The place is the place to go for Jeju’s take on hangover soup. It features two popular dishes which are the gosari yukgaejang and momguk. Gosari yukgaejang is thick and almost of a porridge like consistency featuring a Korean fernbracken which is an ingredient in normal yukgaejang. In this version it’s taken to the next level and is the main ingredient, though it’s softened up and almost blended rather than stringy and chewy like the normal version. If I had to think of Korean comfort food this would come to mind. Momguk has seaweed in pork broth and is also great. The lines get long here because it’s super long. There is a paid parking lot in front but you may have to wait a little for parking as well.

We waze our way here for lunch by rented car , parking was available and 2000 won fee, we had a private room for dining , service was fast , menu got in Chinese words , we had the beef broth , pork broth , spicy broth which was tasty and something different. They only have 4 dishes to choose from . It was a good experience

The food was good and staff were really helpful! Even though we only spoke English, they were accomodating and brought us an English menu and a picture menu so we could order and made sure we knew what we were ordering, which was really sweet! They had tasty side dishes to go with the mains and the portions were generous. The waiting time was also minimal. Overall, a lovely restaurant!

The native Jeju Island soup here is delicious and unique. The soup has been simmering for 24 hours until the meat is exquisitely tender and flavourful. It come with the typical Korean side dishes, so I received an entire meal together with my beef soup. If you can’t read Hangul, you can ask for the English menu or communicate in Mandarin

Had the spicy beef soup (the bowl nearest to the camera) and there’s substantial meat and the soup doesn’t taste jelak. My friend had the gulfweed soup which tastes like seaweed and earthy, not bad too. Putting 4 stars not because it’s not nice but rather its a unique experience since we don’t get to eat this in Singapore so I’m not sure how a super good bowl of this soup should taste like. But would recommend u to try if you are around dongmun market

Worth every second of wait outside in the freezing weather. They have a queuing system where you need to approach the counter for a queue number and they will announce it through a PA system outside, do take note of the announcements and check with them if it is your number once in a while. They have an English and Chinese menu available and I went for the pork hangover soup.

Great place for handover soup. We discovered this place when we were staying at a nearby hotel when our flight got cancelled. The restaurant has a queue system. The staff will give you a number, and invite you to the waiting area near the restaurant. Number will be called in Korean through the PA system so it’ll be a good idea to take note of the people who took a queue number before you. Another option is to occasionally go back to the restaurant to check with the staff. Staff are really nice and understanding because we did not understand their system. They will immediately serve the free sides to you. Menu is on the wall in Korean so you can use Google Translate to view it, or you can ask the staff for a “menu” (the understand that) and they will show you the pictures to choose from. We ordered the drinks by looking at their chiller and pointing. All dishes were good. Payment is by cash or card.

First taste. Come and experience It goes well with the Kimchi served at the restaurant. The water gives the new water, not the dirty bottle. Open at 5:30 in the morning. There are a lot of people during the trip season and weekends. Please use public parking in front of the restaurant. Parking is free on holidays.

A traditional Jeju style soup with sliced chicken and vegetables. Highly recommend as a typical korean taste but you have to wait for a very long time until you taste this one at least one hour. you will know when you get there.

    1) Communication was not an issue. They spoke enough English that everything went well. 2) Momguk is delicious. It was piping hot, tender, savory and just all around delightful. Portion size was good too. Enough to satisfy, not enough so that you're bursting at the seams. 3) It's a short walk (albeit uphill) to a large bus station where several lines converge.

The food was good, but if i had waited 2 hours like many others, i would probably knock down a star. I went at 2 after the lunch rush and waited 30 minutes. They have a small menu and you order almost right when you get seated. We got one hangover soup and one yukgaejang(which is their most famous dish). The yukgaejang was incredibly unique. Never had anything like it, but it wasnt amazing amazing. The hangover soup was good but it was similar to other hangover soups you can find elsewhere.

Famous korean soup for relieving hangover. Signature soup of the restaurant was thick and felt like porridge. You can park the car in the public parking lot next to the restaurant. When you pay the bill you will be asked the plate number of your car. The restaurant pays for the parking fee. Maybe 1 hour.

A famous eatery in Jeju do. Traditional style Korean food. Priced at 15000won the pancake was good and filling. Somehow felt a bit gooey but okay.

Queued for 1.5hrs (even we arrived around 2:48pm after lunchtime). There’s an AC room for waiting. They will show you the picture menu if you can’t understand the Korean on the boards. The radish kimchi was amazing. I think the food was tasted good but you will feel so thirsty after the meals (maybe because of MSG??)

👍👍 Very fast service and the noodles were delicious! Broth was thick with a nice mouthfeel yet not so thick that it could get a little too much like how some Japanese Tonkotsu broths can get. Noodles were deliciously springy. Dumplings had plenty of meat stuffed inside as well and the spicy cold noodl...

👍 It was a seafood extravaganza. Fried pollack as excellent and the seafood pot very flavourful. May be a bit too spicy for some. The rock fish, abalone and prawn formed comes well together in this medley of a pot. Everything yummy, even radish was super sweet. Rice and seaweed pairs excellent. Only g...

😐 Ironically the kimbap was not very nice, too bland and the egg tasted jelly-like.. it was the ramyeon that saved the day! Very flavorful and full of ingredients!
