Very lucky to have this place on my doorstep. It’s so beautiful, and very peaceful too. A place to go for a walk. Nice touch that there’s free parking as well.

Absolutely beautifully maintained gardens with a fascinating array of plants. In the spring and summer the colour is incredible, in the colder months you see snowdrops littering the lawns and are simply magical on a cold sunny day. As you enter, there is a pond and a little further on a short pond walk with mini waterfalls that end in a mini Stonehenge type structure! The walk has plenty of nooks and crannies to explore. It's delightful! There is a great tree for climbing. It stands proudly near a lawned area that is sandwiched between vibrant flower beds... perfect for picnics, photos and careful ball play! This garden is the most wonderful welcome to the forest that lies beyond. Very well worth a visit and, if you're lucky, you'll be able to spot the resident cats lounging about and reminding you this is your space to relax and soak up the view. Plenty of parking which is mercifully unrestricted! A rarity in Croydon so thank you for keeping the car park free and making it easy for visitors to keep returning!

This is a beautiful woodland with an array of colourful plants. Dogs are not permitted do its free of dog mess so you can foam freely around and there are benched of you need to stop at the various points. I took my cousin there not realising this was on my doorstep. I would recommend people come along and enjoy nature at its best and its got a lovely cafe you can have lunch in too.

Beautiful place, even after the new Croydon mayor cut all funds for its upkeeping. May = rododendron paradise in the middle of a dense wood!

Nice place to walk around, easy to forget you are only a few miles from central Croydon. Coach House cafe great for a pit stop. There’s usually something nice in bloom. There is a good view from the hill at the back of the gardens.

This is such a gorgeous and peaceful place to visit. The place is immaculate and the gardens are very well kept. One of the most beautiful places. The wooded area is fun for the kids with little nooks and tree trunk huts to explore. Nice to sit and listen to the birds. Absorb nature. Car park on site or accross the road, which arnt massive so I would assume would be a problem on busy days. In all I'd reccomend this park to anyone who loves nature. So tranquil and it is just stunning. The care taken in looking after it is awe inspiring.

That’s where one should go to see the glorious Rohdendum in the summer and many other summer flowers. The woods is small but beautiful with hundreds of years old pine trees. A truly amazing gem tucked away in Croydon

Love this place, definitely on the regular visit list for us. So nice to have this near by and worth a visit. They have a good old fashioned cafe with some interesting art for sale so great for a mid walk stop.

Love this park. A hidden gem! At the entrance is a pond which is home to koi fishes and some other species. There is an onsite cafe, not too far from the entrance, with a small garden area. They serve hot meals or snacks you can take away. The park isn't crowded so a great get away if you want a bit of peace and tranquility without having to fork out too much. With free parking you can make the most of your day without having the worry of topping up a parking meter. However if you're travelling by public transport, the park is very close to Croydon and accessible by tram. Lloyd Park Tram stop is the nearest stop. Well worth a visit!

Lovely maintained gardens and woodland including small and wonderful café. There's a lot of walkways through the garden and woodland. Fairly accessible to most parts and bear in mind that done of the walking through the woodland is quite hilly.

Beautiful, calm place. Perfect for forest bathing and meditation. A beautiful pond with a small waterfall for the sounds of running water. Stunning herbaceous borders. The cafe has excellent cakes. Friendly good service. No dogs allowed.

Although not a formal or colourful garden, the woods were great for kids to run around and explore. The café is great value and we appreciated the walled sheltered seating area.

Small, but enjoyable. Can get round it in 30min and that's at a gentle pace. Some parts are very steep. Lots of benches. On site cafe and toilets (toilets not very well kept). Parking on site and across the road.

Been coming here for years, always peaceful and tranquil. You cant hear the traffic in summer when all the tress and plant life are in full bloom which is a huge plus. Its great for lovely views and the sounds of nature. Last year I Had to tell Google it wasn't showing up on the map as Coombe Wood Gardens but just a nameless green area.

The gardens looked lovely, but was turned off by the amount of rubbish there was around the full bins. Loads of it. Why cant people take there rubbish home. Very disappointed. Tea rooms were nice .

Small but very pretty. Must go during summer to appreciate range of flowers. It also has a nice cafe serving very good breakfast. Parking is free along side and opposite the road. Please like if you find this useful.

Really fun day out and the local cafe is great - good day out if you’re in the Croydon area a hidden gem.

Lovely setting, ideally location and very popular with the locals especially with families. Great ice cream in the cafe! Unfortunately has been left untended for some time - no gardener. This is such a shame as it has tremendous potential and the plants which have survived give a flavour of what it was like in the past.

I am sitting in the restaurant while writing this message - the chef/Abdul running the place here is amazing despite the kitchen being closed soon he offered to take our orders for lunch. Yet to see the garden but feeling good already.

Very beautiful and lovely place to visit with kids, some hills ups and down but its worth to spend some good quality of time.

This is our go to place for cups of tea half way round our walk and when we feel like a lunch out. We always can be sure of a warm welcome, good service even when busy and great food. I had the duck wrap which was really good and my husband had the club sandwich which he just managed. The person who said it was expensive obviously hadn't been to the Lloyd park cafe!! This cafe is warmly recommended
