Super Hotel in Forest. Hotel is very nice. Perfect location in a forest with a lake. Wonderful forest walks. SPA is also very good. But you need to book Sauna in advance. Only local beer Bierwelle is missing in hotel.

The hotel is located in the middle of the pine tree forest. The rooms are clean and nice. One bonus is that they thought about power outlets in convenient places. The bathroom facilities show signs of aging but nothing critical. The breakfast was good, the selection is somewhat limited but the quality of food was very good, so no problems there.

No way a SPA, but a very good forest hotel. Good breakfast, decent restaurants - same kitchen, yet Yeger looks simply better - for my taste, of course. Two small glass cabins (sauna and hamam) and a salt room - each for 4 people max. A bit an overkill to call it a spa..

Unbelievably nice, calm & cozy place. Friendly stuff. Has plenty of activities for kids(day animation) & adults (spa, swimming pool, water aerobics, etc) Perfect place to spend a weekend

Perfect and confortable rooms. A la carte restaurant excellent. Very nice pool not overcrowded. bicycles for rent for a tour in quiet forest and nice river. breakfast included and very good. Breakfast room is not so nice. There should be the possibility to take breakfest in open air / terrasse.

Unexpectedly nice, calm and relaxing! Very good for families. Welcoming and helpful team, really good meal in the restaurant. A forest around, as well as miles of walking and great cross-country running paths! Also 20 minutes drive to Chernigov downtown. Love it!

We were in Shishkin twice for weekend Birthdays, first in 2014, and then in 2019 with our 4 y. o. Daughter. Place is amazing and unique in its way - hotel complex 30 km from Chernihiv, situated in the middle of pine forest, surrounded by rivers and nature, with lots of Children playgrounds (our Daughter loved it), summer swimming pool, spa area and wooden bania (Russian sauna). In category of Family weekend spot it is close to perfection and from organizational point of view it is even better - they have daily planned activities for Children with special Staff dedicated to it. Rooms are comfortable, breakfasts are great and there are 2 disadvantages which cause my overall rate to be 4\5 instead of obvious 5 - first one is slight and wouldnt count if singular => inside swimming pool is poor and becomes quite uncomfortable when more than 2 person attend; second is heavy duty sin and it actually sucks (wasn't an issue in 2014 btw but was in 2019) - restaurant food is really disapointing :( menu is quite poor and food is even worse - i would rate it 2,5/10. Will definetly give them 3rd chance and hope they find Chief matching overall great impression till that time.
