Absolutely loved it. Keep your belongings safe because there are a lot of sketchy people around and it's very busy. Everyone is trying to get the same photo and when taking a photo people walk in front of you. So a lot of patience is required. Plenty of places to buy a gelato to cool down and also refresh yourself with the water from the fountain. It's fantastic. Such a beautiful place. Enjoy and take in the surroundings. It's really lovely.

It’s an amazing fountain, it’s hard to believe that it was made from a big single piece of marble. Of course, there are so many tourists so be careful with your belongings. I also threw a coin wishing I could come back to Rome someday.

It is okay but I don't really get the hype with it. Rome is full of fountains, but this is maybe the biggest. It it extremely crowded. It is one of that places, landmarks you just need to cross of your list in a big city. From an architectural point of view it is very beautiful.

(Translated by Google) Exarchical Monastery of Santa Maria di Grottaferrata - Basilian Monks Greek Abbey. The territorial abbey of Santa Maria di Grottaferrata, also known as the Greek Abbey of San Nilo, is one of the three ecclesiastical districts of the Byzantine Catholic Church in Italy. Located in the municipality of the same name near Rome, it belongs to the ecclesiastical region of Lazio. This Byzantine-Greek rite Catholic abbey is a real gem. It was founded in the Byzantine era by a group of Greek monks from the south and from San Nilo da Rossano, a charismatic leader. The interiors have kept the charm of the Byzantine culture with its mosaics and icons. Very particular is the crypt with iron windows, from which the city takes its name. Inside the complex there is a library and school for the restoration of ancient books, unfortunately not open to visitors, a real pity. Beautiful view from the panoramic courtyard. Also worth seeing is the cryptoporticus annex from the 1st century BC. We highly recommend visiting it, as it is a fascinating place rich in history. To visit absolutely.

Beautiful and iconic. A must see. Was busy during the day, but we didn't have to wait long to get to the front. Went back at night hoping it would be quiet, for some nice night time photos, however it was still very busy at 10:30pm. So would suggest going very early instead.

Such an amazing piece of art! So well preserved. The structure and sculptures are beautiful, one of the most amazing places in Rome. It’s a shame that it’s always so crowded, because you have to wait a lot to get close to the fountain. The water is clean and has a beautiful color.

Magnificent piece of artwork. Can’t call it a fountain. Worth seeing. Located in the heart of Rome. Hidden among busy streets. Be ready to meet huge amount of people crowding in front of the fountain. If you fancy a picture without people then better to visit in very early morning.

Really beautiful area with a very impressive and famous water fountain. It’s always very busy here so it’s better to visit at night when it not as crowded. It’s always very nicely lit up with lights. I really enjoyed visiting the Trevi Fountain and I would definitely recommend checking it out.

This place was a lot more beautiful than I expected. The architecture was amazing and so well kept. It's very well lit at night and also really nice to look at it during the day. It's in a nice area with other beautiful buildings (one right across from the fountain, see picture) and souvenir shops! As many others say this is a must stop while your in Rome, you will not be disappointed!

This is a very popular and crowded are in Rome so it’s a bit difficult to get photos of the fountain if you want to only have yourself in the shot. The fountain is amazing to see in person as it’s architecture is immaculate and worth the visit. You maybe bothered by people trying to sell junk to you but overall must visit. The atmosphere is amazing and the fountain is featured in many different movies so it’s nice to be able to see in person.

Remarkable is all I can say. Beautiful white marble. It was a little crowded but didn't have a problem in the month of November. Getting some really good pictures. Definitely worth a visit and it's free and you can take some time and sit and just enjoy at the moment.

Of course this fountain is an amazing piece of Roman history and architecture... it's littered with tourists and it's a big turn off because everyone is trying to make IG reels . You barely see anyone sitting and enjoying the actual fountain these days. In person it's actually huge! The pictures can't give you an accurate size.

A very cool place. Fountain is impressive. But the amount of people around makes it difficult to get a good space and view. A lot of hustler who take pictures and stick out hand for money - this is my minus one star.

