    I love this shops variety of furniture and household items. There's so many ideas they give you to make your house aesthetically pleasing. Their cafe is lovely and overlooks the car park. During busy periods you can watch the road rage from the cafe while sipping a latte. This Christmas eve, I watched people fighting in the car park, really getting aggressive, while I safely ate a festive mince pie, and contemplated buying a bean bag or a new none stick frying pan. I ended up buying scented candles which has brought by house an ambiance of joy with lemon and vanilla.

    Took my elderly mam to Dunelm today , she wanted a chair and rug. I asked a young lad who was working in the rug dept. He was lovely , sat us on a settee and did everything for us right there. Ordered the chair and rug she chose to be delivered and took payment right there. I wish I had got his name , he was very courteous and brilliant customer service. Well done young man

    Terrible - wrongly advised on measuring for M2M curtains. This problem was compounded by a pair being made shorter than ordered. I have raised this and the Customer Service response has simply been to dismiss and dispute what I've said. I feel awful and have hundreds of pounds worth of short curtain.

    Staff were a bit lack luster when the customer pointed out that that cleaning utensils were wrongly priced & all the reply was "the £2 item was put on the £1.40 stand by mistake. In the end we were refunded the difference but don't think the staff could be bothered to check as my sister took a photo of the stand to prove it. Don't think I will be shopping there again.

    Called on to pickup a large hurricane lantern that was reduced down to £35. Upon entering we were greeted by a 'Rita the greeter' who was cheery and pleasant. The store is quite deceptively large, very easy to wander around and lose your other half. They have a great selection of mirrors and photo frames. The bedding section is vast too. I love to browse around the crafting and haberdashery section, they have a great selection and I'm always tempted by their crafting kits. Coming up to spring they have a great selection of toys and games for the garden as well as picnic paraphernalia.

    It’s rare to come across such unprofessionalism. My wife and I took back some pillow cases to exchange, and because I forgot I had had the receipt emailed to me I was subsequently unable to produce it. I come from a time when emailing receipts just didn’t happen and got confused. Having received excellent customer service the previous week from the Maidstone branch, I was appalled at the lack of empathy from the manageress. Has she mentioned an emailed receipt it would have reminded me and I would have been able to produce it. Instead, I found the her to be so abrupt, and I just wanted to get rid of the pillowcases so I left them there frustrated at how unhelpful the she was. Definitely not what I would expect from somebody in her position.

    Horrendous experience in the Cramlington store today. The elderly persons behind the till have zero Common sense and tried to ID me for a cutlery set (with no sharp knives) . This wouldn't be an issue if I was a teenager or even in my 20's but I'm in my 30's and I have a trolley full of Rugs, pots, pans, mugs, cushions and other household items. Unfortunately I won't be spending any money in Dunelm from now on.

    Dunelm should staff in customer relations. I had two visits through the till, one return, the other exchange. I don’t think both staff members had please or thank you in their vocabulary.
