Really pleasant staff, great place. The food below par. Definitely not on the price level, which wouldn't be shy in Prague on the main square. Not so much the food, which feels kinda stale and without much invention.

Arrived there at 2 pm and we were lucky to get a table. Food was great, lots of game meat. Inside was small and cozy.

Good food, especially 'wild meat', hard to find vegetarian options on the menu though.

Well-known restaurant / pension "U tetřeva" (grouse) in picturesque settlement of Kladská. This little piece of Switzerland in Western Bohemia used to be famous hunting ground. And so there's no wonder that to "Tetřev" one came to have some fine game cuisine. Restaurant was closed for some time and finally reopened in 2019 to carry on its famous tradition. And I believe they are doing pretty well! Game consommé was strong and tasty and their flag ship.. deer tenderloin.. was simply superb. Will be back!

Every course was excellent, fed a hungry family 2-3 courses each. Not a bad step! Friendly service and a thoroughly enjoyable late lunch. Highly recommended. I had the mouflon with cherry sauce. Amazing! Cash only tho!! No local ATM/bankomat

Very nice restaurant with super friendly staff. We got inside with a stroller and were welcome very friendly all the time, although that was not very spacy place. Foods are rather venison based, which I personally dislike. But there are some average foods so I order some of them. The quality was good, prices high, but I guess we did not have any other choice near the lakes. I quite liked the food, but other thing such staff and speed of serving was just great. Therefore 5 stars.