Cool place. It’s really grandiose and very peaceful despite of hundreds of people around it. It’s deep inside a very busy area of the city and I wasn’t expecting it to be so “in the middle” of the city. It’s literally surrounded (very closely) to busy streets with hundreds of people walking by, cars squeezing through them, scooters and delivery bikes crossing them all! In my mind this was in a large square or plaza, like many other monuments in Rome. It’s definitely worth the visit. You may even find a spot where you can take a picture that will give the impression that the place is only yours. I did, but I was definitely surrounded by a lot of people!

An absolute must see if you are in Rome. Gets packed very quickly/early in the day and through the day and late evening. But even so getting great pics isn’t hard to do.. just wait a short while.. Tip: offer to snap a pic of someone in front of you and they might just return the favor (and swap spots with you). 👍

One of my favorite places in Rome. Almost always crowded as it is surrounded by souvenir shops and restaurants. Early mornings can be a little quiet here but otherwise it's always full of tourists. Definitely a must visit at the night as well once the lights turn on.

Nice place, but too crowded, beautiful monuments around this place. There is a street market while coming to this place where you can shop, also a lot of street restaurants to enjoy the local food. We visited during evening, when the place was too crowded and it was during the Easter weekend time

Stunning! So glad we made time to swing by and see the majesty of this public art in a small unassuming square. Photos don't do it justice. It's especially impressive at night. We emerged from a small side street to see this massively gorgeous fountain with rippling turquoise water all lit up against the evening's black sky. Just glorious! I'd expect nothing less from Rome.

I visited this place twice in a week and I believe I'll come back there again. Just immaculate! So much attention to detail, intricate craftsmanship, special ambience. Highly visitable, usually pretty crowded but definitely worth seeing. The light there is perfect, by the way, one can easily take excellent pictures, always.

Many many tourists - but absolutely worth a visit. You can refill your bottles directly next to the fountain. Unfortunately you only can sit there and watch the water - it's not allowed to eat some ice cream or similar there. But that's also a good point, as everything is really clean nearby.

If you decide to go to the Trevi fountain, I would highly suggest going around 4 AM to 5 AM to beat the crowds if you want any good photos taken, if you’re not worried about a lot of people being in your photos, then you can go around 10 AM to 4 PM around 4 AM. They also have a crazy party there on the weekends which I heard is really fun, anywhere around there is going to charge a lot of money for exchange rates and also for any souvenirs I suggest walking about 2 km away before you get some thing for a reasonable price. if you have to use the restroom, a lot of the hotels in the area will let you use the restroom for free but you should tip them maybe one euro or two euros

Must see site to anyone going to Rome. Make sure you chuck a coin in the water. Legend says you will revisit if you do. All the coins go to charity. Stunning architecture and surrounds. Touristy setting with lots of places to eat and drink.

One of the most famous sites in Rome if not the world. It is very crowded during the day so it is probably best to visit early in the morning before the crowds build when you can admire this magnificent fountain in relative peace.

lucky to visit at a time when there are no tourists. A work worthy of a masterpiece. i threw 2 coins for 2 wishes (sorry for this greed). they will pick up your coins regularly, so there are no coins under the fountain. But it's all a matter of trust, isn't it? I witnessed a marriage proposal in the middle of the night here, the space was romantic and full of love. if yes, come here with the love of your life.

In my opinion the nicest of the usual tourist attractions, lovely little square & not too busy this time of year although I wonder in the summer if you could get anywhere near it. As you can see by the photo there is nice little bars around the plaza to watch the world go by & not overpriced. Lost a star because of the overflowing bins & rubbish on the floor around the fountain, needs bigger bins or more regular clean ups but overall a nice spot.

Magnificent place! Can't find words to say how impressive is this fountain. You can really feel the history here. The crowds is always huge - not only daytime but also midnight. But it's really worth to visit at night!

You must go here and throw a coin into the fountain to ensure your return to Rome. My best advice is to come here early in the morning as tourists are typically later to rise. During the daytime and into the evening, this attraction is jam packed with tourists, which makes it difficult to see, take pictures and even get close enough to toss in a coin. It’s a great place to people watch. Who knows, you my even witness a marriage proposal or two.

