Don’t be put off by the exterior. Basic Pub and Indian Restaurant but staff very friendly and helpful and the food authentic and enjoyable. Fouzia, who served me several times was so pleasant and attentive. Dinesh, who checked me in, was great and helped me up with my luggage. I’m staying during Wimbledon and the location is ideal for transport to Wimbledon Station. There’s a Tram stop that goes direct to there five minutes walk away. My room is ideal, nicely laid out for my purposes. Clean, spacious, comfortable bed with good shower and toilet. It’s serviced every day and very fresh smelling. The last two years during Wimbledon I’ve stayed in a Travelodge and Casuarina Tree so far beats them hands down. Oh and great wifi.

The food was great really loved the sri lanka chicken curry and naan. Customer service is outstanding thank you Dipshika for your service, you are really sweet & kind she made me feel so comfortable and friendly. I would highly recommend this place everyones very friendly and the food are delicious.

The worst food and service ever. Sri lankan food is one of the most famous food but what I had tonight was really disappointing. The food was not fresh, it tasted frozen cold. We were nearly poisoned with expired mango lassy. The service provided us with false menu items, we ordered fish fry but we were given a frozen fish soaked in a very disgusted sauce. We paid 214.00 for small starters and drinks only where in other restaurants you can have a 3 way menu for this value. We had to call the manager who was in rush leaving home, he was kind but did only offer us food swap instead a compensation. We came all the way from Kent and left home very unhappy. Money is not an issue, but we noticed we were not served the items we ordered and charged too. I am very shocked with the expired mango lassy, I just hope I don't get sick by sipping few times. Honestly this is my first time.

This was my first time and I really had a bad cold and jus asked them to help with a hot drink and he dint even hesitate once and made me a very good hot lemon tea and he was so kind and really good that made me so happy with the service and he is one of the best person I ever met Thank you so much Fernando! I ll never forget this and for sure I will be back ! Guys trust me best service ever👍🏻♥️

Great restaurant/ pub tucked away in Mitcham. If you are looking for Indian/ Sri Lankan cuisine; would recommend this place. There is ample free parking available for their customers. They also have a hotel connected to the business. Would highly recommend booking a table in advance for large groups.

Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. Over an hour wait for food and we were the only table dining in the whole restaurant. Food is extremely poor quality (very dry and over cooked).

We stayed here for a few days and we barely got any sleep! The first night was terrible with the neighbouring room keeping us up till 9am! I called and made a complaint and was assured they would solve the issue but that never happened. This continued for a couple more nights and on the final night the room below us we’re having a massive get together in the early hours of the morning shouting and screaming with music.. we had to leave the hotel at 5am and go somewhere else we had enough of the restless nights and noise. We tried the restaurant and it was a nice atmosphere and the food was nice and reasonably priced and that’s what got this review a 1star. Avoid this hotel if you want a peaceful night sleep! The housekeeper was so lovely and attentive though. We won’t be staying here again.

Shiji was our server last night at the restaurant and was brilliant. The food was amazing. We had mutton rolls and various curries for our mains but the stand out curry was the chettinadu lamb. Thank you for having us!

The food here is amazing I have to say but there are a few things that need updating. The waitress was pleasant, but she didn’t: 1. Tell us her name 2. She didn’t ask us if we wanted anything else on the menu or tell us what’s good, seeing as we’re not Indian or Sri Lankan. 3. There are some events coming up in the place - no mention of what they are or if we’d like to attend. 4. We were not given a review card, so we can tell more people how good the place is or even about the food. We didn’t stay in the rooms, so I can’t say how good the rooms are, but it’s a very lovely restaurant and the food is to die for!! Oh there’s also karaoke, so if you have a good voice, you can showcase it here too. Generally an amazing experience, but the waitress let them down a bit on the points I’ve mentioned. Also, the food came pretty quickly, not long after we’d ordered! Good place to go!!

Good size carpark, Check in is at the bar a small cabinet in the restaurant, most info given My room was on the top floor was a good size as was the shower room Bed was comfortable enough Breakfast was included a Continental WiFi was good Shower was good . Only issue i had was the curtains rubbish and let the in the daylight to easly (woke up at 3.50am! ) The hotel is above a curry restaurant The evening meal was OK, simple menu and good value Wasn't the best curry I've had but the mushroom rice was delicious. Close to Mitcham center walks and running spots close by . Would stay again and recommend 👍

Generally the place needs updating as it is a little outdated however, I am giving 5 stars purely for the service and food. Guys in there are always nice, helpful and super welcoming. Curry is a top notch! Proper authentic curry which I have been ordering for months now.

