A great little diner. Huge portions. John and his wife run a great little place. They make you feel at home.

A surprisingly good place for breakfast! Portions are large and well priced ($10 for coffee, eggs, home fries, bacon, and toast). Super tiny inside, but fast and friendly service. Definitely recommend for a good diner breakfast.

Old style place with an old fashioned feel that I kind of liked. This is about as far from a chain restaurant as you can get. I had two dogs and a huge order of fries with sauce for just under ten bucks. Dogs were typical sliders (if you want Sahlens hot dogs you should probably go to Ted's) on a soft bun and the fries were pretty decent. Sauce was good and had a bit of a Swiss Chalet flavor to it but still doesn't compare to Seneca Texas Hots sauce in my opinion. Pretty good place overall though.

A true throwback with great food at a great price in a nice little diner where you can watch your breakfast being made! Definitely a stop if you're from out of town to have real hometown food

Yea, I am old enough to remember going this place at the old location when I was a kid. It is exactly what you would expect when you walk in. No frills diner experience. Yes, I love their hots. They are as hard core Buffalo as it gets. On this visit I stopped in for Breakfast and it was fabulous. Coffee was great. Eggs and homefries fantastic. Service was wonderful. Food and price way better than another national chain breakfast/diner joint down the street. There are fewer and fewer of these old school spots left so please stop in and give them a reason to keep going. They are part of our heritage.

EXCELLENT lunch counter feel w homestyle COOKED TO ORDER yummies. I had a DELICIOUS 1/2# burger n huge fries for 9$ n i cant finish it! U can go to mcds accross the street n get a tiny 1/4# w fries for 7.85 n its not even xlose to as good or filling. The breakfast specialls w pancakes sausage r bacon another belt buster!! Reasonable prices n full portions. U wont be sorry. Get there n eat! Youll be so full u wont remember your own name! Anytime the burger is bigger than the bun, its a good thing. N i got the other half for later.great eats n atmosphere

I've been going there for the best slim dogs since I was a kid, and they were located at Abbott and Edgewood in South Buffalo!

Gus is a cool guy he cooks the food in front of you and the servers are family so it is home feel kind of diner

Quaint place with a variety of things to order, I can remember this place as a kid. If you buy 5 hot dogs you get the 6th free. The waitress was very friendly. The goulash is out of this world, it's a Tuesday special.and reminds me of my Mom's

Closes way to early.. 5 pm is the time most people have dinner, and it closes at 5. Exactly 5. Cute little place tho, okay service it's mid. But overall the food is so so. BUT ITS NOT VERY CLEAN. they don't wear gloves nor hair nets!! Service is not respectful, but it is at the same time.