One of the "must see" points in Rome but always crowdy. The fountain itself is breathtaking and rally impresive but it is hard to make a good photo due to crowd :( Remember to throw a coin into it. Throw from right hand to the back over left arm - then, you might be sure you will go back to Rome;) The money from the fountain is later collected by official cleaners (with special vacuum pump) and it goes to charity. That is very nice approach:)

Very beautiful place! I only had time for a day in Rome so this place was one of places I went. I guess it's very crowded everyday but I didn't feel regret at all to visit one of the most famous fountain of the world. Even it looks super packed but still has room to walk through another side. There are security guards watching tourists and warning that you can't sit on the edge of the fountain.

Gorgeous place with lots of history. Sadly most people here were taking pictures and not really caring for why the fountain is important. It’s a very busy and crowded place. If you want to see it when it’s somewhat quiet, you have to go like 5-6 am. I would say anytime after 8, you’re not getting close enough to take a picture.

One of the best place to see in Rome , lovely at all times of the day. I preferred it in the evening. Good place to refill water bottles at the taps. Loads of food options nearby, especially ice cream. But a very busy monument and small streets leading to it. But still a must see location.

Stunning architecture, have seen it a few time in different times of the day. It looks amazing and different depending on the time of day. Can be busy but is definitely worth it. For couple or group pictures ask other tourists as they won't hassle you for money unlike certain 'photographers' there.

Rome is so beautiful There’s plenty of restaurants to choose from and be aware some you need to reserve a table as it gets very busy depending on the time of year you go. Weather was really hot so make sure you carry a water bit with you everywhere and there was water fountains dotted around to refill. Even though you do get pestered a lot by lucky lucky men trying to sell you water and you get the ones that seem to all have the same sales pitch trying to sell you wristbands and they even throw them at you so don’t be a fool and catch them because they will demand money even though they throw them saying that’s for you my friend.

The Fontana di Trevi, or Trevi Fountain, is a true masterpiece of Baroque art and one of Rome's most iconic landmarks. The fountain's striking design features a towering statue of Neptune, flanked by two sea horses and a crowd of mythical figures. Visitors are encouraged to throw a coin over their shoulder into the fountain, a tradition said to ensure a return trip to Rome. The fountain is particularly beautiful at night, when its waters are illuminated by a warm glow. The fountain's intricate details and striking beauty make it a must-visit for anyone traveling to Rome. The area around the fountain is also home to many shops and restaurants, making it a great spot to take a break and enjoy the local culture. Despite being a busy tourist destination, the Fontana di Trevi remains a peaceful and awe-inspiring sight that shouldn't be missed.

Well, if you want to return to Rome u must visit and remember to throw a coin over your left shoulder with your right hand standing with your back to the fountain 😁. It's part of Rome to experience a great walk and a must photo has thousands of other tourists who stand with you. We had the luck to have our room a minute walk from the fountain so we came early to do the ceremony. But we were there at night also and its also great .

One of the most famous monuments in Rome was a little disappointing for us. The fountain is without a doubt beautiful, the work of art is truly amazing, but it is a bit unluckily placed - it's surrounded on all sides by large buildings, so there is quite a small space around the fountain for the large number of people who want to take pictures with the fountain. It was also surprising to discover that the fountain is fenced on all sides.

Absolutely beautiful structure and sculptures, if you don't go to see it on your visit you are just crazy. Beware - it's nearly always packed, take a selfie stick to get better shots or climb the steps of the church in the corner. I got lucky and arrived whilst it was relatively quiet, but worth it despite the crowds. As luck would have it a few really nice places to eat nearby too. Really worthwhile and beautiful.

