Stupidly expensive food, just expensive for the sake of being expensive. Sainsbury's food is just as good quality and a lot better priced. £4 for a basic sandwich that's probably made in the same factory as all the other supermarkets? Waitrose supermarkets exist in places where people like to think that they are a little posher than they really are, Billericy is a fantastic example

Coffee has gone up again so will now just go to Costa's at least after buying 6 cups you get a free one. No incentive for the customer.

Thankfully the snow is safely gone! Perhaps they're having supply difficulties - many shelves lightly stocked. But staff are all pleasant & cheerful.

Livid. Bought some bits in Waitrose, as i do regularly, including some cocktail sausages, and after my 2 year old daughter had been eating them all day and had got to to the bottom of the package, I noticed that they are infested with maggot larvae! I Went in the store visibly distressed. Obviously as a mother - it was very upsetting for me to think that my child has been eating these all day and I would have hoped that the store would have at least cared a little bit? I understand they have limited powers in these things but instead of any sympathy, some very rude ignorant stuck up woman behind the customer service desk totally looked down her nose on me and then tried to tell me they was mustard seeds?! 😂 (which can I just add, are black, so she’s obviously not the most intelligent person in the world like she was making out to be!) (see photo of product) I have now lodged a formal complaint with head office as the store wasn’t even sorry, didn’t really care about my daughters health and basically just looked at me like I was crazy for being upset about this? I will not be leaving this.

We are used now to the clean and well managed grocery shopping only because we have waitrose near to our house

I bought a couple of gift cards for my grandchildrens birthdays from this store. They were One 4 All cards and paid £20 on each card at the checkout. When my daughter in law tried to spend the cards online she found out that one of the cards hzs no money on it even though I have the receipt that proves I paid the money. She tried to resolve this with Waitrose and One 4 All but got no help from either. It now transpires that One4All have deducted finally agreed to add money to the card but have reduced by £7.50 off the £20 card value that I paid for. Either Waitrose or One 4 All do the right thing and give me what I paid for and give me back my £7.50 that O am owed. Be wary about buying gift cards from this store.

Billericay has a large and well stocked Waitrose, but it does sometimes run out of popular seasonal items. Great selection of organic foods.

It's Waitrose! Typically clean, well stocked and great service; but a few dodgy pieces of veg of late.. And some self service tills out of order, So dropped a star

No takeaway cups for coffee? How hard is it to order some cardboard cups in. Lady at the service desk rude and useless. If you stay over two hours apparently there is absolutely nothing they can do about the parking fine even if you’ve spent the whole time shopping at Waitrose and drinking your coffee you couldn’t takeaway. Lady was just like you have to pay it bye. Not great. Also the obvious one of it being stupidly expensive but that’s nothing this specific branch can change.

Always treated as a valued customer here. For example I pickled up a 6 pack of canned drinks and a member of staff spotted it was dripping and picked up another one from the shelf, pointed out the problem and swapped it for me. So rather than get home to find the car boot wet and one damaged can he saved this inconvenience. Thanks for having such great staff! This is why it's been my primary supermarket for 20 years now.

Staff have no clue! When you go pick up collection from ordering it from Waitrose the staff have no clue how to go get it they just panicking and questioning you if I have got it wrong keep telling me it John Lewis when I clearly said I ordered from Waitrose and show them my order. I think some training needs to be done with this as it doesn’t look good

A well laid out good "quality store". Some items can be more expensive than other supermarkets but other can be better value and worth checking out. Signing up for "My Waitrose" app gives exclusive discounts and free tea or Costa coffee each time you buy something. Helpfull/ friendly staff & good car park.

Left 2 fresh soups behind yesterday evening, called and spoke to Hannah, who advised would write on the book for customer services desk to pick up today, colleague kindly let me have them, brilliant service!! Thank you
