Place had a decent gym to go inside, and burn to calories. Thankfully there was some standard cooling, which is completely scarce in this country. The gym was too small, there wasn't that much of a variety when it came to playing games. All in all, it was decent.

Really angry been going for about 7 months now ,and the biggest problame seems to be timing now everytime we book the basketball court we have to wait 10 mins for them to dismantle the badminton, so we are losing time already and they still expect us to leave with having just 50 mins of play! There is a staff member with dark curly hair who talked to me and my friends like absolute dirt! I asked for her name and she refused to give it to me, but I will make sure she gets dealt with they are not replying with there email so I guess I will have to go higher up!!!

Been a member for a while. Usually go in late due to work. Turn up tonight to be told last entry is 9pm. Since when did this change? It may be worth letting your regular members know before you change your opening hours and updating Google. Fuming!!

Twice in a row they hae cancelled booking for my badminton at 8pm on Wednesday. They are talking about block booking been made but we made booking 1 week in advance. Giving priority to others by cancelling pre booked one is really not professional.

A lot smaller than Southend leisure centre, the work out machine could do with some upgrade because they look very old and some don't work properly.. If you want somewhere less crowded then this is the place..

Nice little but basic gym.... Friendly and cosy... Be aware of the schools often use off-peak so busy and noisy

Great on service and friendly staff members. Good place for Badminton. Gym is quite ordinary.

The gym definitely needs upgrading. Also since I joined I have never seen a member of staff in the gym or on the desk. Very often the gym is empty so if anything happened there would be no-one to help. The changing rooms are very basic and I wouldnt want to take a shower in there. There is no dignity and no cubicals to change in private.

Had badminton booked twice and both times moved our slot without informing us. Then when asked can we just get this refunded as that's twice we've had to leave and come back we were told couldn't issue a refund there and then and they will have to call us to do that at a later date. Terrible service and poorly run centre. Awful.

The gym classes are great. Long may they continue! Shame about the hassle of getting in the gate.

The sports hall and other facilities seem ok but my review is based on the gym. Run down, dirty, well worn equipment and little of it. Changing rooms are beyond basic. Couldn't even get a drink of water. Thought it would be convenient as I work over the road at the hospital, but I can't in all good conscience justify paying 30 quid a month for these facilities. Grim. Avoid.
