One of the most spectacular places in Ukraine to visit. A capital of Hetman Ukraine.

Excellent example of renovation of abandoned historical palace. Huge number of similar buildings still needed to be renovation along the country

Both inside and outside are a must to visit. The inside guided tour tells a wonderful story of the palace and of it's history. There are many beautiful exhibits.

Place to visit! One cannot expect so rich by exposition, beauty of architecture, nature around in the middle of nowhere! Precious historical place to visit. Pass by while driving on Kyiv-russia car route!

Stop at Baturin and enjoy a unique feeling of a quint Ukrainian provincial town with remnants of formerly Cossack capital of Ukraine. The Rozumovskyi Palace was built by and for the last Cossack Hetman Kyrilo Rozumovsky in XVIII century - brother of morganatic husband of daughter of Peter the Great and Russian Empress Elisabeth the Second. Unfortunately , the palace and beautiful park met a fate of nearly complete distraction after WWI and consequent revolutions. Former Ukrainian President Yuschenko invested his personal influence to rebuilt the place. Not everything was done in style and taste but the effort must be recognized. The place is of considerable tourist potential.

You cannot enter the premises without the group of other tourists with guide. Strange policy.

It is the big and beautiful building for the North East Ukraine. But visiting is possible if you are no less than five people. Because an excursion is obviously. There are a lot of modern stuff that seem to old one.

Great reconstruction work, though both additional houses are not done yet. You get inside only if you book a tour which is definitely a must.
