We had our breakfast there. We had gathiya which was average. And had Papdi (fafda) that was delicious. Really like the texture. And there were serving hot. We also had jalebi and that was pretty delicious too. They serve fafda gathiya in a wooden basket with paper in it. And has chutnies like kadhi, green chutney, and pappaya-mango kachumbar. They also gave fried green chillies to eat with fafda and gathiya. Overall, I’d recommend fafda and jalebi.

Good experience and also nice taste of food but ordinary service. They not put any chair and desk here we might stand and eat.

Almost all type of gujrati snacks available but lack of cleanliness of staff as well as place. Taste is average. Location is good and lots of space available but owner should focus more on providing quality and cleanliness. Would not recommend to visit anyone.

I recommended for indian bheed-bhhad vali place. And tea. In full of chandkheda no one has making this type of TEA. Bet you go and taste it.

They serve in bamboo plates and those were dirty, felt gross. They have a great variety but can do better on the taste and hygiene end.

As a South Indian vegetarian traveler...this place was exciting. We could taste the entire Gujarati breakfast under one roof. Dhokla, Khandvi, Mirch Bajji, small and big samosa, Kachori, Muthiya, and Khadi.

They serve cold food, and staff don't even bother to consider customer's request to warm them.

We tried the special navtad samosa, tikdi bhajiya and mix bhajiyas and to our utter surprise it was good not the proper traditional taste but still good. Was little skeptical about oil and am always is but this place has never disappointed. Ofcourse live ganthiya is the main attraction here and we have been eating gathiyas at various ganthiya rath locations.

Its now became a food mall like place. You can get many food options there. The main place serves Gathiya, Fafda, Bhajiya etc which are not consistent in taste. Sometimes good, sometimes worst (specially in crowndy situation). They had given space for individual carts to different vendors in their premises with good food options like Maskabun, Vadapav, Dabeli, Panipuri n Bhel, Thepla, Handvo, Sandwiches etc. Price is pocket friendly but the main counter staff and every vendors are not so good in behaviour. Sometimes became very rude with customers.

Several items listed in their board were not available. The food was served in bamboo baskets that were dirty. The employees/servers at the counter didn't bother to cater to our requests. Attended to us at their free will. Also, the insides of the place looked shabby and unhygienic. The tables were not cleaned either. Food - the taste was a little above average. There are better tasting options for the same items in the vicinity. The star of this place was the tea. Pricing - looked fine

Swad Gathiya Rath is located at a very prominent place of Chandkheda on Ahmedabad - Mehsana Highway (At the entrance of Chandkheda from North) which serves variety of Gujarati snacks & dishes which include Gathiya, khaman, dhokla, Fafda, Jalebi, Gota, Patra and so on. The dishes are served in their unique bamboo basket with paper underneath. I most like their chutnies, kadhi, pappaya-mango kachumbar and fried green chillies accompanied with fafda and gathiya. Taste was good and one can visit this place for breakfast or brunch; however, have reduced one star owing to following areas where improvement is required: 1. Need to work on queue management as the customers have to struggle through two queues: one for advance payment and second to get the ordered food; 2. Cleanliness and hygiene level need to be improved as the tables were not found cleaned and the area inside the restaurant was too shabby; 3. Training must be imparted to the staff for being more humble, helpful and polite;

Jalebi & fafada is amazing. Love the taste. They use pure ghee/oil. Price is high but the food taste quality is also high.

When I visited this place, construction was happening but the food stalls was still open so I tried and I ate Vada pav and chole bhature but it's was not tasty and also there was dust in the air because of the construction. So , yeah my experience was bad.

Too many varieties... Live gathiya, bhajiya, gota etc gathiya is currently 60rs per 100gm but its very tasty... There green chutney is superb as per my taste.. loved❤️

Best services for food i ever seen I would say that the best service for food I have ever seen is at my local restaurant. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming and they always go out of their way to make sure that you are happy with your food. They also always make sure that your table is clean and tidy, which is really review for food services The food services at this hotel are excellent. The food is always fresh and tastes great. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend the food services at this to anyone.

Good place near chandkheda area to buy and eat light food , at swad which provides many fast food treditional food and beverage also. You may do some time pass 😜 during late night with friends and family 😊. Even BRTS is at walking distance.

Tasty Gathiya available here but there are no seats, would suggest this restaurant to have chairs and tables.

Whatever you order the taste and quality is below expectation, the chatni is like made of rubbish. Never tasted such chatni. Problem is they don't care to improve the quality. Sometimes the name is not enough, one should hard work for it...ambience is good but they don't want to improve quality and taste...

Nice place to sit and have tea. Haven't tried Gathiya yet..
