It is certainly a place to visit in the Eastern part of Ukraine. The mansion of sugar kings of the Russian Empire Ternovsky and Kharitonenko had been a local nest for Ukrainian and Russian artistic and literature elite of XIX century. Ukrainian literature icon Taras Shevchenko and Russian composer Mikhail Glinka spent their best times here. The Palace is well-looked after but still requires major renovation, the part needs an expert touch too. If the weather is good this place would give you unforgettable memories and joy.

What a nice location! It’s territory is nice and clean. Unfortunately building itself could use some maintenance and that’s visible. Palace is surrounded by a beautiful park where you can spend a few hours enjoying fresh air and views. You can get some water and refreshments at a caffe too.

Very interesting historical place. The beautiful park takes 500 hectares around the palace. You can come to hike, to bike or just to take a guided tour to the palace.

Nice place to walk. The manor is beautiful outside but with poor interior.

Perfect and relaxing nature with astonishing views. The history of the place is exciting too. Some attractions for kids are available. The current status of buildings and palaces leaves much to be desired. There is a huge room for improvement. But in general Kachanivka has a huge potential for tourism.

It's huge and beautiful, while significantly ruined. The park is most awesome, the pond views are splendid, the mansion should be restored to be as great, but the ghost of the past is still there.
