Very pushy and rude about applying for their credit card just to get "member prices" I don't enjoy shopping while getting a long sales pitch about your credit card! I get it, employees get a commission but there's no need to be rude to a customer just because they turn it down.

As a fisherman, Bass Pro is better now. And although I can't afford one, I love the new section with the bass boats. Once they get the huge aquarium, the transformation will be complete. All of us fishermen will have it stocked the first weekend!

Really good quality spring goods at name brand prices. This is an outpost store, so not as much as the others. The boats are off-limits for some reason. There are lots of ammo and good gun selection. Clothes are of really good quality with equally high prices. The clearance items are the only thing the average person can afford.

Good store. Lots of a choices. But the man named David in the firearms department was very rude . My husband and I were just looking to see what type of firearm I would like to have , not purchasing . David proceeded to tell me out of all the firearms they have, he would only recommend three for me because I'm a female and the size of the guns were smaller so it was better and easier for females to handle according to him . I did not appreciate that comment at all. He was very rude and pushy and sexist . Don't recommend him at all . The store as a whole is great .

It is a low income trash environment taking advantage of people too stupid to realize they aren’t investing in an American company because they use the word bass and apparently an interpretive dance and lower numbers in the IQ range. Believe that means America! Wow, it may represent the best in American entrepreneurship. It’s not American owned. Their brands are made by others and everything is second rate… and if you call me a liar, you’re too ignorant to look it up🤷🏻

Cabelas is a nice place to go. They have things set up for Santa right now, they have a nice bench to sit on if your fellow shopper is taking a while and they have a large selection of Gerber knives as well. The only thing right now is that they are almost too full of merchandise which makes it hard to walk around.

Jonathan was excellent help. We took our 10 year old daughter to try out a compound bow and he spent the time with her to get her comfortable. Excellent customer service.

I try to buy all of my hunting supplies from Bass Pro or Cabela’s. I appreciate their land conservation work. My wife and I both enjoy shopping there.

Well typically I don't leave negative reviews however; in this particular experience I feel quite strongly enough about to share. 3 weeks ago I went in to kill some time and was glancing at the shotguns when another customer (female) approached me and was picking my brain about different pistols. I happily obliged and we were having a nice conversation. Shortly into our conversation the salesmen (to whom she had already spoken to) saw his way into our talking and began to give the most condensing sales pitch to this poor woman I had ever saw. I'm sure if her husband was there the counter guys tone and demeanor would've been much different. But my point is, the salesmen need a class in social interaction because this woman was talked to like she was a " less than " and not a customer. It was to the point where I was on the verge of telling the prick at the counter to buzz off and let me help her. This does not reflect upon the people running the check out lanes in the front, they have always been friendly.. Here's a thought.. let the people running the front go train the gun counter guys how they should do their job. But I think I will keep my business anywhere but Basspro, at least in Augusta.

There was 7 in stock I ordered 9:45am all day it was in Progress for in store pickup! 5:45 it canceled. I got an email just after I placed the order stating fo not come to the store! Are you kidding me? Lesson learned store pick up is second place

If I could give zero stars, I would. Went in to purchase a handgun. The guy looked at me and sighed as he walked over. I asked about a specific handgun they didn't seem to have in stock; then pointed out one that I was interested in. He seemed irritated as he pulled it from the case. I tested the grip and placed it back on the counter. As I pulled out my wallet, he was putting it back in the case. I asked if he was going to sell it to me and he said no. So I left. I'll take my money elsewhere. Short white female has money to spend. If you don't want it, fine. Someone else will take it!

We've visited this Cabela's location multiple times and had problems nearly everytime we've visited. Particually with employees. The first problem was having to walk the entire store to find someone to open the dressing rooms. When I finally found employees they were chatting about personal things, I waited till their conversation was over and then asked if they could help me, they sighed heavily like it was a inconvenience and then said it wasn't their area but that they would do it(they were in the shoe area). The second time we went the cashier wouldn't stop complaining about the early hours she was working and that she had an awful migraine. We apologized that she felt badly, but the complaining wouldn't stop and it was very awkward and uncomfortable. Finally the last time we went on Sunday, we had multiple items and mentioned we were military and would like to use the military discount. The cashier hesitated but continued ringing the items up. No discount was applied and my husband mentioned it again just to be sure she heard us. When we left and walked to the car we realized she didn't apply it after all. I went inside to return the cart and ask another employee if we had been mistaken about them offering a discount, the cashier picked up a sign that said they did offer it and showed it to me. I mentioned our experience, they did not apologize or offer a solution, but she did say they've been really busy with black Friday stocking/sales and that the cashier must have just overlooked it. I think this is the last time we'll be back at this location.

There is a employee named Eddie I definitely recommend speaking with him if you have any questions he is extremely helpful and really professional. Now there is a guy in the firearms department I wanna say his name is David? I might be wrong but he is way to pushy and he was rude to me and my wife definitely recommend not going to him.

A very impressive and quite breathtaking Labor Day weekend display here at Cabela's Outpost, next door to Costco and across the way from Riverwatch Cinemas here in Augusta. I felt compelled to share a little here...

It's a nice little Cabela's. Just wandered around and saw what they had. I know it is an outfitters store, but I was a little disappointed at the selection of animals that the store had. Overall great place, I love these stores!

The prices have gone insane and I hope you're cool with accosted repeatedly about getting their instore credit card (3 times in 25 mins). It's mostly a clothing store more than anything at this point. The did have decent Lodge cast iron selection.

Very nice but small store. The employees were very friendly and knowledgeable and helped me with my purchases. This is a smaller Cabelas that doesn't carry boats or ATV's, but still a nice store for other items.

I have never had a negative experience with Cabela's. The store is always clean, it's always full of the best sporting equipment. My favorite section is the fishing section and their great selection of kayaks. My only gripe is that they are a bit overpriced compared to their competition, but they also have a bunch of stuff their local competition doesn't have.

Augusta Georgia location: Tony, an employee at the gun counter is the type of employee that makes a customer want to come back to the store. Highly knowledgeable, very friendly, went up and beyond to make my family and I enjoy our time there. Upbeat and high energy. . . Management, don't lose this employee over a $1 pay raise. . .

Amazing staff! All of you! From the guys in fishing to the very lovely lady checking us out! I will probably make it a point to shop her more often! Everything about this experience was wonderful today!

This is a great place to shop for outdoor goods such as hunting gear, boots, fishing equipment, firearms, or even clothes. It is also great to check out the fish tank and all of the taxidermy that they have in the store. I seem to spend at least an hour in the store each time I visit, and I always look forward to returning.