We were a bit nervous about entering the premises, the building is old and the area looked a bit rough. Staff were friendly and professional. Once in our room, we were surprised. The room and bathroom were modernly fitted, clean and airy. They provided a jug with water and drinking glasses. There were ample teas and coffee supplies. The bed was firm, we had a good sleep once we got used to the surrounding noise of the outside traffic and guests coming into the building. The cook was very friendly and accommodating.

My friends took me here when I was in London. Excellent food and service. Our server Fouzia was great. I didn’t mention about the funny & friendly owner Percy.

Our server, Amritha, was very helpful and quick with our check in and our food. The food here was excellent and had a great range of vegetarian food. The location is very close to a bus stop for the 118 bus and the tram station. This is our second stay here.

Went there to celebrate a birthday with the family and I cannot say how amazing the service and food was. Kavya was absolutely amazing, constantly providing a service with a smile and making sure we are all happy with everything we got. Would highly recommend you to try the food you will love it!

I visited the place with my friends last Sunday dated 9th of July 2023 and had a wonderful experience. The food provided was excellent and delicious. The service we received from the bar was top notch and professional. The staff who attended made us very comfortable and happy. Staff named Kavya was excellent in her service and communication. I definitely suggest this place for a weekend bash with friends and will visit the place again.

Great place to stop over for a weekend trip to london. Tramline is right on the doorstep leading to Wimbledon station, which then has links to over land and underground services. We have stayed here twice now, nice rooms, nice people, awesome outside area for food and drinks. Great price too! Percy and his team are fantastic.

Nice pub food good,nice flavours. The only thing that let's the pub down,is the barman Percy he is soo rude obnoxious tbh. puts his own ppl from Sri Lanka first and is never rude to them.On the contrary he is very pleasant to them. Myself and friends will not go to the Casurani Tree again. The owner or management needs to get rid of him he's not in the right job.They will loose customers .

I thought I had booked 2 double beds for me and my daughter but I had misunderstood the booking and booked a double bed instead still they went out of their way to accommodate us and gave us a bigger room with 2 lovely and comfortable single beds. The bar downstairs was lovely and so was the barman who was nice enough to make me a delicious strawberry dakary just before closing time as I had just come back from visiting mum in hospital. Thank you guys for mine and my daughters stay and will definitely come back and recommend.👍😁

We stayed in a double room with ensuite facilities. Excellent amenities ( tea and coffee milk provided) Very clean .we slept well. We had a meal in the restaurant, very good . I enjoyed the butter chicken and a garlic naan . Host was attentive and checked we were satisfied with everything . Good overall stay

Ordered food via Deliveroo. The food was delivered damaged due to the restaurant not packing the food safely. When called the restaurant a lady answered the call rudely saying its not their restaurant’s fault. Its the restaurants responsibility to pack the food properly. This is the second time this has happened with Casuarina.

It is my birthday today and came to enjoy my day with my husband, the service was very poor, servers not to been seen around if need to order something, and when my husband went to the bar to tell the server that we are waiting for soo long to order than the guy who's name is Percy he insulted my husband saying we should not be sitting at the corner area, and rudly said that we should have sitting next to the kitchen if we need to be attended by servers, ruined my Birth Day, very bad experience,,,,.

Although hotel room included parking, received £100 fine. Informed Casuarina Tree who did not sort it out so my appeal was denied and I have had to pay.!!!

Ignore the reviews from fussy customers. The food is simply the best around. Prices are very reasonable. Guinness is amazing (don't know how they do this). Maybe you wait a little bit for the food but that's because they are making it fresh. Don't complain!!! Been coming here for ages and it's one of my favourites. A real gem, of you're not a fussy whingeing waster.

Once a three month I always visit this place for taste wonderful food. I drive more than one hour for taste this amazing food and the service. Speak to Ramesh, he will sort out all your needs.

This is one of our favourite places which provides variety of Srilankan dishes.Today we met Ramesh at the table who served us all throughout the meal.Very quiet as it was Sunday I guessed.Usually very busy.As always food were delicious and up to our standards.Also Ramesh recommended us some delicious fruit salad after all the other food.We had a nice friendly chat with him. Potion wise very good and as usual my partner and me ate half and brought the rest home as they always provided small containers for that if it’s too much.

We didn’t stay at this hotel. So I can’t describe about the hotel. We went to the restaurant in a weekend. It was so amazing experience for all of us. Because of the food Taste was so great. And the food preparation time was so quick. Also the staff service excellent. Specially we have to say Thanks to SHIJI. She done the great job. We love to have dinner again in very soon and we recommended about this restaurant to many of our friends as well. Thanks again to Casuarina Tree team.