Obviously worth the visit - the scale of the piece is breathtaking. Don't let anyone tell you it's overrated. Stays constantly busy from about 8am-2am, we enjoyed it most around 6am for photos. This fountain is so beautiful, the actual structure is breathtaking but the crowds really hinder your experience. It is so unbelievably crowded here at all hours except for probably 1am - 5am. It's hard to get a good photo with the amount of people, the coin toss is cute so I recommend doing that at least. You'll probably only be here for a few minutes

It’s in such a beautiful area, the sun and every angle especially the time we went was so great to see this fountain but the crowds really ruined the experience, unfortunately people are so rude they simply don’t care for anyone but their own experience and wouldn’t mind pushing or shoving you out of the way. Waiting almost in lines just to get to the front. We went in out of season times and still it was so overcrowded. We got to throw in the coin and make a wish which was iconic!

Beautiful Iconic Landmark with Captivating Atmosphere The Trevi Fountain is an absolute must-visit when in Rome, and it did not disappoint! This iconic landmark exudes charm and beauty from every angle. The grandeur of the fountain, coupled with the mesmerizing sound of cascading water, creates an enchanting atmosphere that's hard to resist. Throwing a coin into the fountain is a tradition I couldn't miss, and it felt truly magical to participate in this age-old custom. The architecture surrounding the fountain is stunning, providing a picturesque backdrop for photos and moments of reflection. Despite being a popular tourist spot, the Trevi Fountain somehow manages to retain its charm and allure. Visiting during quieter hours can enhance the experience, allowing for a more intimate connection with this historic masterpiece. Overall, I absolutely loved my visit to the Trevi Fountain and would highly recommend it to anyone exploring Rome. It's a captivating symbol of the city's rich history and a sight that's sure to leave a lasting impression.

Perhaps this is the last saint revered by both churches - Catholic and Orthodox, since already in 1054 a split occurred and the paths of the churches diverged. Saint Nile of Rossansky was born in Calabria in 910 into a Greek family, after the Arab conquest of southern Italy he was forced to wander a lot in different monasteries. His harsh and ascetic nature attracted people and monks to him, he enjoyed authority with the mighty of this world. Thus, Count Tuskulamskiy presented him with an abandoned antique villa in his domain, where Saint Nile, at the age of 94, in 1004 founded a monastery according to the Byzantine rite and soon died. The monastery has a difficult fate - it was under the patronage of popes, three of whom were representatives of the Tuskulan clan), was an arena of constant enmity between emperors and popes, as a result of which it was attacked and plundered. At the same time, huge land holdings and a favorable geographical location turned the monastery into one of the most important pilgrimage centers. The monastery's new prosperity is associated with the fall of Constantinople in 1453, when many Greek intellectuals were forced to flee the city captured by the Turks. So, from 1462 the monastery was headed by Bessarion of Nicea, who continued the library tradition laid down by St. Nile, increased the collection of manuscripts and manuscripts, and generally carried out a significant reconstruction of the monastery. Further, the monastery was headed by representatives of the family of the case Rovere and Column, Farnese, Barberini, Borghese. The happy life of the monastery continued and even the capture of Italy by Napoleon did not affect Grottaferrata - it was decided to preserve the monastery as a unique center of Byzantine culture. In 1874, despite the policy of secularizing church lands, the monastery was declared a National Treasure of Italy, the cult was preserved. Now the monastery is one of the three centers of the Italian-Albanian Catholic Church, in which the services are carried out according to the Byzantine rite. 12 monks from the order of Basilians carry out services in Greek according to the old typicon of the 11th century, written by Bartholomew the Younger. The first thing that shocks at the entrance to the main temple of the monastery - the Church of the Mother of God - is an indescribable fragrance that is felt only in Orthodox Greek churches. The temple was built in Romanesque style, the entrance is preceded by a deep columnar portico, followed by a narthex, above an ancient wooden door with a rich carved marble portal - the Deisis mosaic, everything dates back to the 11th century. On the right is an ancient 11th century baptismal font. Inside the church is three-aisled, with a Greek iconostasis, but with baroque elements of the putti type preserved from numerous changes. In the center is the revered icon of the 12th century Byzantine master Hodegetria. In the triumphal arch, after reconstruction in the 20th century, a 13th century fresco was unveiled depicting the Holy Trinity of the Fatherland type. On the sides it is framed by two mosaics of the 12-13th century depicting the scene of the Descent of the Holy Spirit on the Apostles. The floor of the basilica was made in the Cosmatesco style in the 12-13th century and is perfectly preserved. The interior of the basilica as a whole belongs to the restoration of the 18th century, when many of the mosaics and frescoes were lost. To the right of the entrance is the historic crypt of Ferrata, which gave the name to the monastery. A small square room from the pererin dates back to the 5th century, perhaps since the time of the antique villa there was a Christian chapel, and here, according to legend, the Retinue of the Nile prayed and the Mother of God appeared to him with instructions about the construction of the monastery. Another interesting chapel, the Farnese, was painted by the order of Cardinal Odoardo Farnese in 1608-1610 by the young Domenichino. The cycle is dedicated to the life of the founder, Neil Rossansky, portraits of the artist's contemporaries Guido Reni, Guercino and others are guessed in the faces of the characters. In the altar of the chapel there is an image of Annibale Carracci. About the scriptorium, and now the laboratory for the restoration of old books, the unique kiosk and the archaeological museum, I will tell you in the next post.

