Blacon Adventure Playground

Playground

👍👍 Amazing place for the kids to let off some steam and see some animals all in one place. My 2 girls love it and there is a bike / scooter track outside so no worries of them getting board... only problem you will have is trying to get them to leave. 👌🏼 People often mention kids, animals, amazing, area,

We stumbled across this looking on google for places nearby to take children for free. Kids absolutely loved it. They have petting farm but thst was closed due to staff shortage. You could still get glimpses of them through railings. There is big adventure playground with zip wire , climbing frames , hammoks . Little shop onsight really cheap. If we lived closer i think my lot would be there every dsy it was open

This place could be amazing. I think a small fee on the door would be great to go towards making the place feel more put together. There was gangs of teens congregating inside and lots of swearing from them, which is not ideal when you have little ears listening. But the climbing frame and swings etc are great. Lots of potential.

Absolutely amazing place if you have kids and like me are looking for a place cheap for the kids to burn energy this is the place it's free to go to and has plenty to do which burns lots of kids energy whilst parents get to chill there's on site toilets and a cheap tuk shop that sells ice cream sundaes for only 1.50 definetly recommend

Absolutely brilliant place to have locally and I'd say it's the type of place we'd pay to go in if we were on holiday so it's amazing that it's free. Loads of equipment, small football pitch, swings and farm area at the back. Staff are always friendly talking to the kids etc and after a few visits make an effort to remember their names which is good. Brilliant place and I couldn't recommend it enough If living in Chester or passing through.

Nice place but was a bit untidy with litter, sadly. I did think it was well supervised by the staff though, as they did remove a child who was being unkind to some others - seemed to be a youth club? Will revisit when the animal area is open

Great for locals to pop to but not really a destination place the animals were great just not many of them. my daughter was a little to old for this really at 11yrs but imagine it's great for younger children

Absolutely amazing play area. Plenty to do and very well staffed and clean. There was also a little farm to walk round and they even provided a free packed lunch for the kids. I would HIGHLY recommend it for kids of all ages. Mine are 3, 4 and 5 and all enjoyed it loads.

Great place for younger kids to play in an adventure playground. Ages 3 to 11 whilst I was there. Adults on site constantly to ensure everyone acts suitably. Third visit for my daughter. Loves it. Well done all those who volunteer to make this a great escape for youngsters.

Great little place, unbelievable for free entry. Staff are amazing & the little shop is a wonderful addition. Put those prices up though, people will happily pay more when they aren’t paying to enter & it really is worth it. Lovely time here with family
