The strength of all the company's adventures lies in the highly playful aspect of the puzzles: despite being set in the historical period of World War II, the gameplay remains consistently engaging with imaginative solutions and never feels burdensome. The puzzles are decidedly unconventional, leading you to follow the story and fully enjoy the experience. Thanks to the Game Masters, who are well-prepared and full of energy (thank you, Lidia and Aly), they encourage you to complete the mission. PS: The entrance is shared with a cinema, but don't let them convince you to watch a movie. What better movie than the one where you are the protagonists? Hosted the team social here and feedback from my team was unanimous that it was fantastic. I personally enjoyed the game very much and was deeply impressed by two lovely game masters, Sarah and ... (Sorry didn't join the other host's team so cannot remember the name of the other GM mb). Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed the escape room today. Very nice and interesting plot, very friendly staff, easy booking. Tasks are quite hard but we managed to escape 😀 Reccomend it

My mum and I were looking for a last minute game that wasn't too far from us so we took a trip into London to check out Escape Plan. I had read good things about this company and games when checking reviews and the reality did not disappoint! Situated a couple of minutes walk from Shoreditch High Street the venue is easy to find and we were soon greeted by our friendly Games Master Sarah. We booked to play The Adventure Begins and Sarah gave an energetic introduction to the game to set the scene. As we have done a lot of games before, we were able to agree on a help system that meant we could get stuck in with the game and Sarah would only help if we asked or she could see we were completely off track with something. The game itself was well themed and you can tell alot of time and thought has gone into the puzzles that seamlessly met the narrative. It was a relatively linear game, but at times different puzzles could be completed simultaneously, which then lead onto the next puzzle. I liked that nothing was too high tech but instead lots of tactile mechanical puzzles that have been made with care and attention to detail, fitting the theme. There were some really clever puzzles I've never seen/done in the 60 games I've done in the past so that's always a bonus. After some tension (or excitement, depending which way you looked at it) in the last section of the game we managed to escape the Prisoner of War camp with 9 seconds to spare, which we were pleased with considering there was only 2 of us and it is quite a challenging game. The great customer service continued with Sarah post-game as we debriefed and discussed other games before getting our team picture. I look forward to returning to try the other games in the future, including the new one opening soon with a non-WW2 theme. I would definitely recommend to others looking for a fun, challenge of a game at an affordable price considering it's in the capital!

We had a great time at Escape Plan on a recent work jolly, solving the clues to help Britain in its darkest hour! The host for our escape was Sarah who was absolutely brilliant! Super enthusiastic, really friendly and clearly loves her job and the escape room life! The game we did was cool because it was a bit of a departure from the usual sequential nature of lots of rooms where you have to solve clues in the right order to progress. There was an element of that but it then became more about solving lots of puzzles in any order to find the information we were looking for. And we smashed it of course! Scored the maximum 71 points and escaped with 15 minutes to spare

My wife and I did ‘roll the barrel’ as a duo. We have done about 15 escape rooms and this was one of the top ones. Each puzzle was thoughtful crafted. Sarah our games master was welcoming, enthusiastic and professional. We would recommend this company and game to anyone.

We recently did The Adventure Begins escape room and it was brilliant! It was our first time doing it and we had the best time. We had Carys as our games master and she was fantastic! Would highly recommend!!

My wife and I have now completed all three of the current games at Escape Plan, and we'll be back as soon as new game opens. I can't recommend their escape rooms highly enough. The rooms are really well themed, and involve a lot of mechanical/tactile elements which are very clever. I've found the various challenges to be perfectly pitched - stimulating, without being too difficult, and our game masters have always pitched hints at just the right level for us.

My friends and I had a really great time at Escape Plan today, special thanks to Carys, our gamemaster, who was very welcoming, helpful and congratulatory, and made our experience a very memorable one! We did "Roll Out The Barrel" and I'd recommend it to first time players as well as enthusiasts. I've done 2-3 escape rooms before and this one really struck a nice balance between fun/accessible enough to attempt alone and just challenging enough to force us to have to put our heads together and figure out the solution as a team! Additionally, there were a couple of really nice surprises in the room that led to some great moments. Don't take my word for it, give it a try!

Incredible! Sarah was an amazing host - so informative, helpful and lovely. The escape room was HARD (only our second escape room). Despite this, Sarah made it exciting and even came out to help us escape. 10/10 would recommend - thank you so much!

Really enjoyed the escape room. The special effects helped give it a realistic atmosphere as well. Special thanks to the host Django who gave us helpful hints and tips exactly when we needed them. Would definitely recommend.
