Very clean tidy and pleasant place to fish hope to come here as often as I can.

First time fishing there. It looks a bit basic but the roach were a really good stamp. No carp or bream as really too cold for them.

Nicely maintained swims, reasonable prices and clean loos. Good parking and well signposted.

Absolutely fantastic location beautiful manicured swims and a well stocked lake under 16 are not allowed which to me is a good thing. The owners are delightful and friendly. Superb fishery. Water quality looked great to me being a Spring fed ex gravel extraction pit. Limited facilities, I was told there is a toilet on the far side but didn't venture there.

Had a great time, 1st time fishing in 20 years Lots to relearn. Caught 4 Roach and 1 Perch Not big but I was happy. Venue good. Owners Lovely.Good prices. There are big ones, although I had a few big bites I lost them all

Absolute brilliant venue, nice and peaceful and each peg is spaced out so you have plenty of room. All pegs are hard standing so your not in the mud during the wetter months. The lake and surroundings are well maintained with a toilet on site. Owners are really friendly and offer advice if needed or just stopping for a chat. Great place 5*****

A great days fishing with my older brother. He caught a few. I had one at the end of my time there, a lovely 14ib carp. A lovely relaxing day in beautiful surroundings.

I'm disabled and used my electric scooter and trailer and it was easy to get to the swims and an enjoyable day's fishing

Lovely place to spend the day. Well maintained and well stocked. Only downside was a 9lb carp with a deformed mouth which had presumably been winched out without care or consideration.

Nice people running the site. Very polite, personable etc. Lake and swims are very well kept. I would give 5 stars but it is a bit of a no lips fishery. Some badly deformed stock which can only be the result of match fishing and poor fish care. In my opinion that is. Other than this, the price and everything else is brilliant.

Lovely run fishery with good stocks of various fish. Owner very friendly and helpful. Lake itself is well presented and maintained. Definitely recommend to anyone.

After a childhood of fishing, I've returned to the sport some 30 years later. This lake is perfect. Plenty of fish of all sizes. Nicely maintained swims. This late is deep from the edge onwards. Floaters need a 2m depth line.

Such a clean and well kept fishery. Ok, so, it was blowing a gale and freezing cold but still caught plenty. Owners very helpful. Only down point was the long walk to the toilets. No peeing bankside guys. Which is fair enough with such pristine swims.

Nice place, loads of fish but it's a bit small especially when there is a match on the lake too.

Used to love coming here but the fishes mouths are in terrible condition especially the bigger carp. May be something to do with the bivvy boys and 20lb line to drag fish in

Had an amazing day caught god knows how many carp got bites all day long can't wait to go back

Watmore is a clean&tidy, well-run mixed fishery. Unlike many modern commercials Watmore's lake is deep which presents challenges and opportunities :) Well worth a visit.

Nice lake, good parking and the person collecting money was very nice. Unfortunately it was a bad weather day today, especially as we were doing a silver fish only match, I caught lots of carp and very little silvers. Apparently it was fishing well last week, just one of those things. Will definately go there again.

Lake not aerated so fish not biting and silvers on the surface 😥
