I have never experienced such positive energy.. the temple is very powerful. It will give peace of mind. It has 1320 steps. What I suggest is... 1. Go alone 2. Leave your footwear before entering into steps 3. Step your first step at 6am 4. Feel the chill air and enjoy rising Sun

Powerful god, would recommend everyone to visit every Tuesdays. Road should be repaired but maintained well. Parking is fine, it would be great if they can put concrete or some floor for cars and bikes

Clean temple with great view of the town in evening time. This temple is situated on a mountain and we can reach top by both own vehicles as well as temple bus. It has good parking and rest room facilities also. Many hairpin bend are there while driving so new drivers should be little careful. Evening time should be ideal for photo of the town.

This temple is situated on a small hill. People can reach the temple by car or bike by road on the temple. This road has almost 9. Hairpin bends to reach the temple. If people are coming by bus to chennimalai they need to get off at chennimalai town and then need to take temple bus available at foothills to reach temple. Frequent bus services are available to chennimalai from Erode, Arachalur, Uthukuli, Perundurai and kangeyam. There is no closing time of temple at afternoon. So people can worship Lord murugan for full day time

I went early Morning around 7 and it was not crowded. I parked the car at the foothill and hiked all the way up. Not gonna lie, it was a tough hike but plenty of shades to sit and enjoy the flowers and the animals. Be careful with the bags though, there are aggressive gang of monkeys that nearly got my bag away. I had to put my bag under my shirt in order for them to leave me. Even then one of them was trying it's best. They ar every bold. You can also drive up too. There is a car park up the hill with plenty of room. The temple itself is very nice too. I recommend going in the mornings or evenings.

The temple campus has Many temple includes Subramanya Swamy (Murugan), Moolai Ganapathi, Kashi Vishwanath, Kashi Vishalatchi, Shri Amirthavalli , Shri Sundara Valli, Pinnakku Sithar Cave. You can enjoy the view of the Raja Gopuram and the Vel from the foot steps and from town Chennimalai. The vehicles (Car and Bike) can go upto the temple on the hill. This temple is located around 26km from Erode on the top of a hill around 300metres from sea level .We can drive to the top of the hill through a road consisting of 3 or 4 hairpin bends .View from the top of the hill is superb. Parking fee has to be paid at the check post at the foot of the hill before climbing. Hill consists of lots of flora and fauna. Peacock and monkeys are common

Lord Muruga is the famous god in this temple and every Tuesday is special day for this temple and more crowd on those days, frequent bus facilities will be provided on Tuesdays and less on other days. The best regarding this temple is on Tuesdays all Pooja things will be carried using cow or bull. Valli Deivanai temple is closing by 6 PM in evening on all days and Tuesday by 6.30

#Chennimalai #Murugantemple #ChennimalaiMurugan This temple is at a distance of approximately 25 - 30km from Erode Busstand, and hardly 13.km from Perunthirai busstand. Good connectivity of public transport is seen, also there are mini bus services till the top of the Chennimalai... By Trek one has to climb 1300 foot steps to reach the hill top, at the foot of the hills witness Idumban, and then proceed, in route there is Aathi Vinayagar temple, then move to the top to witness the divine supremacy of the Siragiri Lord Murugan. After the Moolavar sannidhi, there are Valli - Deiyvanai temple, followed by Pinnakau Siddhar cave. Temple architecture is grand, premises are clean and neat, a spectacular view of Erode - Coimbatore can be seen from hill top, also beware of monkeys you can see them more often trying to grab your eatbles. Month of visit : December Time : Morning 9 The floating population was moderate Avoid trekking bw 10-12

It's one of the oldest temples in this area. There is a belief that it was built even before the Palani temple. An entry ticket to this hill is 20 rupees for a car. A mini bus is in operation to reach the temple which is located on the top of the hill. A few hairpin bends and a slop. The temple is very clean, calm and beautiful.

A very good temple and a nice drive to reach there. You can travel by own vehicle until the top of the hill or the temple entrance. There are MONKEYS around, so carrying anything in carrybags or snacks is risky. Make sure to keep your vehicle windows closed.

I liked the atmosphere above. It was entirely different there. I had shaved my head below the hill itself and started to climb. The roads were having hair pin bends and road was narrow at some places. So drive carefully and we can see many monkeys on the way. There are ample parking spaces on top and bus service is also available. We can even climb temple by steps. The time is mildly crowded and has a cool breeze. Family can go there and pray to God and enjoy the journey and that atmosphere.

  • 5/5 Prem Swaroop J. 3 years ago on Google
Temple is atop a hill that can be accessed via car or a bus provided by the temple administration. For the adventurous ones, there's clean pathway to climb the hill by foot. Parking was free, there's a restroom as well. The premises of the temple are spotlessly clean. White topping on the floor provides respite during the hot summer days. There's monkey menace, beware of your snack bags.

A famous Murugan temple in Erode district. The deity is at the hill top and there are 2 ways to reach the temple either by walk or by driving a car. A 4km drive watching the monkeys, peacocks and scenic view of the city is truly a pleasure ride. It costs ₹20 to drive your car up to the hill. Tuesdays and Fridays will be crowded since these are special days for Lord Murugan. Another famous temple in proximity with this is Sivan malai which has a lot of beliefs and forecasts the world happenings through various elements.

This is one pf the murugan temple of Lord Murugan in Tamilnadu.thie hill id very lengthy. Distance of the temple from ground will be 4-5 kilometers. This temple has mid of the lengthy hill. But best experience in Here. We went to this temple mid of the week. So no crowd in there. And back side of the temple, valli theivanai temple is there. Between this temple and murugan temple. Free Food available via " Annathana thittam". After that valli theivanai temple. One sithar temple is there. Step is there from bottom top. Lord Murugan has very beautiful. Monkeys are there. So pls be careful from that.

Chennimalai murugan temple. One of the good places to visit and get the blessings from the greatest god Murugan. The temple is on the hill top , so you can go by steps as well as the vehicle to reach the temple. Govt buses also operated for this. Early morning will be the best option If you want to go by steps. On normal days it won't rush or crowds. The temple has annadhana scheme. Anyone like to give or sponsor that as well. Well maintained roads on the hill and free parking space.

Though they charge rs.20 to drive the car to the hill there's no one to regulate the parking.. As usual free dharsan takes time, there rs.20 n rs.50 dharsan which are faster n can worship the lord little nearer.. Behind lord Murugan if you claim about 50 - 60 steps there's a sithar cave, good to sit n meditate.. More monkeys 🐒 are there so if there's any plan to carry food or even flower to offer to lord be careful.

Had a great darshan on 16th December, Sunday morning at around 7:45 am. You can either climb 1300 steps or go by your own vehicle to hill top. Hilltop road is about 4km. There are buses available from 8:30 am to go uphill.

One of the great temple to visit near Tirupur. Bus facility is also available but if you have an own Car it would be good to drive the hills and climb around 200 steps to climb for Moolavar Sannidhi and Pinnakku Sidhar. Nice temple to visit and get blessings from Lord Muruga
