It's one of the best places to spend evening time with friends and family. Have a kid's play area for the enjoyment of children. The park is filled with greenery and plants, kept clean and well-maintained.

Offering a good view of the water, velliamkallu heritage park is situated near the bridge. Plenty of juice stalls located close to it gives a quench to summer thirst. Though the facilities inside the park is not too satisfactory, the overall ambience is good.

It is a good park, reasonably maintained along with a dam, but still can improve as there’s an entry fee of 20. Please consider avoiding beggars and charity workers on the premises. People come over here to relax, stress out, and enjoy. Do not give them stress again by ‘begging.’ Political parties and charity trees, kindly note and understand.

Nice small park next to Bharatapuzha river at the Velliyamkallu Bridge. There is a children's play area in the park. Also there are walls with paintings of the myths of 'Parayi petta Panthirukulam' and also of famous personalities like Captain Lakshmi, VT Bhattathirippad, Akkitham and MT Vasudevan Nair. It's a treat to just sit and watch the river during the peak monsoon season. There are some small shops nearby selling coffee, tea, snacks, ice cream etc.

Good place to spend evening time with friends and family. The park is just for kids. Near to the park we can go to the river bank. one issue is that lack of street lights on the road/ some of them are not working.

Cosy place to stop and have some good chai or a cold drink. Its a small park and the entire place can be covered in under half an hour. We got in for ₹12 per adult and after confirming to the man at the ticket counter that we’ve were vaxed (both doses). We found the place clean and well landscaped. The park has a cafeteria that serves machine chai and coffee (with and without sugar), ice cream, and snacks. The fun is knowing such an amazing place exists and is available for one to enjoy being near the great and powerful Bharatha Puzha. Being just an hour away from our place in Perinthalmanna, I do hope to go back soon to relax by the side of this river.

It's a relaxing atmosphere with the view of the river. Everytime I've been there the surroundings looked so different. They have a variety of dresses to try on it seems. The green saree in the winter season. The sand coloured summer and overflowing blue in the rainy season are a feast to watch.

The view is beautiful! Good place to relax, children will enjoy.. It would be excellent if it was maintained well and cleaning was done regularly.. The paintings on the bridge and play things could be redone and also the artificial water ponds near the bridges in the park needs a water change.

Beautiful riverside Park. good for Family and friends. Pros :: - Lot of places to sit and rest - Open Auditorium - Toilet facilities and Canteen - Childrens park - Morning for friends and Couples - Evening for Family and Children's Cons :: - Can't handle too much crowd. - It will be good if have limited tiket per day - Evening is too crowded - Need more Candy shops - Not enough privacy becouse of nearby sitting points

Beautiful family park near velliyamkallu over bridge. Perfect place for families, kids and couples to hangout. This park is well maintained and neatly managed. There is a park entrance fee which is recently added. For adult 10 rupees and for children above 5 years 5 rupees and for families 20 rupees. The charges may have a slight variation depends on fee updates. There are 2 or more play areas for kids. Also an open theatre. Cafeteria, wash rooms, toilets are available. There are lot of village food and snacks sellers outside the park. Toys as well. A good outing place for families living neighbourhood at evenings.

Good place to spend the evening with family and friends. A small park specially for children, river and the bridge makes the place more beautiful. Some shops and small restaurants nearby, can have some evening snacks. Riverbanks are more preferable than the park.

This Velliyamkallu Heritage Park is created by Kerala Tourism Dept. It is a small park located just adjacent to rand overlooking river view. The park is meant for families with kids..as there are simple play rides for kids. There is not much if greenery but the dept seems to be making

Such a poor maintained and nasty park. With a dam and a river nearby you expect a good view but unfortunately its dry now. The water channels connecting the river to the small inlets inside the park are all dry and contains nothing other than some trash thrown by people. Some rusted swings for children and some painted grassy areas. Lots of juice and icecream stalls but with the COVID situation I wouldn't suggest that as well. So basically.. Its a 1 star park, especially for people like me coming from abroad. Wouldn't suggest to anyone as well.

A very good stop and enjoy place for children and travellers .... Nice view of the river and bridge from the park is arranged. I don't know what they mean by Heritage park, but it is clean and well furnished. Little space for children to enjoy.... But it is good 😊😊😊😊 even under this corona time.... A small Bamboo shrubs, well maintained ground, river view, other rocks and seats are arranged in well manner . I think the limited space is used to its maximum.....
