The approx. 20-year-old facility was designed by a brilliant achievement by the course architect and the mostly very wide and spacious fairways are embedded in an older and hilly forest area, with partly larger differences in height and many romantic water features, so that one always has the feeling of one to take an entertaining walk through a fairytale forest.... and without having to constantly search for your ball in the thicket. The course is quite demanding and offers many great spots on the tees across various romantically designed ponds and small valleys, as well as on ingeniously designed greens. The game here is anything but a boring course of lanes that are otherwise often just next to each other and so the course offers a golfing experience that is rarely found in this perfection. Due to the very varied layout of the fairways on the huge site, there are some longer distances between one or the other green and the next tee. If you don't want to walk so much, you should rather use one of the numerous available and comfortable e-cars. The turf quality on the fairways and on the greens was in remarkably good condition given the earlier season (past reviews obviously taken seriously)! The price/performance ratio is sensational and as a conclusion one can only say as a golfer: a visit to this golf course is an absolute must! Station auf unserer Tour mit dem Wohnmobil durch Westböhmen, Ende April, war das Golf Resort Franzensbad. Ein Caravan-Parkplatz (nur 10 € pro Nacht!) ist vorhanden. Extrem Service-orientiertes und deutsch sprechendes Personal hat uns hier mit toller Freundlichkeit überrascht. Der Golfplatz selbst ist ein Erlebnis der besonderen Art...und das ist eigentlich untertrieben! Die ca. 20 Jahre alte Anlage wurde durch eine Glanzleistung des Platzarchitekten konzipiert und die meistens sehr breiten und weitläufigen Bahnen sind in ein älteres und hügeliges Waldgebiet, mit z.T. größeren Höhenunterschieden und vielen romantischen Wasserhinternissen, eingebettet, so dass man immer wieder das Gefühl hat einen unterhaltsamen Spaziergang durch einen Märchenwald zu unternehmen.... und das ohne seinen Ball ständig im Dickicht suchen zu müssen. Der Platz ist recht anspruchsvoll und bietet viele tolle Spots bei den Abschlägen über verschiedene romantisch angelegte Teiche und kleine Täler, sowie bei raffiniert angelegte Greens. Das Spiel ist hier alles andere als ein langweiliges Ablaufen von sonst häufig nur nebeneinander liegenden Bahnen und so bietet der Platz eben ein Golferlebnis, welches selten in dieser Perfektion zu finden ist. Durch die sehr variabel angelegten Bahnen auf dem riesigen Gelände gibt es einige längere Wege zwischen dem einen oder anderen Green und dem nächsten Abschlag. Wer nicht so viel laufen möchte, der sollte lieber eines der zahlreich vorhandenen und komfortablen E-Cars nutzen. Die Rasenqualität auf den Bahnen und auf den Greens war angesichts der  früheren Jahreszeit in einem bemerkenswert gutem Zustand (die Kritiken in der Vergangenheit wurden offensichtlich ernst genommen) ! Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist sensationell und als Fazit kann man als Golfspieler nur sagen: Der Besuch dieses Golfplatzes ist ein absolutes Muss! ("einmal hier spielen und dann sterben!";-) ) Wir kommen gerne und mit Freunden wieder!

In Franzensbad spiele ich mindestens 2x im Jahr. Mit diesem Platz verbindet mich eine Hassliebe, er ist wunderschön, meine Ergebnisse dafür sehr schlecht. Der Platz ist wundervoll in den alten Baumbestand eingebettet, mit reizvollen Blicken über das Vogtland. Das Servicepersonal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Hannah und Lenka sprechen deutsch. Die Gastro ist aufmerksam, das Essen sehr schmackhaft und preiswert. Wir sehen uns Ende Juni wieder.

Tohle hřiště je vždy výzva :) Ze žlutých odpališť něco málo přes 6 km SR 140 dokáže prověřit připravenost a nervy i zdatných golfistů. Hrál jsem zde po dlouhé době a tohle hřiště mě vážně baví! V letošní sezóně, tak jako ostatně na spoustě dalších hřišť, se na hracích plochách dosti podepsaly vysoké teploty a nedostatek vody. A to i přes obrovské nasazení a snahu údržby, za což si celý team zaslouží DÍKY! Jako plus mohu hodnotit velice vstřícný přístup recepce. Pokud to nestihnu ještě letos, příští sezonu určitě Hazlov zařadím na můj seznam MUST PLAY!
