My daughter just moved in and I love this apartment. It has ample space which is a pleasant surprise. The one bedroom is large enough in every aspect (bathroom, kitchen, living room and walk-in closet). I love the fact there are 3 locks and system that chimes. That's very important!!!! The surrounding area is also nice and Kaiser Permentae is being completed right next door, which you can just walk to.

The old management company was amazing. They worked with the tenants and always followed up immediately. The new management is horrible. Never call back or take care of problems. Apartments are nice, but the walls are super thin. You can hear neighbors next to you, above you and below you.

I was on an apartment search and went into the leasing office at 2:50 pm on 12/22/16. A sign was posted saying "be back at 3 pm." I decided to wait as I came all the way from Ashburn. A dark haired woman came in at 2:55 pm and said in a very rude tone, "what do you want?" with no greeting or nothing. I said "nothing from you now because of your attitude" and she goes, "well the office is closed". I was there during normal business hours and waited patiently for her 3 pm return, but apparently I did something wrong. I walked out and will NOT be back. They clearly do not want to rent to people-- and hire very salty individuals who hate their jobs--especially one like me who never misses a rent payment and is already rented from Fairfield for two years and never had this poor experience; I was appalled. I have NEVER been treated like this by anyone, let alone someone in customer service. I could see if I was rude to her, but I didn't say anything and was greeted with, "what do you want?" I have also emailed twice with an apartment inquiry and questions and received no response. I have contacted corporate with this experience. A tenant walked in while I was there and was also annoyed no one was in the office. She reported they always leave during business hours and never answer the phone. Don't rent here, if this is any indication the poor customer service you'll receive and the headaches that will surely ensue.

My wife and I had a great experience with The Preserve. We do travelling nursing contracts, so we needed a short-term 3 month rental. This place was by far the most reasonable price. It turned out to be a great place to live. Close to everything (shopping, groceries, hiking spots), great staff, and friendly neighbors.

I took a tour at The Preserve with Honesto Gregory, and I can't say enough positive things about this apartment complex. Staff was amazing and very polite. Apartments were clean and well kept. The area was safe and quiet. They are pet friendly which is a plus! I recommend touring this place!

I moved into this complex during a difficult transition in my personal life. From that rainy evening in which I walked in with no appointment I was met with such a warm and welcoming hello. Christine, is absolutely fabulous she was kind to me from our first conversation and she listened to my needs and some obstacles and her and her boss, Honesto went out of their way to turn a very stressful situation into a piece of cake. Something that touched me from day 1 was that there was no judgement about some of my obstacles renting just the opposite they gave me solutions. The grounds are impeccable and I have rented apartments, houses, and townhouses and this is the only pet friendly complex that u will not have to worry about where you walk. The amentities are pretty sweet and the place is really quiet and peaceful. It’s a very diverse complex which also makes it nice. I even have children and they always treat my kids amazingly. Last the other thing that I love is both agents live here as well so even when they are not working they are always there for you but you never feel watched. In fact I live in the same building as both and I personally love it. The apartments are updated and well maintained. I’m now going through my second time renting, I can definitely say The Preserve is my home! Wether you are looking for a fresh start, something temporary, or want to be close to everything, The Preserve through Fairfield is definitely a must see.

I don’t know where to start but all I can say is this place is AMAZING!!!!! Mrs. Christine was the most sweetest & helpful person ever!! My wife & I had a great experience visiting your apartments & a great relationship with Mrs. Christine. Even though we went there to look for a apartment for my aunt, Mrs. Christine made us feel like home, greeted us well, & offered us great customer experience. My wife really enjoyed the cookies & I enjoyed the coffee, it wa a delicious haha. My wife & I are happy that Mrs. Christine was able to close a deal today for my aunt & we will definitely be renting with you guys next year so we are excited to be part of such a amazing family. Once again thank you so much for everything Mrs. Christine you are the best!! We will see you soon.

On a random Monday, I came in without an appointment hoping to get a tour. Maxwell and Jay welcomed my girlfriend and me with such energy and professionalism. Maxwell took us on a tour and was great. I had some other places to look at after my tour but could not stop thinking about my experience at The Preserve. I called the next day asking for a quote but another person had already applied for the unit I wanted. I was disappointed but Maxwell and Jay reassure me that they would call me as soon as something else opens up or if the person who applied did not follow through with the application process. I got a call later that day from Jay who good me the apartment was available and emailed me a quote immediately. From the tour, the application, figuring out the deposit, and the move-in date, to signing my lease, Maxwell and Jay made the process easy and stress-free. 10/10 would recommend this place.

Lived at Catons Crossing for just over a year (had to move due to work, and not from the VA area) but really enjoyed my year living here. Within the year the property went through several upgrades (painted, added dog park, upgraded fitness equipment, etc) which shows their pro-activeness and commitment to up-keeping the grounds pleasurable for its residents. No, the property isn't perfect, there have been small issues, but so does every apartment. But the benefits greatly outweigh any inconveniences. Just in the new year there was a management change and most of those small things have improved. Some quick highlights on this apartment complex: - Nice staff and neighbors - Quick to fix any maintenance requests - Clean (pool, club house, fitness center, etc) - Safe (key fab locked entrance, general area is safe) Things to note: - If you travel into DC often expect traffic at the Woodbridge exit (as someone from the midwest the traffic is awful) - Not a super walkable area but really short drive to just about any store or restaurant and close to highway for travels I would highly recommend looking into this property & touring!

I really can't thank Skylar enough for helping us through this process. We are coming from a nightmare of an apartment so naturally I was overly cautious while apartment hunting all the way through move in. I had 100 questions, called a bunch and was probably annoying through it all, but Skylar was only ever helpful and positive through it all. Terrance was also super helpful and friendly. We are more than happy with this place and so excited to be here.