Beautiful destination and I guess the most crowded and picturesque place in Rome! 🦋 Everyone comes here and no wonder, the fountain is very gorgeous and unbelievably unique. I cam here during daylight and in the evening, and would advise to do the same: different photos you can make. Around the fountain, you will find many restaurants and cafes.

The Trevis Fountain is one of the most beautiful fountains in Rome and possibly the World. Beware, that there are a lot of people here. It is estimated that around 3.000 euro are tossed into the fountain every day. According to legend, tossing a coin over the shoulder will ensure a return to Rome. The coins tossed into the fountain are collected every night and given to the charity Caritas, who support Rome’s people in need.

It's one of the most look out for location in the Roam. Everyone who is visiting Roam for work or touristic purpose should visit the travi fountain. The area is pretty clean and well managed and it looks really good. One can spent almost an hour or so here, beyond it there is very less to do.

  • 4/5 Alfred S. 2 years ago on Google
Just about everything in Rome is beautiful and the Trevi Fountain is no different. We ended up here on New Year's Eve and decided to brave the crowd to throw some coins in. As one of our tour guides mentioned, wherever there is a hole with water, people will throw coins in. Anyway, we had fun. It's a nice place to feel goofy for a minute in-between tours.

We arrived at the Trevi Fountain at 9 to find we were not alone! It wasn't crowded but it certainly wasn't easy to get a shot without people in it. The fountain is in a small square and surrounded by tall buildings so half of it was in shadow and half in bright sunlight. It was lovely though and while we were there an Irish guy proposed to his fiance so Deb was all teary!

These pics are from Nov 2019 ( just before the world got hit by this pandemic). This place was overcrowded all the time( for obvious reasons).. It's just amazing..We went there almost every evening (during our stay in Rome) to just sit by the fountain.

  • 5/5 Sarah S. 2 years ago on Google
This is one of my favorite places in Rome! It is always very busy during the daytime which is why we went in the evening. Don't forget to participate in the Roman tradition of tossing a coin in to ensure your return to Rome. I did on my first visit and, while it may have taken a little over 20 years, I made it back! The whole area around the Trevi fountain is a treasure so take advantage and wander through those ancient streets.

This beautiful historic fountain is well worth visiting, but try to go early in the morning so that you are not inundated by tourist crowds. It is a tourist magnet, especially in the summer, and of course wherever there are tourists there are also pickpockets. There is a fairly large contingent of police and military posted as well, so it seems like security is generally not an issue. One of the nice things about this fountain is that people come here on special occasions, such as weddings and baptisms, because of the purported luck conferred by dropping coins in the fountain. You can also drink water at one side, where you will find a permanently flowing water tap. In addition to the beautiful statuary, you can also see some of the underground rock upon which Rome is built.

Visited several times during a 4-day stay, seemed busier every time we passed it. Still got very good pictures but I couldn't venture a guess as to the best time to visit, late night 11:30pm(23:30) was the most crowded time strangely enough.

