A noodle house with a handful of noodles. No reservations just like all places in Jeju. Lots of parking but usually a waiting line

It located on the noodle street in Jeju. There are many noodle restaurants on the street. Jamae Guksu is the busier one. It famous for the noodles with black-pork on the top only cost KRW 8,000. Comes with a few side dishes as usual. Doesn’t it look droolworthy in the picture?

There's street parking available to this restaurant , we came for dinner around 6pm plus and got to wait for our tables around 20minutes , service was good but the food to be honest doesn't taste to our expectations, it was a disappointment, pork leg was cold , the soup 🍜 was too peppery and temperature not hot enough , noodle was soggy and not springy , the spicy cold noodle was too spicy .

Very fast service and the noodles were delicious! Broth was thick with a nice mouthfeel yet not so thick that it could get a little too much like how some Japanese Tonkotsu broths can get. Noodles were deliciously springy. Dumplings had plenty of meat stuffed inside as well and the spicy cold noodles were tasty too!

We didn't have a Korean phone number so the host helped us to register for a queue number and personally came to call us at the waiting area when it was our turn. We ordered the Pork Soup Noodles and Spicy Cold Noodles. The meat was tender for both dishes and the soup was flavourful for the soup noodles.

When I arrived at the airport I was very hungry, so my dad brought me here. At first, I wasn't expecting a nice noodle, but when the food came to us I was surprised at the size and the taste. That day was raining so I was gloomy, however after I had a meal in here, my feelings got a lot much better.

You will not regret! Broth on point! Side dishes (Kimchi, Radish) on point, Speed on point, Taste on the effin point! My god, with the price where it’s at, it’s hard to believe the portion of food they offer! If you have a chance or room to eat, please don’t forget to add dumplings (Mandoo) on the side. Side dishes will be brought out by the server at first table set up, but if you want more, it’s to be served by yourself. Trust me, you will go get more! I believe this restaurant has recently moved to this new location. Not only is it more spacious inside, but also the parking lot has gotten much bigger! Wait time at the kiosk tends to be ‘upper end’ of what they expect. It’s usually about 20 mins lesser than what the kiosk indicates. (I was greeted with message at 45 mins wait, but ended up getting a table in 23mins). Majority of the customers and visitors know that there are a lot waiting, so many are not really hogging table.

We were there for lunch on a Sunday. The queue was very long. We waited for 50 minutes. The noodle was good. Broth was tasty and not oily.

I heard on YouTube that this place always had a lineup. We walked right in the night we came. Food came fast, good taste, inexpensive and you can refill your banchan.

The taste is just as delicious as before, and the restaurant is located next to Jeju Airport, so it's nice to be able to eat right after arriving in Jeju Island, and it's fun to see an airplane very close outside the window! I hope you visit someday....

Had to wait 30 to 45 mins to our turn but I'm glad we tried it. Noodles are chewy and the pork slice is so tender. The anchovy soup and tasty but if you want more flavor go for the dry noodles. Only 2 types of noodles to choose yet queue is long.

There is a line before the stores open! The service from the staff are great. We do not speak korean and yet they guided through the ordering process to ensure we ordered what we wanted. I love the thinly sliced meat. I think is a great bowl of noodle that warms you up before you start your day of travelling!

My friends raved about this place and they were not overhyping it at all. This is a must go if you’re in Jeju. We made a 30 mins detour and it was totally worth it. Get the soup noodles ($9 sgd), extra pork ($34 sgd, for five pax) and boiled dumplings ($10 sgd). Everything was so delicious!!!

Had this as our first AND last meal during our trip here. Was the BEST braised pork belly and pork broth soup we've had. No wonder it's fully packed from the moment it opens until it's closed.

Pork based soup noodle. Rick broth but not as aromatic as Hokkaido’s tonkongtsu ramen.

A typical touristic restaurant crowded with non-resident diners. Nothing particularly special about the noodles but the superb quality pork slices.

A place that locals visit 👍🏻 went on a Saturday afternoon for lunch - be prepared to wait as it gets crowded

Not sure why this place is very famous and popular. Overall it was not my taste. Very rich pork belly broth and kinda smell. I had to add pepper and red pepper flake.

What fantastic noodles they have! Noodles have a nice bouncy consistency and soup was delicious! Their dumplings are easy to pop in your mouth as they are so small and delicious! The spicy noodles were nice but once it got to half-way, the spiciness may get to you..

We decided to go to this restaurant for dinner as it was raining and we were looking for a hearty, homey meal. This was not it. The restaurant is known for their pork-noodle soup but the water was more flavorful. If you must go here, order a side of mandu (dumplings) you’ll be grateful for it.

It's quite localized. When I was there, I was the only non Korean. It's not easy to get a table, there's a machine to get a queue number i supposed, but you will have to know how to read Korean in order to use it, otherwise just look for the shop assistant. Queue was long as the shop is quite compact with limited tables, lucky enough for me as I was traveling solo at that time, I get a place immediately. I honestly cannot get enough of the broth, so thick, so natural and good thing they are not overly seasoned. The black pork is so juicy as well and portion is big too.

They serve the softest tastiest noodles with such tender pork slices in a clear and delicious broth. Portion is generous great value for money @ 9000 won. Staff super efficient .
