This was our (3 people)first escape room experience and what a great one at that! We chose the Motel California room, which is a good choice if you've never done an escape room before. Our host Roo was amazing and explained the scenario well. The room itself was very well set up, the complex clues were fun to do and I would definitely recommend everyone to give it a try!

Nicely located on high street, Chatham. A place to get yourself into another world (room) to solve puzzles. I enjoyed the Citizen escape game with my family (2 adults and 2 kids), good time for team work and family bonding. The staff was friendly, they welcomed us nicely, explained what to expect and how to get clues, get help or get out if necessary at any point. I’ll defo go back to play, and perhaps try another room for a different adventure.

Fantastic escape room! My partner and I attempted Aftermath and we both had a great time. Our host was super friendly and really added to our experience. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

Went to hysteria for our work Xmas do 8 players taking in the room AFTERMATH! Charlotte was our host and was friendly, informative and all round bubbly character. We will be back and try and escape another room with hopefully more than 33 seconds left to spare .

We went along as a team building exercise (and for a bit of fun!) and did the Aftermath zombie game. It was challenging but great fun and Roo was brilliant, in particular!

I went to this escape room this evening with some friends who are part of a support group. We really enjoyed the escape room and would like to go back and try one of the other rooms. The puzzles were really fun and Charlotte who ran the room for us was brilliant and was really interactive and gave us lovely feedback after the game. We played Aftermath with 5 of us and really enjoyed it and we are hoping to go back again to try one of the other rooms soon. Thank you.

After doing Motel California a few weeks ago, we decided to give Aftermath a go. Our host for the experience was Roo, who was a very welcoming and helpful host. The experience was great and pushed us to our limits. We only played as a pair, but could have done with a few more players so we were not as pushed for time! Would recommend any of the Escape rooms.

So much fun! Highly recommend. I’ve been to their other escape room at Fort Amherst which was so well done, so thought we’d try another one here. Six of us did Aftermath and it was a lot of fun. The host was great and explained it well to us all and was helpful with clues when needed. Highly recommend, great fun activity for all!

We have done many escape rooms but this one really did challenge us and we had so much fun trying to work out the clues and puzzles. Ours was set in space and it was just an overall fun experience. We came out with a massive smile on our faces. The kids loved it and wanted to do more. We will be back. Highly recommended for all the family.

If I could give this 100 stars I would. I thought it would be impossible to beat the cabin game which is the first room in the series but I was proved completely wrong. These rooms keep getting better and better. We had a fantastic time. Excellent, well thought out and unique puzzles. Our hosts Charlotte and Bradley were incredible hosts and made our night so much fun. It's great to see hosts who clearly love the game as much as we did! A massive thank you to them and to the game creator. We can't wait for more games to come and play!

Went with family members to play the zombie escape. The host, not sure what her name was, (blonde woman), was absolutely fantastic. She made us feel incredibly comfortable, she was the nicest person. Our experience could not have been better! 10/10 recommed!

This place is great....Scarlett was our host and looked after us both. We just finished the Hotel California room with 35 seconds to go! Great fun.

We went for the Christmas escape room as it was the season. The lovely lady who gave us the demo (I’m sorry I couldn’t recall her name) explained the rules with such detail and was so friendly. Would definitely come back, 11/10 experience. Oh and the karaoke at the end was fun :D

A few years ago I did a panic room in Gravesend which really was rubbish and had no interest in doing one again. I came here with my wife and kids because they wanted to do it, I didn't. I was glad I did! This was excellent! Charlotte was our host and was absolutely lovely. The room was a "Motel room" and was excellently made. The clues were mid range difficult and got you working as a team. the 4 of us thoroughly enjoyed it and would definitely visit there again! Highly recommended!!!

We went to the one in Rochester for mine and my cousins birthday. It was so much fun we done the aftermath one and there was 4 of us doing the escape room. We all enjoyed how the room was done and the staff were fantastic especially Nikki. Definitely going back to do another room soon. Think we have found our new date nights, way better than going cinema or bowling! Thanks for a great night, be back soon

Great escape rooms and exceptional value for money. Staff are brilliant and offer the right amount of help ant the right time. If looking for some thing to do in the area would highly recommend hysteria.

We did citizen erased, in a good time. Really friendly staff and really well thought out room. Our host, Bradley gave us hints at the right times, really fun and exciting.

Fantastic escape rooms both here and at the new sister company Unsolved Mysteries at Fort Amherst. We did Motel California and Citizen Erased and both were excellent and a great compliment to each other. Great theming, excellent puzzles including some elements we hadn’t seen before and brilliant flow. So much fun! The owners are lovely and helpful and the host Roo was great. We’ll be back!

Awesome escape room. Especially the cabin. I've done 80 escape rooms and this is easily my second favourite room. Really friendly staff.

Played the cabin really good game I have played over 100 escape rooms and this one is in my top 3 , the host rob and scarlet are fantastic. And the location really good it’s in the castle.

Brilliant escape room on Chatham highstreet at a really decent price! We had Roo as our games master, he is a brilliant asset to the Hysteria Escape Rooms team, he is friendly, more than happy to help, great at giving advice in which rooms to do next that would be suited to us, all round great customer service. We did Aftermath, a great escape room that's well set out with some new challenges that we haven't yet seen before. Will soon be back to complete all the games at Hysteria!!

My friends and I played the 'Aftermath' game. I have to say it was one of the best I've done. Thoroughly interactive with plenty of things to do. It kept us all busy and challenged us till the end (we got out in time). I would definitely recommend and will be trying out the other games in the future.

Really enjoyed our time at Hysteria :) Host was really friendly + fun to talk to. The room that we did was challenging, but very logical. Have been to other places where the rooms can become frustrating by design, but not the case at Hysteria. Only negative is the pricing at about £100 for 4 people, we finished in half an hour, so not great value for money. Although I do appreciate that the rooms need to be set-up between sessions, and you're paying for an attendant etc.

Awesome experience; amazing theme, a great room atmosphere and interesting challenges. Skittles, our host gave us enough hints to keep us moving forward (we asked her to ahead of the game) and made our anniversary fun and special. We'll be back to try the next rooms in the future for sure!
