Grace Garden. It is a great resting place that is truly quiet and peaceful. Metasequoia tree. Chukbaek tree. And it is a nice garden with hydrangeas. It is a luxury item to look for again.

This garden was created through 15 years of effort by Mrs. Jo Haeng-yeon, a deacon of the church, and is also called the Garden of Hydrangeas, with 300,000 hydrangeas planted there. When the garden was in full swing on the site of the church's missionary center, Mrs. Jo Haeng-won received 100 hydrangeas from the monastery and planted them, which was the starting point for planting many hydrangeas. Nowadays, trucks working with Poclain are moving in to maintain the park, but when the site was first built, the entire area would have been overgrown with trees and vines, so it's worth imagining the hardships they went through. When I went there, most of the hydrangeas were gone, so I couldn't enjoy them. When I went there at the end of August, when the summer heat was still at its peak, the only people there were me and my three family tourists, so when I walked along the secret forest path, it really felt like I was walking through a secret forest. I applaud the effort to create this vast forest of 530,000 square meters. There is also a church in the forest, so believers here feel like they are traveling every Sunday. It was a nice forest.

Loved the mountain outlook and carefully tended gardens full of hydrangeas. It's a work in progress.

As of July 23rd, I think there are about 10% of hydrangeas left. Even if it’s not hydrangeas, walking through the park forest can be healing. There are no steep slopes. There is also a rest area in the middle, so it would be nice to take a break with a drink and look at the scenery.

I don't think it's a place to buy tickets in the fall or winter. There's something to see... I just like the cool, clear air.

It was great to have a beautiful garden in the mountains. I was able to look around and see various flowers such as hydrangeas and trees such as metasequoia planted, so I could enjoy the refreshing view. However, the downside was that the drinks were too expensive.

The guidance signs feel a bit unfriendly. I think I could see all the gardens without getting lost if I just followed the route, but I was worried about where to go at each intersection. I kept coming back to the same place, so I thought it would be nice to have arrows to guide the recommended route.

When I arrived at Grace Garden after visiting Manhwabangcho, it was 5pm and I paid 4,000 won for the admission fee as a senior citizen. There is a good parking lot. There was even a third parking lot, so parking wasn't difficult. The road leading up is beautifully landscaped with metasequoia trees. The large plaza in front of the cafe is equipped with parasols and chairs for relaxation, and hydrangeas are blooming vigorously in the millet area. I hope the hydrangeas will be in full bloom in a week. You have taken very good care of the garden. There is a forest library, a cathedral, and photo spots everywhere.
