This newly opened cafe not only makes great reasonably priced food, but the proceeds from sales contributes towards helping the homeless. The contemporary decor and friendly staff provided a relaxed atmosphere, and I found it a restful place to have my delicious chicken and mozzarella ciabatta. With out doubt five stars for its ethos alone.

Don't do this often but felt the need today. Really nice cafรฉ here, spotless, friendly, helpful crew, and excellent value for money. All tasty too! I even took a book and have 3 or 4 ready to give to them to support the little library initiative. Of course, to boot, all helping towards a very worthy cause. Cant pay these guys enough credit for what they are doing...spot on!

Visited for the first time today, will be back, great coffee, can recommend the rhubarb and custard cheesecake! Great friendly customer service and lovely clean loo, can't fault it and it's helping out people who need some support as well

Desperate for lunch as I got off the metro and very short of time I called in here on spec to ask what they could do quickly. Wholly unphased they gave me some options and were as good as their word! Food and coffee both excellent (coffee better than certain well known chains). Lots of choice but all freshly made. I'd have loved to stay and try the cakes!

A lovely little coffee shop, very close and convenient for the metro. Always a warm and friendly welcome. Great for grownups and welcoming for kids also. Coffee is fantastic, grub is lovely, be it just for a cake or for breakfast/lunch. Would totally recommend :-)

They do some lovely cheesecakes! Big thumbs up for the Ferrero Rocher slice I had the other day. Big selection of sandwiches, paninis and jacket potatoes etc. The best part is by getting lunch here youโ€™re supporting a really good cause - Chai cafe is part of a social enterprise to support a local food bank and homelessness project. It can be busy so I recommend pre-ordering if youโ€™re in a rush.

Great coffee, great service, great food, great price! Glad itโ€™s open at a decent hour also - 7am. Most places over here donโ€™t open until 9am which I find strange.

๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ Whilst visiting family, we ate at The Hive for Sunday brunch. We had a reserved table, service was great and the food was amazing. I had the small breakfast which was delicious, especially the sausages. My latte was gorgeous but my sister tried the purple taro (and lavender I think) coffee. Such a p...

๐Ÿ‘ Breakfast with the family. Lovely food. Rosti was my choice this time. The egg "muffin" was aparrently tasty but was really two eggs in a white bread bun. Good food, pleasant staff, nice surroundings.
