Having tried scones all over the UK, this cafe wins hands down. Amazing!! The cherry and marzipan cannot be beaten!!! The staff make you feel welcome and have brilliant customer service !!!

Stopped off for a cup of tea and a scone and a sausage roll. It was such a pleasant experience as the owner was so friendly and open. The scone and sausage roll were fresh and delicious. A lovely experience in the heart of beautiful Ripon.

The garden is a hidden gem and the owner is a great guy to chat with.

Absolutely loved our food here!! The toasties served with crisps and salad - a decent serving not 3 leaves like many places was generously served hot and tasty. It was freshly made by staff that are all sooooo nice. It’s like going to a friends to eat. If you’re on a day out or having a visit this is an absolute MUST!! This is from a person who’s very picky! We can’t wait to visit again they’re open everyday except Sunday. Thank you for making our visit so great.

Very good food and dog friendly and not too expensive. Good service and very tasty worth a visit and great to support your little locals. Nice little menu. Scones excellent 👌

Really nice, upmarket café just near Ripon Cathedral. Beautifully scrummy homemade scones, although our coffees were slow and only arrived after we'd finished our food. Other than that it would have been 5 stars. Worth a visit.

Lovely little coffee shop/tea rooms close to the cathedral. Beautiful courtyard garden to rear. Great, friendly service and fantastic home-made cheese scones. Rest of the food on offer looked good - shame we were only there for an afternoon coffee break or would have tried more

The best sandwich I have had in a very long time (chicken and avocado on white). Very friendly, unpretentious and welcoming. Dog friendly.

Brilliant little cafe. First time visiting today. So accommodating to our children . Lovely surroundings we even sat outside! Had the chicken sandwich and if was soooo tasty! Highly recommend!

We were very disappointed with ploughman's platter. There was no ham, cheese or bread. There was a severe excess of carbohydrates and a cheese scone with a ploughman's just isn't right. Unlikely to return. Also very expensive for what we had.
