Outstanding biscuits! Ordered strawberry shortcake biscuit, cheddar garlic biscuits, and a sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit; all were terrific. Cozy cafe vibe, quick and friendly service. Hard to beat the price, too!

When you bite into a buttermilk biscuit from the Big Biscuit Barn, be sure to close your eyes so you can immerse your senses in the light, airy texture, the savory butter, and the melt in your mouth goodness. It is a treat for your senses. The country sausage gravy has the smoothest, oh-so-light base with just the right size sausage mixed in with flakes of ground pepper that give it the true southern taste. The big biscuit platter has a generous helping of scrambled eggs, gravy or grits, and a biscuit with your choice of meat. The two of us had a keep-you-full-all-day breakfast for $16 and change. The restaurant is owned by Phillis Cabe, a widow who gives credit for her success over the past 15 years to her faith. Make the trip to the Biscuit Barn and while you are there, ask Phyllis about her biscuit making class. She might just save you a seat.

I recently ate breakfast here with my daughter for the 1st time, and we were not impressed. The workers were friendly. The food was ok, but not as good as I expected. The dining area was very small and cramped, so if you would like to eat here, you may wanna use the convenient drive thru. I ordered 2 scrambled eggs, 1 biscuit, and potato rounds. My daughter ordered the breakfast platter. The eggs were good, and the biscuit was ok, but I'm not sure why the menu didn't say tater tots, lol. I was expecting sliced potatoes that were fried or something... not over cooked tater tots!

Very friendly staff, the food was great and we got to watch them make it. This is a very intimate restaurant with a rustic atmosphere, like something you'd see in the countryside. I'm a long way from home in Missouri, and I can say with 100% certainty that these were the best biscuits I've ever had. Overall, this was a very good visit and I would recommend the breakfast strawberry shortcake biscuit.

Has a drive thru to order. The biscuit I got from there was on the cold side. Everything was good. Make sure to ask for butter and jelly etc if you don’t like your biscuit without it.

The gravy biscuits reminded me of my mother in laws. Down home good cooking.

I had been wanting to try this place for a long long time. I was excited to finally try it, only to be let down. The biscuit was dry and stale like it was old and reheated. The sausage gravy was ok but barely had any sausage in it. Won't be going back.

Delicious food on large biscuits, fast friendly service, lots of antiques. Eating area was a bit small but cosy. Definitely worth a return visit.

UPDATED: My husband and I have been again since. We like their food and this time no hairs. We will continue to go as it doesnt seem to be a reoccurring issue. People are very nice and prices are great! Original: Hair in my food...and I had already pulled off way down i75 before I noticed.. so wasn't gonna turn around to have it fixed. Wasted money...
