Brilliant food if you don't mind sharing and eating from the same platter. We ordered a MEAL FOR4 person. Arabian dishes

Been meaning to find a street with Halal food and this place was amazing. The meat with the rice was incredible. Family based atmosphere, no card accepted which was a shame but very nice food.

We have dined in the family room was a filthy place. And service was very poor and as a customer I gave one star since there is no options for zero star. Food quality was average and quantity was good. They were not accepting card payment. Anyhow it's not a recomendable restaurant.

Was looking for a particular restaurant in the area but it was closed. A person who happened to be there recommended me to go to this restaurant. It was a blessing. The food was authentic, simple, delicious and very satisfying. Yemeni tea served was superb. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Highly recommended

Visited today to try Yemenite food and it was super delicious. Big plates and big portions and the prices are excellent. We got the lamb mandi, chiken kafsa and the shaa(something) bread with yoghurt. Really delicious, the lamb melted in my fingers and it was super tender, the chiken was so soft and tender aswell. We ate so much! The portions were super generous. You have to come early to have a sit because it's a very busy place and the food takes some time to arrive. I recommend this place, we will be back to try the other items on the menu. Update: we came back and this time was so disappointing. They trick us with the chicken, we ordered half of chiken and it was clearly not the half and also ordered a kebab and they out 3 pieces a lots of rice, we went another place to eat bc we still very hungry

Excellent Yemeni food and big portions. Highly recommended. Will certainly go back there. Mohannad at the counter was all smiles. Went back to praise the quality and taste of food to him.

Amazing taste with very affordable price. Once you been here you not gonna try anywhere else, everything fresh and delicious, Seating area is good with WC and hand washing place. Big place for a whole family down stairs.

Chicken mandi is Good but the meat should be cooked properly, rice is delicious. Soup is excellent

I went there yesterday and was not sure as was visiting from overseas. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was very good and tasty and portion size was quite big. Complementary soup and chips for kids. Down stairs cleanliness can be improved and especially toilets area. Very slippery due to tiles and may some slip some day and break his bones.

Very traditional and homely Yemeni restaurant. Great food which was prepared instantly. Everyone is chatty, and friendly, as it seems the customers and staff all know eachother. Probably not for everyone, but as someone who likes a relaxed, traditional experience, it was perfect. Bathrooms could be cleaner.

The food (lamb mandhi, the bread with black seeds, the meat broth, the fresh lime and mint juice... ) never disappoints, the staff is always kind, and everything reasonably priced, we always come back and take people there for them to taste the deliciousness ma shaa Allah. May Allah increase you.

Used to be our favourite Mandi / kabsa place but not anymore . Prices increased and quality and quantity reduced considerably. Probably new management! Definitely looking for something new from now .

The order took 2 hours to be delivered although they said it will be delivered within 30-60 minutes. We called the restaurant many times and they said the driver is on the way!! Then said that the delay is because of the rain. Eventually they delivered the order after 2 hours and the meals weren't hot enough, just warm. This was very unprofessional to do this with customers. The restaurant is 3 minutes away by car, if they were honest from the start, I would have collected the order instead of waiting for 2 hours!!

One of the best mix grill I ever had for a long time. The lamb chops are so tasty. I choosed to have one tray with different mix grill. Karak tea is nice and also some of the desserts. The place is slightly noisy as it is always busy but you can have a place with the family downstairs. The staff memebers are friendly but sometimes they take time when it is so busy in the resturant. Overall, very tasty food with reasonable prices and will go there again 👍.

I've usually have the grilled half chicken and it's really delicious. Comes with yummy rice and the portion size is very generous. They also have a Tuna sauce in their breakfast menu that is amazing.

Food and service was really good. There is a rate difference in the menu card and bill for the same item. So be aware before order the food . Its a kind of cheating.

Tried the lamb chops (5) and rice for £11 and it was very tasty. Proper lamb chops with meat on and flavoursome and the rice is some of the best rice I have tasted ever. So fluffy and tasty . Will be back to try other dishes very very soon.

Very much the real deal for food, you can taste the home cooking in it. Not from buckets! Also very friendly, decent people and will not break the bank. Worth the effort to find

I just had lunch there now. This has been by far the best for I've had in a loooong time. The meat melts in your mouth. The rice is faultless. The bread is so good it should be classed as a cake. The gentleman who runs the place and the lads who work there create such a natural atmosphere. I'll be bringing my friends to this place in the next few weeks. Oh and the prices are too good to be true and the portions are huge. I really don't know how he makes a profit hahaha

You will get the best arabic food at a cheaper rate. Must try is Chicken Mendi and Lamb mendi also you will get a complementry lamb soup for every meal. The cost for two will be £20. Must try

Dining here since the day it opened over 10 years earlier. Now they re opened with refurbishment ,feels looks alot better, atmosphere is nice. Breakfast is cooked to perfection, the main meals are like middle eastern cuisine I've had when I fly over EU Emirates Dubai to my Holiday home

Chaotic disorganised and very poor customer service. Happened twice to me so writing the review now. Ordered over the phone and told to pick in 30 minutes. After arriving order still not prepared and staff keep asking who do you called and ask me to wait again. Waited another 25 minutes at the end on inquiring about my order I was told lamb is not available and we can prepare chicken for u. Not recommended for pre book order as u will be ended in long wait than expected. I was told food is good so I ordered there but ended in bad customer service.

Visited for a late lunch on Thurs 25th Aug with my family. Traditional Yemeni restaurant. Lovely staff member who took our order. Large portions of food. They gave us complimentary soup which was really tasty. Fast service. Food was very nice, hot and tasty. Also allow you to read your salah downstairs if needed. Reasonably priced food for the large amount they give to customers. Would recommend trying this place.

Came to Liverpool for the day, searched Halal restaurant near me and this was 4mins away with good reviews so I thought why not. What a decision it turned out to be. Having never tried Yemeni food before and being a South Asian who is used to spicy food, I thought it might be bland but in actual fact it was super tasty and flavourful. We got some kind of complementary soup to begin with. It tasted a bit like bone broth with a nice kick to it. Delicious. The hummus was thick and creamy. The chicken was soft, tender with nice spice. A good judge of a restaurant is if they can cook lamb/meat well and this did not disappoint. The chops were soft, meaty and not chewy at all and had beautiful charring. We got another lamb dish called a Fahsaa and it was lamb and vegetables in a clay pot. It came sizzling and boiling. The lamb was soft, tender and flavourful and broke into pieces easily. Paired perfectly with the arabic bread. Was similar to a lamb nihari but not as spicy. The restaurant itself was nothing too fancy. Very simple and all the tables were full. Service was also very good. Will definitely be coming back next time!
