Magical Christmas lights! Brilliant! Amazing! We went on Christmas eve. Definitely recommend this place. From the moment we arrived we were impressed. The area for food / rides / ice-skating and drinks was fab, lots of choice, under cover areas (which most places don't have). The burgers were expensive which you expect but they were delicious. The marquee with the large screens next to the light show was amazing, was lovely to have a large space to sit and have a drink and was decorated magically. The staff were amazing and made the experience fun. The light trail was on the short side but what was there was magical and I'm sure this will improve with years to come, and we will definitely be back to watch it grow. Seeing the raindeer was amazing and they were in a place they looked snug & they were easy to see and admire. Next year we will try champagne Island. The ice rink was plastic but it clearly stated this when booking & I prefer not getting a wet bum when I fall. Bolesworth absolutely smashed it and I would give 10/10. We will look forward to seeing you next year.

Christmas event was sadly a little underwhelming. We went in 2021 and were really impressed, returned in 2023 and there were far less light installations, less activities and things to do, and for the price £60+ for two adults felt very expensive for what was on offer. A real shame.

Brilliant morning at Bolesworth. Thoroughly enjoyed by the children and adults. Jurassic Live, was an awesome, interactive event; very well put together, with realistic, life Size dinosaurs. Well done to all the staff. My nephew, hopes to do this again! #Jurassiclive

OK went last night YES its expensive so here's a few prices just to pre warn you.dont like it don't pay it and don't moan about it on here later. A pint lager £6 A cup of tea and I mean a cup £3 each Burgers around 9 pound. Pizza around 12 pound. We had 2 pints and 2 teas so 18 quid Now different stalls are different prices they pay a stall fee and charge sensible and make a bit of profit but others charge a lot and make a loss. Don't like parting with money then take own food simple. Oh and enjoy the mud, lots of it all totally free

So. This was not too badly presented experience. However, the sheer cost of it was shocking. I never mind paying the right price for something, but Bolesworth Christmas experience was ridiculous. We were charged quite a high amount to get in. Followed by almost £12 for each child and each accompanying adult to see santa. For 2 kids, their parents and 2 grandparents was almost £70....and all the kids took away was a slim night before Christmas book. Absolutely shocking. And all the kids got the same, no variety of gifts From there, the cost for the funfair and the ice skating was all separate. And then the food (which wasn't great) and it all adds up for a really expensive poor value experience. The light show was really good though and was the only saving feature. Definitely wouldn't go again.

Well organised, Great weekend Festival. Happy place! Fantastic bands and acts playing in fun family entertainment. All for Children in Need charity. Great aisles of Food outlets hot and cold were really great. oh not forgetting the cars... droves of them.old ones, new ones fast ones, funny lookin ones and stunningly beautiful cars. Stalls of jewellery, clothes and crafts. Shame this year's weather was a down pour.... (sat-sun)ankle deep mud was a big turn off . Felt so sorry for all the people behind the scenes working hard to keep things going....can't wait for next year.😎

Great walk with lots for the kids to do. Loses a star for the excessive food & drink prices (£9 for a burger on its own and £2.30 for a can of Pepsi).

Attended the Carfest North last year and have tickets for this year too ( end of July if anyone is interested 😉) Great venue 5⭐️ quite a bit of walking but that’s healthy right ?? Will always go to carfest now, maybe something to do with Chris Evans .. who knows?? Great bands, food and laughter.. oh and plenty of 🚙🚗🚙

Fantastic lights, loved the enchanted forest. Food and drinks very expensive. I have to use a scooter and unfortunately the battery went flat (so lesson to be learned by anyone coming on a scooter to make sure your battery is fully charged as the terrain is quite bumpy and there are some quite steep slopes) However I have to make a special mention for Gareth who helped to push my scooter along with my husband all the way back to the car. Thank you

Spectacular events for families, we very much enjoyed visiting the sunflower picking patch, Halloween maze, circus, fireworks and Xmas events and couldn’t ask for better service and entertainment for all the family. Highly recommend to all !! Superb

Wonderful atmosphere, good views to be had of all the action (really enjoyed the ride n drive comp) & nice food on offer. Unfortunately the day was spoilt by the lengthy & awfully bumpy access road/track :-(

We booked to visit on 27th December and i tried to call in the morning to see if the event was still on, due to high winds. All phone lines were closed so we travelled 1 hour to get there anyway. Upon arriving we were told at the gate that the event had been cancelled. I'd not received an email, text, nothing and apparently it was only announced on fb (i don't follow Bolesworth on fb) My lil granddaughter was so disappointed she started crying and the whole day was ruined! However, we returned on 29th Dec and had a really nice day out ice skating. The fair was expensive, considering the high ticket price but very nice, with fire pits to toast marshmallows and the mulled wine was amazing. We walked the trail to watch the light show which was really spectacular. All in all we had a great time but staff need to improve on communication techniques.

First time at an open air cinema... Brilliant set up, let's you take your own food and drink, even with a licenced bar there. Fab setting, fab night, will be going back again for sure

Came here for the sunflower experience and found it so fun! Was worried it would just be for children as I came on a date with my partner but it was fun for everyone. We even did the maze and even though it was mainly geared at children the activities were still lighthearted and fun. There must’ve been thousands of sunflowers and they were 5 for £6 and considering how massive they were I thought that was a good price. Great picture spot.

Great set up. Weather wet and cold. Expensive to get in and then tides, food etc pricey too. Enjoyed it though.

Disappointed - xmas light walk all done in 30 mins! Food drink and fairground rides ridiculously over priced. Would much rather spend £150 on something worthwhile! Dunham Massey a million times better! The best part of the 100 minutes there was toasting my big marshmellow (thankfully we took our own otherwise that would have been another £12 for the four!).

Went today with friends, enjoyed meeting the yearlings in the auction, watching the jumping and the food. Downside is hardly any stalls…. No shopping experience at all. Nothing compared to previous years. Aztec diamond stall was good and some others.

Food and drinks over priced to absolute. Would rather starve to death then pay for a 9 inch pizza for £12 each. Basically charcoal burnt to the max all over. Burgers dry and flavour less. Drinks for 2 people being almost £20 each time.

Visited the Jurassic Live show at Bolesworth and while the staff were friendly I haven’t much positive to say. Marketed as something you can make a day of yet we were away within an hour. Land Rover ‘experience’ for kids cleverly located unavoidably next to the exit of the dinosaur tour, costing £7 for 2 minutes of flat grass track, one lap, move on to a couples of small inflatables, that’s another £5 for 45mins and if you feel like a cheap looking burger but want to spend £8.50 you’re in the right place. You’ll leave mindful of the £16 per child and the £20 per adult you paid for and in awe of the mystery of what the ‘Amazing new technology’ and ‘Brand new show’ were and which of the awkwardly moving costumes the ‘Brand new dinosaurs’ were. You’ll be glad you didn’t bring any kids over 7.

Had a great time at the sunflower maze. Found the experience really fun with my family. The staff are all really friendly and the prices are good too.

The only reason for not giving 5 Stars is the Santa was/is (what we call) a "Social Club Santa". Fake beard! Otherwise: A very well organised event, easy Parking system, Clean Toilets throughout, a well-balanced Fair (not too big & not too small), Very friendly staff, Brilliant Forest Lights Walk, Santa's Grotto well presented. The Santa was fantastic in his approach and very personable. Merry Christmas Bolesworth

Cost a fortune to get in for the Christmas event (believe it was over £100 for 2 adults and 2 kids under 7) and it wasn't worth the money if it was free. Santa gift for the kids was a pound land special
