The best place in Keswick for vegan only food. From Buddha bowls to a ‘full English’ … you should try the ‘black pudding’! Friendly service and good value.

Very friendly, homely cafe with a mouth watering menu and lovely views of the river from the upstairs window seat. Food and smoothies were amazing, well worth a visit! There’s also a fairly wide selection of vegan ingredients, snacks and sustainable products in Kat’s shop that’s part of the downstairs dinner.

Great service with a friendly team of staff and excellent and broad vegan menu! We loved the burgers, mac'n'cheeze, soup accompanied by some delicious smoothies and coffees! Had we not enjoyed the mains so much, we would have bought a slice of homemade cake which looked fab. We also noticed that Kat's has a selection of plant-based products to buy, such as cheeses, meat substitutes and chocolate.. in case you run out while you're away!

Really wanted this meal to be good, but just under 40 pounds for two winter salads and two fizzy drinks I was left very disappointed. The salad was salty, and had little flavour. A roasted potato, beetroot and some broccoli with a tiny amount of dressing, both my wife and I were pretty disappointed. I get vegan food seems to be priced high for the hipster market, but this meal was a little dry, little boring and a little overpriced.

These guys here are absolutely fantastic! We've always received a warm and friendly welcome, I don't have images from the last trip but we've been here around 7 times over the last few years and it's a must for when we visit Keswick! Located less than a minutes walk from Keswick's famous Moot Hall, it's situated right next to a beautiful stream which with the weather being nice is a fantastic place to sit for a coffee, bike stop, breakfast or lunch! The cafe itself is really cute with a great varied menu with something for everyone! With breakfast, burgers, ramen, cakes and desserts etc It's all Vegan and made onsite fresh by the staff who you can tell put a lot of care and attention into the food and the business itself. They have a few things you can buy, like chocolates and local produce and some fine art on the wall from local lake District artists. Definitely recommend!

Amazing vegan food, great for a hearty lunch. Came on Sunday, so could only get the Sunday roast menu, but there were 5 different protein options and the size large was perfect. Also delicious desserts, particularly the ginger cake. Nice outdoor seating.

We had a lovely Sunday lunch here on a recent trip to Keswick. The Yorkshire puddings were especially well made, and Kat was kind enough to come and chat to me about how she made them, as I was very curious, having had plenty of problematic vegan Yorkies over the years. A charming cafe with tasty grub and friendly staff, what more could you ask for?

I've been to many many vegan cafes and restaurants around the world and this is one of the best in the little town of kewisck in the lake district. My wife #tokyopony is vegan and never rates café / restaurant food normally but for once she thought this was incredible. I'm still sitting in kat's writing this that's how impressed we are we had to review ASAP (hardly ever leave reviews 5 out of 5)

After struggling to find hardly any vegan friendly places to eat at in the Lake District, I was really excited to find this place and to try their food. It did not disappoint. The food was so good, so much so I got a little too greedy and ordered far too much that I had to take some away with me. The owners and staff were super friendly and welcoming, and overall this was well worth a visit. Highly recommend a visit here. Also, the milkshakes were amazing, cotton candy milkshake with cream and marshmallows on top. I meant to take a photo but totally inhaled them as soon as they came to the table.

Such a cute little cafe and a joy to find fully vegan places to eat. We were amazed by the quality of food immediately ordering milkshakes when sitting down which were heavenly. I ordered the moving mountains burger which was cooked and presented beautifully, after trying someone else's Yorkshire pudding I immediately ordered just an entire plate of them with gravy they are the greatest things on the planet and I will return again just for the Yorkshire puddings. All homemade and I'd pay for the recipe. We left with some cakes (not pictured as they were devoured instantly). Would definitely recommend and we would be willing to travel all the way just to eat here.

Fantastic Sunday lunches. Just what we were after. The veg was fresh and not over-cooked at all. We had a Moroccan style rice roast, and the rosemary 'meat' slices. Both delicious. The cafe was busy but quick service. Another good reason to visit Keswick 🙂

Most amazing vegan food I have ever had. The tofu was out of this world. Went twice in one day as I had to go back in the afternoon for coffee and cake 1000% recommend. The staff were lovely also

Had delicious vegan food here on numerous visits to Keswick. The place is small and at times very busy but clearly this is a good sign! Tasty offerings for either a savoury or sweet tooth.

Superb in all respects. Visited twice during our week in Keswick and had a lovely welcome and delicious food, that was different to the run of the mill offered in most places. Vegan food that even the biggest carnivore will enjoy.

Really, enjoyed our dinner at this little gem in Keswick after a long day hiking! We had the squash Ragu and curry, both very nice but the star was the desert! A chocolate orange pudding and ice-cream!

Gorgeous vegan food - middle Eastern platter was delicious. Milkshakes are lovely too. Very covid safe and good, quick service. Wish we had room for cake!

Lovely owners and staff. Fantastic breakfast and lunch options including burgers, smoothies, cakes and more. Even if you’re not vegan, I guarantee you will love this place. My friend and I enjoyed many meals here during our stay in Keswick and look forward to returning. Thanks guys!

Had the Sunday Roast and it was amazing. Haven’t had a roast in link 8 years since going vegan and this was delicious. Had the rosemary and garlic “meat”. It was particularly good.

Amazing vegan food. It's so lovely to see so many great options for a vegan diet. We had a aubergine with tomato sauce and a vegan burger. Both were very good and I wish I had discovered this before the final day of my holiday!

Vegan food at its best. Freshly cooked and tasty. The staff are kind and helpful. We tried a couple of other restaurants in Keswick but nothing is a patch on this place. Would recommend earth bowl and burgers. They also do very nice cake and the hot chocolate with all the trimming is amazing!!!

Really friendly staff. We had the Spanish burger and it was absolutely excellent. Came with a side of potato salad, which was terrific. I also had some gluten free chocolate and orange cake, which was again amazing. The menu is clearly labelled for allergens and the staff are accommodating for any special needs or requirements. Would definitely come again the next time I'm in Keswick. Would recommend for anyone, vegan or otherwise.
