    It took me an age to get through to on the phone so not the best of starts. Then found that they could not service my car as they didn't have a ramp it would fit on. No apology for long wait on phone or for being able to help. Asked for advise on where could help me and they could not advise. I have a Ford Ranger and was told only Ford in Kettering can service it.... So if you have a Ranger may be worth checking with local garages who can service it for you as you will need a garage with a certain class of ramp....

    Watch out for these crooks!!! Took my car in for a free steering check, nothing wrong found but was told that my Turbo needed replacing because it had a major oil leak and would fail it's next MOT. Quote of £1495. I told them I'd get back to them and 2 weeks later took car for MOT, no oil leak and turbo running perfectly. I told the MOT tester who said they were trying to scam me. Go elsewhere everyone. 😡😡😡

    Service was great but very expensive. It took quite a long time to have our car sorted due to the brake wear out and one tyre problem. However, Paul was so professional and nice. He explained the situation that made the car failed MOT and we had it sorted days after. Our car is now sparkling and working so well. Thank you Halfords

    This morning I went to change a damaged tire on the front left(after waiting one week for the tire to be delivered, so it will match the one on the right). After waiting an hour, I returned to the receprion to pick up my keys. To my surprise the staff at the receprion was too busy chit chatting to pay attention to me, but eventually one of them passed me my keys(but they never stopped talking to each other). When I arrived at the car I noticed that the wrong tire was used(honnest mistake it can happen if the tehnician is not paying attention). I returned to the reception to speak with them, and instead of apologising for the mixup, the man at the reception proceeded to tell me how the tire they fitted is better. At this point I explained to him that I want a matching set(especally on the front-wheel drive car like mine), to which the man said that it will take 3-4 days to be delivered. I explained that I already waited a week for this, I would've been fine to wait another 4 days to get the matching one instead of wasting 2 hours just to return home with the same damaged tire. I find it really unprofesional that: - nobody apologised for the miskate, even looked at me like I'm an idiot -a staff memeber of a service doesn't understand the concept of having a matching set of tires especially on the driving wheels - staff can't stop chatting to each other to pay attention to the customer -the tehnician is not paying attention to the component he/she isntalls

    Honestly, I've been here a few times but never left a review. This time round, reception went above and beyond to help me out when my car failed it's MOT and I was stuck. Service is always seamless, never had any issues and I trust them. Being part of a chain, their processes and procedures are standard and well thought out.

    30 percent cheaper at several other places in kettering for a tyre. Pleased with communication. If you are not in rush and want to save money, try other tyre places.

    Visit this autocentre to have a MOT carried out on my son's car. It didn't pass first time and needed a bit of work doing. Front desk staff could not have been more helpful, without pushing their own services gave good clear guidance on what we could do to get it through the emissions test and how we could ensure that the car was in good shape for the next MOT. They didn't have to do that but spending time explaining the situation to us was an unexpected and gave the feeling that they were really trying to help/support. I would not hesitate using this centre in future.

    Booked my car in for MOT, had a voucher through Halfords motoring Club, turned up on the day and told it couldn’t be done as the MOT tester had covid. But it had been rescheduled to the following Tuesday. Turned up on the Tuesday, dropped off and completed after an hour passed. Great service.

    Took my car in for a MOT. Booking online was very easy and reminders were timely. Customer service was great. I dealt with a guy called Luke. He was friendly from dropping to collecting my car, he provided advice on things to potentially look out for in nearing months ie Wheels, he provided a price guidance for that (as i requested). His enthusiasm was very obvious. Overall an awesome experience from start to finish - cant fault anything at all on this booking.

    I booked my car in for an MOT and service, and paid an extra £19.99 for the car to be collected from my home and delivered back afterwards. Well worth the money. I was kept informed at every stage, everyone was polite and friendly and the car was delivered back to me by 1pm. Will definitely use again.

    I had a Major service and they replaced two tyres. The staff were professional and there were no nasty shocks except I had to buy two new tyres which I had thought I would need, but the guy gave me an additional 10% off. I recieved a £10 voucher but couldn't use it in as it was a dud voucher and customer services wouldn't respond even via live chat. Again Halfords I find are very curteous in store, but they're not really techies, so the websites are a little iffy, but I'm glad to say, their actual workers arn't.

    Took my car to Halfords Autocentre Kettering for 2 front tyres and was diagnosed as needing new brake discs and pads on the front. Quoted me at nearly £300. I went to another garage for a second quote to be told the brakes and discs were fine on visible check. They then performed a roller test and it passed. I will not be using this company anymore as I believe they up sale to customers. I would not recommend to anyone else either. Stay away!

    Had booked the appointment for 14.30 to have four tyres replaced. Work did not start on my vehicle till 15.30 and wasn't completed till 16.35. The reception area only had one chair for customers to sit on and wait. No drinks machine or toilets for the customers to use.

    Car in for Mot. Wow, new and improved. we stopped going because of the person on the front desk, who wasn't the friendliest. Now they have Luke, he is very pleasant, explains everything and was super efficient. Looks like will be recommending them again.
