size portion. Fairly typical pub food prices. Nice atmosphere and decor, staff were attentive and polite. Will be returning for definite.

I booked a last minute stay for me and the family (Fiancé & two children under 3) Upon arrival, their carpark (Across a small side road) was large and had plenty of spaces. Room 8 was the family room, huge beds and plenty of space. Room was absolutely spotless and well equipped. I really appreciated the hosts putting a stack of Children's books in for my kids. Really nice touch. Check in was totally painless, shown to room and how to operate the array of air conditioning and heating panels (Which was another great touch) We booked a table for dinner (This is essential as they fill up fast) Menu was simple and accessible, nice amount of choices of locally sourced ingredients. I opted for the Fish and Chips, my partner had the Steak & Ale pie. Both were absolutely fantastic (and good value) the restaurant were kind enough to go off-menu to facilitate what my children would eat, which isn't something many places will do. The Pub was highly decorated in CAMRA Awards, their Ale choice was well thought out, all (and I had a few few) of my drinks were fantastic. Breakfast next morning surpassed expectations, continental options as well as a Full English - high quality and the lady who took our order even gave us a Banana from her lunchbox for my son who really wanted a Banana. What an Angel! Overall, I would highly recommend staying at The Crossways Inn, definitely book a table in the restaurant for dinner too - all staff were well presented, friendly and knowledgeable. They made us feel very welcome and we'd definitely return. Thanks!

Regretted the steak and ale pie as mostly pastry, with congealed gravy, and the chips were the powdery frozen type with no texture or flavour. The two pieces of vegetable were OK. Suffered with stomach pains and heartburn all night afterwards. Very expensive mistake.

One of the best camper stopovers. Fantastic range of real ales, very friendly staff, great food. Large flat car park opposite and just off M5.

Lovely looking place, nice interior & ambiance.locals realky made us feel welcome, thanks to all the company on our table 🌈Shared a day here with friends and family after funeral,we travelled to attend from a fair distance and were in need of some food around 8pm only to be asked if we'd booked a table and that they were at full capacity " lots of unused tables" ? Asked if snack food available like 4 basket of chips before travelling home only to be totally ignored.☹

Beautiful little homely pub, staff were brilliant. My friends, myself and my young daughter were catered too. Staff were very endearing and approachable to my daughter and I. All in all a very satisfying place.

This was a most welcoming Bed and Breakfast with friendly and attentive staff from the moment we arrived. The rooms were very clean and beds very comfy. A good selection of meals on the menu, and if you stay on a Monday, you may catch the awesome pizza wagon in the car park! Short drive to Wookey Hole and Cheddar Gorge.

I highly recommend the Crossways Inn, for dinner and / or an overnight stay. Booked last minute, direct which gave a 10% discount. Welcomed by Jaz who was super friendly and helpful. Exactly the kind of person you want front-of-house. Pub busy on a Tuesday night and I had a great steak dinner. Next morning I enjoyed a delicious cooked breakfast and fresh coffee, all served by another very friendly and efficient lady. Why not 5 stars? Very thin room walls and traffic noise disturbed my sleep, and a powercut affected the boilers so there was no hot water (not the pub's fault). Will definitely stay there again though. Great place.

Not stayed over, only eaten at pub, but food is amazing and good value, staff always really friendly. The first place we go to when we want a nice meal out.

Really homely and comfortable accommodation. The room was very well presented and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The food in the Inn was exceptional... and the full cooked breakfast really set us up for the day! The location was perfect for exploring the area, or just popping down to the beach at Burnham.

Lovely food, we like eating in the bar area rather than the back room. Friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. Would highly recommend.

A fantastic location for us for visiting Brean Down and Burnham on Sea. There's loads of parking, the rooms are lovely and the staff make you feel welcome and comfortable. Breakfast was great. Anyone with a food allergy rest assured you will be looked after.

Raw fish in the fish and chips. Did not complain as staff appeared to be very busy. I do not think they would have handled the feedback very well. Smelly gents. Good parking. Not the best experience. I think they were just too busy that day to shine properly. A shame really that it was so bad. We did not stay in the B&B. Dog friendly though. Jess enjoyed it better than I did.

A great couple of nights stay. The beds were comfortable and the rooms quite sizable and well appointed for the price. Bathroom was clean and had a mist-free mirror, which was a nice touch. Breakfast was excellent, with a good choice for meat eaters and veggies alike. Staff were friendly and extremely helpful - we muddled up who was staying in which room and when - they sorted it out for us with a minimum of fuss. Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed for 1 night in May in a motor home in the car park. Plenty of room with easy access.Phoned before hand to check. Staff welcoming and friendly. The food was excellent with a good, varied menu. A "Camra" pub with a beer garden and childrens' play area. Also rooms available as it is also a hotel. Enjoyed it that much we stayed on the way back home as well ! Excellent.

I have stayed here on two occasions whilst working away in Bridgwater and Burnham-on-Sea and it is so refreshing to stay somewhere like the Crossways Inn. It's ideally located between the two locations. Both the room and en suite are spacious, modern and very clean. Food is delicious with generous portions, at a great price. The Macaroni Cheese is out of this world, best I've ever had! The Highlight of this place is the staff, every staff member that works here is a delight and delivers fantastic service, from the breakfast team, bar staff and those on food service. It's so refreshing to see so many people working here have taken the time to learn my name, check everything is okay with my stay and you can have a laugh with them. Everyone has gone above and beyond to make me feel welcome and settled. I'll be sure to book here next time I am in the area. Thank you all, again.

We have stayed here several times and always been satisfied with every part of the experience. The staff can’t do enough to help guests and the food is lovely. The rooms are spotless as is the rest of the pub.

We stayed over just one night, to attend a family event. It was just perfect. From the warm welcome to the palaver of getting home and realising we had left things behind, they were so attentive and kind. The breakfast was delicious, I haven’t eaten bacon like that for a long time. The room had everything we could need, safe, iron and ironing board, hairdryer etc and the bed was huge and comfy. The en-suite was small and perfectly formed. We will keep the details for another time when visiting the area. Thank you guys, thou were Brilliant!

The only reason to mark down slightly is the creaky noise of next doors shower going, but given the total experience it's still a five from us. Staff incredible, the room (No. 6) was fantastic for the price. The bar was really cozy, with an open fire and a fantastic array of beers to choose from. Food was tasty too. Breakfast was also really good, the lady hosting us was very welcoming and had an amazing energy, not asked for was too much. Highly recommended.

Gorgeous room! from somone who owes a successful cleaning company I know clean and the rooms where at the higest level of clean. Staff where welcoming and helpful. Morning breakfast fresh and well cooked. Easy location to find. Within driving distance to some of the west's breath taking views and beaches. Was a little bit skeptical about it being a pub but it's off to the side with its own entrance and exit and it was very quiet wasn't disturbed by it at all. Highly recommended 5 star.

Stayed here for 1 night with our puppy. Lovely welcome, room very clean and big on the ground floor near fire exit so the dog could go outside during the night. Saturday night entertainment was loads of fun with a packet out pub. Breakfast was very nice. Nothing was too much trouble.
