A great landmark, even if it was completely rebuilt in the 1970s. The strange preservation of a 19th century wall behind it looks odd though

A cool building right in the centre of Chernihiv. There is a fountain show in the evening so I recommend in the evening around sunset sitting on 1 of the many park benches people watch/read/enjoym

There was a 12th-century church here, now a new building, a replication. Looks very new. If there was a detailed explanation of why it was broken, why it was restored, perhaps it would be perceived as more real

The church is very beautiful both outside and inside. I give five stars to the architectural building! But, there is always a but... I visited there on Sunday and got to the service... Within 15 minutes of my presence, the holy father announced (I am conveying the gist, since I do not remember verbatim): tourists are unwelcome guests in the church, as there is no need to go to the church just to look, it annoys him !

Calm, green and tidy city. Recommended for a weekend walk

Nice place to visit. Legendary church is situated in a renovated Bohdan Hmelnitskiy Park with beautiful fontaines. You can start your walk around the city here and you can reach nice cafes and restaurants in a walking distance.