One of the main historical landmarks in Rome. The fountain itself is very detailed, beautiful and significantly shapes the nearby places. Unfortunately, it is usually very crowded, so the best times to visit it might be very early in the morning during the summer. Still recommending to visit and enjoy the vibe, beauty, atmosphere and art.

When i was starting to become a bit numb to the many amazing sights in Rome, this fountain made me go WOW. Pictures just don't show you the sheer size of this thing. It was very busy but still accessible and you could easily get up close to it. Very impressive.

This is a must see attraction while visiting Rome. It's a quick stop to rest and admire the sculptures of the fountain. It's massive and magnificent. The place is usually very crowded but it's worth to pass by and enjoy an ice cream. Don't forget to make a wish while throwing a coin in not facing the fountain.

The Trevi Fountain is a must-see attraction in Rome, and it's easy to understand why. The fountain itself is stunningly beautiful, with intricate details and a powerful presence that is truly breathtaking. Of course, being such a popular attraction, it's always busy and can be quite crowded, but it's absolutely worth it to see the fountain in person. Despite the crowds, it's still possible to find a spot to stand and take in the beauty of the fountain. It's also a great place for people-watching, as tourists and locals alike come to the fountain to toss coins and make wishes.

We had a great time in the fountain with friends and took some lovely pictures. It was enjoyable to be in the water, tossing coins and making memories. It's another bucket list location which we visited in July 2023, yes, when the weather was hitting 40C! Not ideal but didn't spoil the experience. The fountain is truly amazing, make sure to really spend time looking over the detail of the fountain, lots of gems within the design of it. Just remember it's a popular spot, you are not going to get the place to yourself by any means. Easily thousands at any one time. Also worth visiting both in the day time and at night.

Gorgeous fountain, as beautiful and cool a structure as the hype, but there was basically a mob around the area (we went in April, on a weekday morning, should've been off-peak, so I can't imagine what it must be like in the summer), which severely hampered the experience. Nevertheless, still worth going, a lot of lovely shops nearby. Just don't expect to get pictures without people in them!

Super touristy and crazy crowded but well worth it. Even at 8am in the middle of June, the fountain was already crowded but still no where near the crowd later in the day! It got so packed at 3pm that I headed up to the bar at the hotel overlooking the fountain instead to escape the crowd and it was well worth with a view from a different angle.

Obviously, the fountain is beautiful. We came twice when it was so crowded we did not get close to the fountain. On our last day we woke up before dawn and arrived before 6 AM...there was probably only 20 people there. So it was a really nice experience. Unfortunately, there was no control over the street vendors during crowded times. This was the only place in Italy where we were approached not once but twice by people who were obviously trying to pick our pockets.

  • 5/5 Christine C. 10 months ago on Google
We got there around 830am and thought it was going to be packed but it really wasn't too bad. The fountain is huge and gorgeous and definitely worth the stop to see it. When done admiring it, walk all the way to the right of the fountain and there is a smaller fountain where you can fill up your water bottles and take more pictures.

The Trevi Fountain in Rome is a masterpiece of Baroque artistry. Its grandeur and intricacy leave a lasting impression. The cascading waters and mythological sculptures create a mesmerizing spectacle. Tossing a coin over your left shoulder into the fountain is a tradition, believed to ensure a return to Rome. The square surrounding the fountain is always abuzz with visitors, adding to its lively atmosphere. Lit up at night, it's a sight to behold. The Trevi Fountain is a symbol of Rome's eternal charm and a must-see for any traveler in the city.

It is a really nice fountain. The architecture and design of the Trevi Fountain is just brilliant. With it being free, it can get very crowded very fast so I recommend going really early if you want it all to yourself. You can also go late or choose the off season.

Popular tourist spot for a reason. It is quite spectacular to see this in person and up front. Lots of tourists taking pictures and posing in front of the fountain. We visited in the morning and it was quite busy.

I DONT really have to go into too much details because the proof is already in the puddling! But, the Trevi fountain is a great historic landmark. It's always crowded so it's best for you to visit early in the morning. Overall I give this spot a 10/10 and highly recommend.

