I asked Jacobs to use the gold from my late father's wedding ring, together with the stones from my mother's engagement ring so that I was able to have a new ring I could wear and remember my Dad by. Mel and Kat were incredibly helpful and patient and put together some fab designs to choose from - I'm absolutely delighted with the result, it is better than I could have hoped for. They have created something very special for me - can't recommend Jacobs highly enough. Thank you!

Mariel is an angel. After the passing of my nan, I wanted to get the rings that she gave to me cleaned and polished. Naturally, I cried quite a bit and I cannot thank Mariel enough for how kind she was to me. Got my fiance's engagement ring resized here and my engagement ring designed and made here. Great service and going that extra mile every step of the way. Resizing service was super quick easy and hassle free. Reason for 4 stars and not 5 is the price as for the same work we could of gotten it cheaper but we were willing to pay the extra money to support a local Reading business.

I was planning on buying an engagement ring for my girlfriend. I had already decided on the ring I wanted to purchase by looking at the stock on their website. I was contacted by Jeanette, she is a very lovely lady and she made it all very easy for me. I told her the ring I wanted, and the ring size and she took care of the rest. I am very happy with the service and the short time it took for the ring to arrive, and my new fiancée is very, very happy indeed.

Went to visit here as my wife was looking to sell/ get information on some diamond rings she inherited. We found the staff member quite rude and assumed we knew lots about diamond rings (which we didn't, and even mentioned this to her). She was always talking to my wife about the rings even though I knew more about them and did most of the talking, when I would ask a question she would reply to my wife. It might just be that we had a bad member of staff on a bad day, but overall not a great experience when we were just looking for some advice.

I got engaged in December, and the first thing that me and my fiancé did was to find the perfect engagement ring. I knew a little about the things we needed to look for back then, but when we went to Jacobs the Jewellers, we gained substantial knowledge. Thanks to Philie because she explained everything! She showed me the different types of e-ring and, initially, I thought I would go for emerald but I realised I loved the round brilliant. I also loved the fact that my fiancé was so involved! Philie's communication with us was excellent too-she would respond in a timely manner whenever we contacted her through e-mail or in person. Laura in the design team helped me create my beautiful engagement ring, using a diamond we had from a family member and adding in a couple of new ones. The process was really simple and stress free. We also got both our wedding bands from Jacobs. Laura again helped me pick mine knowing what would suit sitting next to my engagement ring. Thank you all at Jacobs.

Adam and his team are always happy to help and nothing is too much trouble, they made the whole experience enjoyable from start to finish. I needed a little help and advice about choosing the perfect gift for my girlfriends special birthday. I was helped by Laura who took me patiently, step by step, through the Jacobs range and found a perfect Tag Heuer watch that matched my budget and most importantly my girlfriends lovely eclectic style. Post sales service was immaculate (links removed from the watch strap) and throughout the process I never felt rushed. Great service, excellent value and I whole heartily reccomend Jacobs.

My fiancé and were looking for wedding rings that were interesting, contemporary and classic. This puts us firmly in the category of "tricky customers". We had been looking for some time and decided to give Jacobs a try. The very patient and professional Laura walked us through a number of options, discussing materials and design in a knowledgeable and friendly way and we were able to find the perfect rings! Bravo Laura & Bravo Jacobs!

Rating given based on advice that during repair the ring hallmark would disappear. While I do understand that the hallmark comes from another country, but it is legally certified. Removing and leaving it without any hallmark would not make any sense as would remove the purity and assaying office certifications.

I wanted to find the perfect eternity ring for my wife and had looked for stock rings for many years. I knew that Jacobs did specialist designs and special commissions so got in touch. Although I could have had a bespoke design made specifically made for me, looking through their stock items there were designs that were nearly perfect but I wanted something that was a mixture of several with the stones to match the engagement ring. As suspected, this wasn't a problem and Laura was able able to combine the designs and match the stones from a photograph. The only drama was getting the ring size without my wife finding out! The final ring is perfect and exactly what I was after. My wife loved the surprise and got me many brownie points. It sits beautifully alongside her other rings. What I really admired was that I was shown what was on offer around my budget - both above and below. There was no hard sell to buy a more expensive ring, just a genuine desire to find exactly what I wanted. Lovely to find such a jewellers. A great experience from a wonderful Jewellers. Thank you Jacobs, I will return!

Could not thank Laura Mobbs enough, I went in to Jacobs to try and find a wedding ring that sat underneath my asymmetric engagement ring. Laura instantly knew what would be right for it and helped me alter this to match exactly what I was looking for. Laura also managed to sort this for us on a very tight deadline and kept us updated throughout the whole process. I have just collected the ring and it is perfect, I couldn't recommend Laura and Jacobs enough for sourcing this perfect ring. Thank you so much, we will be back in again soon.
