Nice church building, awful socially inept priest. To be avoided for special occasions.

Beautiful Church had the pleasure of 10.45am Mass on 30th April 2023. Before heading to Holyhead. Lovely priest and music.

It was beautiful. yet lifeless. The priest was said the children should go to the literergy class so adults could listen in peace. It's meant to be a family mass! Also read the news letter out after telling you to take it home and read it. That is so annoying.

Beautiful Catholic Church. I’ve been going for more than a year (before that was going to the St Francis of Assisi church also in Chester city centre - lovely choir). The 10:45 Sunday mass has a lovely pipe organ playing.

Great views of the old mausoleum and a short jaunt from the Riverside. Service was speedy and the etiquette was high. A major downside to the food was that the chips appeared to be reheated. The chicken New Yorker was hot and delectable. A good spot for an affordable lunch. If you want more upmarket meals, however, try Urbano 32 on Bridge Street.

Very nice church and parish. Near the center of Chester. St Werburgh is the patron saint of this city.

It's not the church; it's the Priest. A sharp intellect, and sharper sense of humour plus a deep love of people and his vocation. I'm not a Catholic but he has still given me his time and counsel.
