**Update** New menu with new prices. Still amazing food! The 1 change we really noticed was the Poke Bowl. The Salmon and Tuna bowl now has pineapple chunks and large pieces of cucumber and no longer has edamame. Staff are still awesome, food is fast a delicious and its still very clean inside. Open inside once again! The place has a very old look to it from the outside, but damn are appearances deceiving. The food here is 100% amazing! We tried a bit of everything, the sushi pieces were thick cut with great rice portioning. The appetizers were piled high with toppings and packed with flavor. We also got a hibachi steak and noodles that without a doubt will keep you coming back. This restaurant has to be one of my favorite restaurants in Rockford now.

Amazing sushi we had California roll and twister roll both were spot on my daughter is a picky eater and she gobbled it all down it was on her request that we went to the sushi place and honestly first time in Rockford, we dine in staff was super friendly we also had shrimp noodle and roll everything was flavorful and fresh we will definitely be back.

As a fan of sushi, I am always trying to find a new place to check out. HACHI Sushi ROCKFORD did not let me down! This place has amazing sushi at affordable prices, my bank account was not hurting after a filling meal. The staff is friendly, the environment could use a little more charm but the food made up for it. I was a bit worried about raw sushi, but the fish was so fresh that I now fully trust this location!

Very underrated , prices are great , food is delicious what's not to like. Hibachi dinners are great better then shogun they have never messed up my order oh let's see what else the Philadelphia rolls are my go-to have to have them

Hachi hachi is a hidden gem that provides excellent service and quality food. The atmosphere is both calm and inviting to all those who have a love for delicious food and excellent service. Thinking back to when they first opened to present day it has only gotten better with every passing year and I personally look forward to enjoying more delicious opportunities with them in the future.

The Sushi is the best I ever tasted. The staff are so friendly. Very clean inside. We will be back! I order zombie roll， Godzilla roll， Tiger Roll is my favorite. And I order Poke bowl too， Make my own bowl it was amazing！ I love it ！❤️❤️❤️❤️😍😍😍highly recommend！！！

Was looking for sushi near me and this place was close to my house. I gave it try once, I came a second time and this will be my place to come back for many times. Great sushi 🍣 nice large rolls I loved it here to eat in or carry out which I did the second time. I recommend this place, just writing about it my mouth is getting watery 🤤.

We had fried rice and sushi, was amazed at the fried rice!! We couldn’t finish it and had it for breakfast the next day, yet it was still delicious!!

We ordered Poke Bowls and they were all delicious. The sauces were delicious as well. Service was excellent, they were busy and we only waited maybe 10 minutes for food at our table. Great little place and we will visit again.

AMAZING FOOD! I frequent this location over and over. They make everything Fresh and it's so good that I crave it often. I've has several Sushi Varieties and the Udon Steak dish is awesome.

Great place for cheaper, but still quality sushi. I don't have many pictures, just this one of their specials sign, but it got partially damaged throughout the day. Still, if you have a desire for sushi but don't want to spend too much highly recommend here. And if you get the hachi hachi roll, I might recommend you get just that, as there's more there than you think there will be.

Ordered Philadelphia rolls, side rice, gyoza & hibachi steak noodles. Everything was incredible and very fresh. High quality meat and a very friendly staff. Our new go to place!! The sushi was gluten free and safe.

Sushi made fresh - delightful. Five star. Hibachi was not our favorite but it was good. Three star. Staff was very helpful and considerate. Cool little place. Be sure to see the fish tank!

We come to hachi about once a month, because when we come, we order just about everything which gets to be well over $120, but for 3-4 people, that's a pretty good deal. Everything is made fresh to order, they bring the food to you, but drinks and trash are self-service, so they can provide you with the most delicious sushi in Winnebago County by far! We will be back next month, as usual!

Much room for improvement! They serve what seems to be good quality sushi meat and sauce but I wonder why they ruin it with hard/stiff , tasteless rice. Once the rice was ok but the next time it was stiff/hard. Both times it was tasteless (no hint of rice vinegar).

Mom and Pop prices and environment where an exceptional meal is brought to your table. We had the "Amazing" rolls and Steak Habachi. Both were impressive products served with excellence.

The servers were great and so was the food. The atmosphere wasn't the greatest because it felt like you had zero privacy. Other than that small detail, I will definitely be coming back!!
