This is for anyone wanting to do their student CNA program. I’ve been arriving to class 30 mins to no later than 15 mins. I’ve been listening making A’s and one B on the tests, and have been participating. I was more than half way through the class and either my alarm wasn’t working right on my phone, or possibly in my sleep hit snooze. Regardless, I was running 30 mins behind and I called my instructor to ask if It was okay to attend class because we were told not to be late but also were told that our instructor made an exception for another person before. I was told I had to restart the class and that I couldn’t come in that day. They complain about not having people to work for the facility, yet they make it so hard to even pass a class??? I understand it’s my responsibility to be on time, and mistakes happen, surely they don’t tell their employees not to come in when they are running behind? I don’t think so. Plus they do NOT pay for your hours you need to have for your cna certification when you go over to work in the building dealing on with resident. There are other places that do pay you for your time. How do I know? I’ve called other places, oh and I’ve found out that other places also give you at least ONE free day incase you mess up or an emergency comes up! So I will NOT ever work for them or bother retaking their classes. I tried calling Pamela to talk to her about what happened and she never returned my calls. NHC already seems like a horrible place to work for. “We’re like family”, yeah family who give up on people too easily, and family who pick sides as to who they help, and who they don’t.

Have been working for NHC Rossville for 3 1/2 years. The residents are my family away from home. They have been with me having 2 little boys and are always thrilled when the boys come to visit. I love the people I work with, otherwise I would not make the 45 min drive one way to work. I look forward to many years to come.

I am nurse for NHC Rossville, I've been an employee going on 8 years. We have an amazing staff that genuinely cares for our residents. Our residents become our family. I'm very proud to be apart of the NHC family and I would definitely recommend this facility to my family and friends.

I am a nurse at NHC Rossville and I absolutely love working here. I work the rehab and the long term care sides. The staff is amazing with their patient care and professionalism. The care and compassion I see everyday I would definately recommend my family and friends, also the public to come let us care for needs. The rehab department is by far the best I've seen. Your family becomes our family. I feel honored to be apart of such and amazing staff and company.

I love working at NHC. I've been here almost two months, and it's a learning experience for me. I love everyone in dietary and the other staff members are so sweet. I'd definitely recommend us to people looking to stay here. We love our patients and make sure that they are very well taken care of.

This was my favorite job as a CNA. I have been a CNA over 20 years and it was the last place I worked. They really care about their worker's and residents. From the administrator down, would actually help you and with the residents. I give them 5 stars, from administrator down to the house keeper's

My wife fell and needed rehabilitation, the entire staff has been great, funny polite and respectful. They have been supportive of any need we had as the staff have gone above and beyond to accommodate our needs from the office, nurses, rehab staff, kitchen and house keepers. If we ever need to be in rehab again this is where we will come.

My sister is there for rehab and I want to say the staff from the techs to the therapist have been wonderful. I also want to thank Cody in admissions for his courteous and prompt attention to detail. Thank you Cody and everyone there
