Good to see this pub is now reopen. Friendly staff. Three real ales on hand pump to add to the good drinks range. A work in progress but a great start. Check opening times beforehand if visiting midweek.

Absolutely love this place, we’re so happy it’s opened back up and as an independent pub. It’s a lovely country pub which we always make a stop off whilst out on a walk, it’s dog friendly and has great views from in the main bar area. The owners and staff are really friendly which you can have a good chat with and there is a great choice of beers, wines and good quality coffee on offer. They have some amazing ideas in the pipeline for this place including a food menu coming soon which we’re really looking forward to seeing it all come together for them. Well done guys 👏🏻

Went to see The Burning Hell gig. A lovely intimate venue with friendly staff and a good selection of beer. The outdoor seating area looked pretty good too. 👍

Just popped in after a walk up Kinda Scout with an old friend last Saturday. I remember this pub as the Sportsman but I have to say it feels like there is more about the place than those days now. There is a beautiful atmosphere and the first thing I noticed after my walk up a big breazy hill was the heat. When I stepped in I was met by a wall of welcoming heat. The next thing I noticed was a Neil Young t-shirt on a young member of the bar staff, and then I noticed some really nice beer. Top pub, top people, great pint... And nice choice of crisps. Thanks one and all, wish I could have stayed longer.

Beautiful pub with an outstanding view in the main bar. Huge window looking out onto the countryside. So relaxing. Really cool team behind the bar, really welcoming and nice to chat to about the plans for the pub. Excited to see what comes next, especially when the kitchen is set up. Decent drinks, tasty looking proper coffee and a cool lounge vibe, looking forward to coming back and staying longer.

Great atmosphere in here. Live music, great beer selection and a hard to find good wine collection. Indoor and outdoor seating.
