Beautiful Lake. Awesome views from chengalpat 🛤️ station. One thing about the lake is. The Water 💦 never drained here. Its is the Uniqueness of this lake. Definitely you will enjoy a Spectacular view of the Lake, especially who frequently travel in Local train, mostly at late evening

One of my favourite spot in chengalpattu, used to visit here alot in childhood days, very pleasant Memories.

Whenever you are travelling to chengalpattu u can see this beautiful scenery from train. If u are nearing the chengalpattu railway station do not forget to take your camera and shot this lake :) :) :)

Wonderful place for lake view

Huge spread of water. It is a pleasant sight to see the lake full from the railway coach.

For an unexpected eye, this may strike as part of an ocean, water in every direction as far the eyes can see, During monsoon season, the lake looks full and touching base with the railway lines to Chengalpattu junction. How deep it is can be assumed by the tiny catamarans scattered here and there. A great view but can't be a picnic spot because of no banks or any approach.

Definitely you will enjoy a Spectacular view of the Lake, especially who frequently travel in Local train, mostly at late evening local trains are halted here for signal clearance almost it will takes 5 -10mins, mild breeze and the lake view are best combination of all time. That makes even a Worst day turned into Wonderful day.

My area

Fully disappointed. Just a lake for fishing. Not a good view point. It's too far from the highway. But a big lake. Who are interested in bird photography, can find some kind of birds. It's just beside the Chengalpattu railway station.

Very good lake, spoilt by untreated sewage.
