👍👍 The 'Real Madrid 'of UK Medal Auctions that overtook Spink in the late 1990's and now has 65% of the trade . I bought my first medal from them this week ( after 20 yrs away from hobby ) and was impressed with the professionalism . The website snipe system works and is easy to use . The front office... Probably the the highest profile auctioneers of medals in the world. The house has an amazing impact on collectors and their provenance is totally respected everywhere. Their commission rates are on the high side and they have led the way in this, now all houses seem to set the same or similar rates. I know as a fact that if you leave a bid with them they will buy it at the cheapest bid, you don't have to worry about things being bid up. Dispatch is swift and all in all it is a great joy dealing with them.

The 'Real Madrid 'of UK Medal Auctions that overtook Spink in the late 1990's and now has 65% of the trade . I bought my first medal from them this week ( after 20 yrs away from hobby ) and was impressed with the professionalism . The website snipe system works and is easy to use . The front office guy Fletch ( coins ) is really nice and took time with my questions . He gave me the time and its appreciated . The packaging is excellent when they send the Medal with double packing airmail envelope with bubble wrap + cardboard sandwich and PVC medal envelope Auctions fees are 24% so add to cost on Hammer . One thing to note is that the 'estimates ' are at 2000's prices and designed to ' entice ' bidding i presume . So expect to pay triple usually to win the medal . Overall its essential to be with DNW .

First time I bid on an online auction what a great experience all round What a great service bought coins on the 24th May received on 26th May well packaged is a understatement Customer service is excellent as I had a query sorted it straight the way for me. What I liked also when you bid it adds buyers premium plus vat on so you know what you are paying overall. Excellent be back for more Thanks Michael

Selling fake items on auctions. Unprofessional place.

As I wanted to obtain a rare coin valuation, I approached two auction houses: DNW and Spink. I was absolutely delighted with the service provided by Brad Hopper at DNW. The communication was second to none, he always replied to all my queries promptly and provided very detailed and professional valuation of my coin. His professionalism and friendly attitude have an impact on my future decisions, of whom to put my collection on auction with. In comparison, I was shocked by the lack of knowledge and the rudeness of the staff at Spink. My coin was initially wrongly identified and later, in person valuation I was just told " this is really nice coin, really nice coin". I would definitely recommend DNW to everyone. Once again, thank you Brad.

A disinterested auction firm that does not deign to reply to the e-mail I sent for information. There are much more professional ones in the collection community.

I wanted to highlight my experience with Dix, Noonan & Webb auction house. I approached DNW with an initial inquiry. And they responded promptly with my request to sell my medal collection. Like many actual recipients of awards and medals. There is an emotional attachment and initial hesitation. But I was put at ease by the guidance, authority and knowledge of Mr Pierce Noonan. A very friendly and approachable gentleman. I was requested to send all material relating to my military service and to work with the DNW team in creating a true account of the medals back story. This was to enable the bidder to have a real insight about the individual and events behind the medals. I was very impressed by the public user friendly web site. And the live auction web cam on the day my medals were auctioned. Very exciting stuff. Even better when the initial valuation estimate was doubled at the final hammer price. The after sale service was faultless. For all parties concerned. Thank you Philippa! A very satisfactory outcome.

Best auctioneers to deal with bar none. So many times you buy and its a pain to get items posted but the DNW post room are simply amazing. I purchased an item from an auction on Weds and it was delivered to me on Friday. Always friendly and professional to deal with, highly recommended!

From the initial friendly and knowledgeable valuation day through to the auction of my coins and antiquities the service offered by Noonans was outstanding. Very reasonable fees the cherry on the cake. 10/10. Don't hesitate.
