    I began training with Glenn around 3 months ago and I was initially reluctant to work with a personal trainer, however it is the best thing I have done. I feel we have developed a great working relationship and I thank Glenn for all he has done and is continuing to do. Glenn is knowledgable and enthusiastic about his work and has really helped me to lose weight, get fitter and regain my confidence. I can't praise Glenn highly enough and really enjoy working with him. He keeps every single session challenging and always introduces new methods of training. If anyone is struggling for motivation, eating habits or needs a better knowledge about themselves physically and mentally give Glenn a shout. Thanks so much Glenn

    After years of almost-nearly-not quite getting back in to training, I knew I needed to seek out a Personal Trainer who would motivate me in the way I needed to keep coming back week after week. I started with Glenn in February, after a bit of research into the best qualified PT's in the region. Since doing so, I haven't looked back. The first few weeks were tough - really tough - but (unlike many PT's out there today) Glenn has the experience and knowledge to be able to know when to push me and, more importantly, when to stop and change what we're doing. I think his vast knowledge and ability to support clients psychologically, physiologically, nutritionally and through a variety of holistic well-being approaches sets him apart. Every session brings a degree of variety - it's always interesting, fun and I always learn. Now 4 months in and my progress has been significant, especially in the last month or so. I put this down to the fact that I now look forward to training and, with Glenn's coaching, I look after myself more outside of the gym also. Glenn wants his clients to succeed as much as, if not more than, they want it themselves. He's equally well suited to beginners or those, like me, who have let things slip on the way to 40. From experience, I genuinely can't recommend him highly enough. Liam Roberts

    What's the definition of a brilliant Personal Trainer??? The answer is Glenn Hill! I have been training with him for the past two months, and my body, health and mind have changed beyond belief. I've lost over a stone in weight, and my shape is much more toned. Glenn really listens to your goals and aspirations, then devises an individual plan to help you reach that result. Every session, we do something different, and I don't mean just using the cardio equipment in the gym. He focuses on every muscle group in the body, and explains how working each one has an effect somewhere else. Glenn is a true professional and really knows his stuff. After each session I feel exhilarated......and can't wait for the next! I have managed to achieve things I never in a million years thought I would be able to. I could have quite easily joined the gym....but without Glenn encouraging, supporting, planning my workouts with great thought and precision, I would never have achieved these results.......ever! Thanks Glenn you're a star!

    Worked with Glenn for a month now, workouts are really intensive and we focus on different muscle groups to other fitness coaches I have had in the past. I appreciated the in-depth approach he took with me at the start of our training programme, with the focus on recovery post-injury and healthy eating. I would highly recommend him as a personal fitness coach!

    I am a 56 year old woman who has exercised most of my life. I am self motivated and am always willing to try new things, so why did I decide to have a personal trainer? I wanted to be sure my technique was good and get rid of any bad habits. Why Glenn? He was recommended by a friend so I watched him at work in the gym and was impressed. I'm on my second block of personal training sessions with him this year and I enjoy the varied workouts, the new methods of doing things and the realisation that you can teach an old dog new tricks.     I regularly go to Glenn's classes and have also had PT sessions with him. Each class and PT session is different. He really taught me to mix up my workouts and not get stuck in a rut and I can see the results! Glenn is really friendly and approachable. You can also see that he is passionate about what he does and really wants to help people.

    Harry and I have recently started a training programme with Glenn we have found that Glenn’s knowledge and expertise in his particular field to be outstanding. He has helped us as oldies in a thoughtful caring and above all professional manner. We would highly recommend anyone to seek Glenn’s advice in keeping fit

    I thoroughly enjoy my training with Glenn, what I particularly like is the fact that we do something different almost every time I'm at the gym, be it going for a run, working out in one of the fitness suites or working with weights, press ups or cardio machines. He also takes into account my age!! and has made me realise I can do a lot more than I thought I could. Great stuff Glenn. Thanks.

    Honestly the best workout session I’ve had in a while. Glenn is Very motivating and always on time for any sessions whatsoever and the best part about it is Glenn will do his best for anyone to achieve their targets and motivate you and make you feel different in a physical and mental way.

😠 As a new member at Chester le Street Bannatyne Gym I witnessed someone spitting in the jacuzzi as they walked past. I challenged the person and reported this and nothing was said to the person. I cancelled my membership as this was obviously acceptable behaviour for Bannatyne staff.

👍👍 A friendly, no frills gym. The equipment is all in good order, the staff are always willing to help. Its not a glamorous country club with swimming pool and jacuzzi..but if you want to get fit, loose weight tone-up, this is could be the gym for you.
