    Thiyagi Kodi Katha kumaran is one of the freedom fighter from tamilnadu and he died during fight with British police after he fell down by hitting in his head also he never let Indian flag down. Hence he named as Kodi Katha Kumaran and remembrance of him placed statue here.

    He was born in Chennimalai during his fight with British for the freedom he dint let our nation flag down on ground until his last breath. In memory of his sacrifice they kept memorial statue at Chennimalai. He was called as "thayagi kodikatha Kumaran ".