The fountain was a spectacular site today surrounded with beautiful weather, we arrived at 15:00 local time on a Tuesday and safe to say there were at least 1500 people there taking photos and all pushing to get a photo close to the fountains edge. It's very hard to get through the crowd. Beautiful clear water with an aqua blue background. Very happy to have seen it first hand. 😀

Beautiful fountain. We went there twice. Got there first early at 930am and it was still busy. Not nearly as freaking busy as it was at 230pm though lol. If you want great pics get there early. Also I suggest checking out some good guides on YouTube to get the history of the fountain.

Gorgeous but crazy crowded ALL day. Got there at 645am and it was already packed but not nearly as packed as it gets the rest of the day/ night! The right corner is the perfect spot to get great pics and get out of the crowd!

📅 28-02-2023 📍 Rome, Italy Trevi Fountain in Rome is undeniably beautiful, but the crowds can be overwhelming. Even in February, it attracts a large number of visitors. Navigating through the crowd and finding a good view can be challenging. Consider visiting during quieter times for a more enjoyable experience. Overall, the fountain itself is stunning, but the crowded atmosphere detracts from the overall experience.

I have visited Trevi Fountain October 2023, they are in the maintenance so the water falls doesn’t work. But still beautiful in the architecture. If you’re wanting to visit and have beautiful photos recommend to check if they finished ❤️🇮🇹

Cool to see, but as everyone knows it can be extremely crowded during the day. Tip: go to one of the sides and you will be able to get closer with less of a crowd. If you go at night or early in the morning the crowds seem to much less.

Overcrowding place, but absolutely amazing! Very early or very late in the evening you may have more space to admire it. It's totally worth it. I would also recommend visiting it as part of a tour to learn many of the details that describe it. Did you know that there is also an optical illusion here (check the windows) ?

A place you have to visit in Rome, I had the bad luck of going on their cleaning day but it was still pretty crowded there, beautiful place but try to go super early in the morning near sunrise because this place is packed. If you want good pictures go to the United Colors Of Benetton, up the stairs to the first floor and look for the window. It’s a great view if you wanna take pictures away from the crowd and show the view of the fountain.

Be prepared as this will be very crowded, but people tend to move along once they take their pictures. It is beautiful to see. There are some places around to go and get a bite and get a nice walk.

Great spot to sit and rest from walking. The fountain has an incredible historic background. On the other side, the place is so crowded and need to wait in line for a picture. Please have in mind that you can’t enter with food and pick coins from the fountain is illegal. Keep an extra eye on your belongings.

The Trevi Fountain is a dazzling masterpiece of Baroque artistry in the heart of Rome. Its grandeur, intricate sculptures, and the iconic Neptune centerpiece create a captivating spectacle. The tradition of tossing a coin over the left shoulder into the fountain to ensure a return to Rome adds a touch of whimsy. While it can be crowded, especially in peak tourist seasons, the fountain's beauty makes it a must-see. The play of light on the marble and the sound of cascading water enhance the overall enchanting experience at the Trevi Fountain.

Perfect place for pictures and sharing a "gelato" with your friends or that special someone. It's beautiful and don't forget to throw your coin and make a wish. Also you can drink the water from a special fountain because it is said that he who drinks from the water of the fountain, gets back to Rome. So, you never know ;)

This is The Fountain you absolutely must visit if you are in Rome. One of the most beautiful in the world, as they say. The square is nice but quite small - gets very crowded and photo taking is a bit of a challenge. Toss a coin in order to come back here again 😀.

Gorgeous fountain with beautiful sculptures all over it. It is definitely worth to visit! It is getting pretty busy during the day, however you still will be able to take a good look of it and take some pictures

The really neat thing about this fountain is that it is from the 1700’s. It’s shoulder to shoulder packed however and not friendly people around you. There are tons of vendors selling junk and they get right in your face. Some of these things ruin the experience of such a beautiful fountain. There are many beautiful shoppes and restaurants just footsteps away in all the surrounding areas.

We rode a hop on hop off bus around town and stopped here. It was much larger and more impressive then we expected. A huge crowd was gathered around taking pictures so if nay be worth going early in the day.
